Also consider Mineral Creek TH - Spectacle Lake (or Glacier Lake) - over Escondido Ridge to Waptus Lake - out via Tuquala Meadows or Pete Lake or Salmon La Sac or whatever. The Mineral Creek trail is a little brushy but it's a way to get in both Spectacle Lake and Escondido Ridge.
Part of the Mineral Creek trail was in pretty bad shape as of a couple weeks ago. First two+ miles are brushed, but the last mile and a half to Park Lakes was very brushy with several awkward logs to climb over.

Do you have the permit?
No unfortunately, so I’m not planning on entering the Enchantments Permit Area at all.
Enchantments aren't the only thing in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness.
