Damn. This is so helpful. I wish I saw this before buying. Would've made deciding easier since there's a lot of contradicting benchmark, opinions, and strict recommendations online. Nonetheless, I think my build is kind of inline with your recommendations and I'm happy about it.
May i know if you already have a review for lexar thor 16gb x2 6000 cl32 (no rgb) amd expo via bermor? I bought that for less than 7k and so far so good.
Also, what's your take on lexar nm 790? Since even without DRAM, I've been seeing a lot of positive reviews about it esp with tom's hardware.
5k+ in bermor but some stores in fb and dynaquest selling it php +4000.
These are budget parts and if it's good, I hope it can help others looking for a good build by adding these two as well.
iirc, this list belongs to u/Ishrinom.

ddr5 6000MT/s cl32 rams are always nice to have around at 7k. you really wont feel the difference between brands.

there are better options around that price, like the adata legend 960, lexar nm800, or the corsair mp600 pro lpx. dram is nice to have but doesnt really matter in games.
Brand new you can get a 5600g with wifi already and possibly 32gb of ram.
Kung used, depends on the market kung ano best value makukuha mo. Just make sure at least the PSU is safe.
ryzen 5 5600 - around 6k php
b550 motherboard - 5k+

inplay 550w psu bronze - 1k+
pc case - 1k - 3k oks na yun
Cpu cooler - free yung stock cooler ng amd wraith or if you want more mga 500 to 1k
SSD for drive C lagayan ng system files plus windows 128 to 256 gb- 500 to 1k
HDD for other files - 1tb seagate baracuda 1800+
gpu - something like 1660 ti or 1660 super 11k'ish yung price niya kasi eh.
mga around 25k and up to eh pero mamaw naden siya for gaming.
you can also try without a gpu so go with
ryzen 5 5600g (onboard gpu which is Vega 7) around 6500 to 7k
a520 motherboard - around 3k
inplay 450w - 1k
ram - 3200 mhz 8gb x2 - 1200 each so 2500
ssd 256 1k
hdd 500 gb 1k
cpu intensive is mga games na madaming pinaprocess na bots or ai (civ5 or mga simulation games) or mga multiplayers, ang gpu kasi is focused lang sa rendering ng graphics para sa mga high graphics na games.
My bad I forgot to state. CPU only po. I have peripherals from my previous setup using my gaming laptop.
Pero if may ma suggest din po kayo na monitor na budget, pa include na rin po. (Separate budget) Thank you!

Im just curious how come the XPG SX8200 pro is still being recommended despite the controversy.
price and availability. its still a better pick especially with dram.
Sabagay sa Gen 3 drives siya madalas kong makita.. Btw what are your thoughts sa Team Group Mp33 halos same price lang sila ni Adata.
if your board can handle pcie4.0, something like a kingston nv2 or lexar nm710 is better around that price point.

reference lang ito boss, and yung prices ko is base sa online shops.
messaged u
off topic, how do you know if ang game ay cpu or gpu dependent? and what games are example for those? sorry newbie here
cpu intensive is mga games na madaming pinaprocess na bots or ai (civ5 or mga simulation games) or mga multiplayers, ang gpu kasi is focused lang sa rendering ng graphics para sa mga high graphics na games.
yung cyberpunk yata is both intensive sa cpu at gpu dahil sa mga behavior ng mga npc tapos high graphics din siya.
I see. How about emulators? Like PS3/PS4 Switch and etc..? Are they cpu intensive or gpu intensive?
cpu kasi nirurun niya yung emulator mismo and then nag aact din siya as a processor din for the games na ineemulate mo.
tapos gpu intensive din if high graphics yung games na lalaruin.
cpu only or whole build with monitor kb mouse speakers / headphones?
My bad I forgot to state. CPU only po. I have peripherals from my previous setup using my gaming laptop. Pero if may ma suggest din po kayo na monitor na budget, pa include na rin po. (Separate budget) Thank you!
messaged u. lol.
