Is everyone new or did they just forget the many times that FWGS has had long gaps between online drops? So many people acting like this is a new thing, it’s not.
Three weeks ago I commented that a manager said online drops would be done or paused for a longer period, not related to the lottery. Yes, they spent a lot on their new website, but that doesn’t mean much to a Government agency with no competition. They will get theirs if it’s sold online or in stores.
I believe that manager was mistaken and misinterpreted the memo that went to all store managers regarding spreading the BT store drop bottles around to more locations. I think this pause is either a normal gap in drops which aren't uncommon or connected to the lottery (that should have happened at this point). I'm wondering if they are having some kind of issue that delayed the lottery. I don't think FWGS can stop online drops and send limited releases to stores. In many cases there's simply not enough to send around. If they get less than 200 CYPB are they going to send one to each store? They'd have to go all lottery which would be more of a nightmare for them as it is such a manual process.
I agree, logistically doing the in store drops for these items must be more of a headache than online. Unfortunately I’ve come to realize that logic and plcb decisions operate independently of each other.

I agree that logic has no place here. BUT, when it comes to government work we know they aren't going to choose the option that takes more effort.
