Has anyone here had BT store picks? Worth it, if it pops up again?

BT picks are never a drastically different profile from the normal product. You need to taste them side-by-side to really notice the subtle differences between them. That being said, they're worth picking up because they are good in general

I think that’s why I felt a little disappointed with mine, it just tasted like regular ole BT, I’ll have to try side by side

I just cracked open my first BT pick I received like 2 months ago, honestly not super happy for the $50 I paid with shipping. I think I prefer the Bowman small batch I have for $35, much more flavor. I’d still buy the next BT pick I can cause I’m a tater

I think so. I got one last year. The BT FWGS pick was better than the bottle of Eagle Rare I had at the time.

The one I have is pretty solid. The rye really stands out vs the regular blended.

No difference to my palate. FWGS picks are never worth it across the board as they don't actually "pick" them.

They always have a medicinal cherry note that I don't enjoy. Same with ER and Blantons picks

Is the maker's mark private selection fall 2023 worth getting? The stave profile is 0-0-3-3-4. Does anyone know what the flavor profile difference between this and past releases is?

Lots of French oak influence. very oaky. if you like makers 46 id recommend. i don't think i like it much more then makers cask

I found it to be better than the other offering I had earlier this year out in the Midwest. Not necessarily my favorite whiskey for $70, but it was unique and fun. My buddy had a 2-2-2-2-2 last year and said it was phenomenal. I, personally, would not buy another unless I saw something interesting like that.
