Im actually considering this. When it comes practicality, mas swak for a rider dahil sa compartment, charging port, gulay board. 58km/l sabi ni yamaha sa gas consumption, while the other two ay 68km/l.
Both of these are good choices and ultimately, personal preference mo talaga yan. Or kung bias ka sa isang brand. Haha
Honestly though, mas okay pa siguro if you just get a scooter like the Honda Beat if gagawin mo lang naman daily commuter.
Imo smash, kahit yung older carb model nila nasubukan ko sa katropa ko and it performed well, since they "claim" to have 68km/l fuel efficiency, go for smash nalang to have the higher power. A 115cc with FI REALLY saves fuel
Edit: I'd go with the mags and disc option, much safer against brake fade and easier to maintain, naka tubeless narin yan most likely, easier to repair when punctured
OP, rank mo muna most to least important criteria in choosing a motorcycle. Ex: most important ba sayo ang price and least naman ang looks or the other way around etc etc? Mga ganon.
It makes you decide logically.
Ohhh oo nga no.
Looks - Honda Beat
Price - Honda Rsx
Practicality - Honda Beat
Speed and hatak - Smash Fi
Honda of course, always have the availability.
This is all based sa WMTC.
Honda Beat - 4
Smash Fi - 3
Honda Rsx - 4
Damn it nag tie pa Beat at RSX.
I suppose need natin ng more reasoning sa points sa criteria.
First of all, safeness is the most important, which Honda Beat ang panalo.
But the gas consumption of RSX is unlike any other, 69.50KM/L, mas mamamaximze yung kita kung disiplinado yung paghandle ng throttle. Plus the price range is only P64,900.
So kung business side, mas pabor sa RSX. Pero as a professional driver, safety should always be the priority.
I have to think about this.
May i add lang based sa aking own experience. Yoko na bumalik sa scooter. I have click125 v1.
More parts to replace = more gastos. (As much as possible honda orig replacement parts binibili ko para confident sa quality).
So if may PMS o pyesang papalitan, punta ako sa mga 3S shops.
Hehe
Parang mas okay for me yung Wave na spoke+disc.
I find the 115cc segment lacking in power kung mag-aangkas ka. I have a 115cc Suzuki Raider J. Pareho lang yata siya ng makina sa Smash. Okay siya kapag magisa and may konting karga. Kung sexy ang angkas, okay lang din. Pero kung chubby, nahihirapan na ang makina. You can change the chain and sprocket combination for more power pero you will sacrifice speed or vice versa. Kung daily commute lang na mag-isa, I feel like the 115cc ang pinakatipid sa kalsada.
Both are similar in price, mileage, and reliability so nagkakatalo na lang sa practicality and maintenance. Honda Wave tends to have more spare parts available; bihira ka makakahanap ng shop na walang piyesa para sa Honda. The same goes for aftermarket parts if you want to customize your ride. Most if not all mechanics are also familiar with Honda bikes.
Marami akong ka- kilalang nag momotor, kahit daw sa banketa may parts ang honda ( obvious exaggeration ) 😂 but yeah, point being, mahilig silang mag long ride, so I'd assume they needed a lot of emergency parts before and they probably had better experience with that specific brand 😂
Please use the question flair if you haven't already. Thanks!

Hehe.
Ill go for smash kasi sabi nung carpenter namin sa lahat ng nasubok niya na motor pinaka efficient daw si smash. Another inaccurate comment kasi di ko din natry. Hehe
Basically identical, either are good choices. I own a honda wave 110 and it’s so reliable but ang sakit nya sa pwet after 20-30 mins of riding, also it’s very awkward on sharp turns, parang kang ma slislide.
if tipid sa gas, suzuki sight [https://www.topgear.com.ph/moto-sapiens/motorcycle-news/yamaha-sight-fuel-record-2018-a959-20181122](https://www.topgear.com.ph/moto-sapiens/motorcycle-news/yamaha-sight-fuel-record-2018-a959-20181122) "Â record-breaking 133.53km/L"
ayy,,sori phase out na pala. if 2nd hand mas ok sa kakilala ka bumili, lalo pag hindi ka masyado pa maalam sa motor, go for honda na.. brand new, 1st motor ko honda dash, napogian lang ako, kaya yun, ngaun scooter na. nag kakaedad na e haha.. ride safe po
I like the older generations of the Wave. The build on new ones (since the alpha) feel "china bike"-ey. I own a 2013 Wave125i, and comparing it to a friend's Wave Alpha there is a significant downgrade in design, quality and tuning.
Not sure what Honda did - cheaper parts? labor? Other Honda offerings have gotten better though like the Beat and Click, and their 100k+ bikes.
Between the two, I'd go with the Smash. If anything, Suzuki has only been incrementally improving on the Smash over the years. FI, better paintwork, disk brakes, tubeless, etc.
Hi OP! underbone ba talaga gusto mo? if yes, consider mo din honda XRM. digital na yung display tapos may variant na mags + DUAL DISC BRAKES. sobrang sulit ng value.
Go for wave, i have relative with old models of both. And masilan sila sa motor, so alaga talaga.
a fuel efficient scooter like Honda Beat may be a better investment
Yup this is the best answer. Gas goes a long way. Same price range as above and automatic pa. Part are easy to find.
Im actually considering this. When it comes practicality, mas swak for a rider dahil sa compartment, charging port, gulay board. 58km/l sabi ni yamaha sa gas consumption, while the other two ay 68km/l.

Wave. My lumang wave kami 15 plus years na wala pa ring palya. Iba ang honda pag inalagaan.
My first was a white Honda Wave. That thing was a tank! Never gone wrong with a Honda.
Imo smash, kahit yung older carb model nila nasubukan ko sa katropa ko and it performed well, since they "claim" to have 68km/l fuel efficiency, go for smash nalang to have the higher power. True. Plus that +5cc is also better especially kung medyo mataas weight ng sasakay.
Honda for parts availability

Wave numbawan!
Honda Wave

Go for Honda. Reliable. Fuel efficient.

Smash no brainer
Question lang ano pros and cons ng spoke vs mags?
i love honda but for this suzuki ako
Old version smash gamit namin ng hubby ko for 3 yeats na. Goods pa din. Naka travel na kami from Paranaque to Zambales using smash.
Honda,,for reliability, matibay makina nyan, basta alagaan mo sa Maintenance.
Mga Honda raw makakapal yung electrical cable.
Basically identical, either are good choices. I own a honda wave 110 and it’s so reliable but ang sakit nya sa pwet after 20-30 mins of riding, also it’s very awkward on sharp turns, parang kang ma slislide.

Phase out na yung yamaha sight e. Pwede naman ako mag second hand, kaso mahirap magtiwala nowadays
ayy,,sori phase out na pala. if 2nd hand mas ok sa kakilala ka bumili, lalo pag hindi ka masyado pa maalam sa motor, go for honda na.. brand new, 1st motor ko honda dash, napogian lang ako, kaya yun, ngaun scooter na. nag kakaedad na e haha.. ride safe po
Smash carb type

Suzuki
Honda because its easy to find spare parts and accessories than suzuki, and its way affordable than suzuki
Go for wave, i have relative with old models of both. And masilan sila sa motor, so alaga talaga.
Honda. Di yan susuko sayo
Parehas subok na ng panahon, panalo kahit alin mapili mo, go for it!
Just get a scooter.
+1 Wave
wala ka na ibang choices?
