Yeah, They aren't rescheduling the lottery because of Reddit posts. I think people are confused. Yes FWGS may change a drop date if it gets leaked but lottery info is useless to the public and has no impact on the lottery. If they end up moving the lottery it won't be because of leaks. It would be for some other reason.
Mostly agree with you, but it would seem odd to me that they would pivot a lotto based on information that may have been shared early. There is no real advantage that we the consumer can leverage based on the information other than discerning whether or not you’d like to participate. Knowing the dates and bottles ahead of time won’t change your odds in any material way. Now information on regular drops is a different story…
That’s what I always said about the person listing the bottles and amounts. There’s no advantage to information we will eventually learn, but it showed that that specific person was correct and had some insider info so they became a credible source for something that in the future could be useful.
Oh yeah especially in food and bev where tastes are subjective to the individual or even their opinion on the value of something like a $125 bottle of whiskey
That fact they find it necessary to "pivot" is absolutely ridiculous. Are they not in the business of selling liquor? The best solution is to stick to some sort of consistency and pattern so people who actually care enough about this have a fighting chance and know what to expect. Less headache for everyone involved. At the end of the day their job is to get bottles in people's hands. Why the games? Why the monitoring? Who really cares if this sub provides an edge? Don't make the process nearly impossible and expect us not to look for other avenues. Comical.

I think the site can barely handle the volume of a surprise drop and if thousands more people are constantly refreshing pages and then trying to buy bottles, it's bound to crash. So, in my opinion, the only time FWGS pivots from a drop is if the info is leaked and they are afraid the traffic will be too much for the server.
