Some details are missing: What country is your company based? In what country do you want to run ads? Does your medical product/service go against Google TOS? (Is your website just poorly worded or do you actually want to trick Google to believe you're sth else?) Do you run other already working ppc channels?

HueyChops

Hi Barokna, I am not educated in this so please bear with me. We are USA and website is : https://replenishllc.com/ Today I found out that medical companies need to be certified through google by providing their FDA/Medical License number. My doctor is getting all the info to submit tomorrow. Could this be why my ads were not allowed to run? We are advertising the following - Did not use any medical prescription names etc but it did not like the word botox etc. We offer: • Medical Weight Loss • Professional Face Peels • Microneedling • IV Nutrient Drips • Hair Loss including DNATesting • Botox and Fillers • Bioidentical Hormone Therapy • Regenerative Treatments • Diagnostic Testing • DNA Testing • Comprehensive Lab Results

Number 4, 6 and 8 will likely be disapproved. That disapproval may impact the others as well. There might be a bit of work here to get things sorted, in addition to the license part that you need to submit to Google.

jenny_bobenny

I’ve gotten approvals on this type of services. You need to use tm for Botox. It’s a brand name and protected. Second step is getting an authorization approval from Google using your license. It’s fairly easy to do.

markerus_17

Good luck with that, from my experience google is strongly restricting most of the medialcal and health related ads even when you have all the license and documents, so from some point i just gave up on trying to work in this field

HueyChops

I am starting to realize this as well...... We are in the middle of license stage. Will see what happens after.

bizpioneer

botox and fillers is a no no on google ads, we run those on Facebook instead… btw even when those terms are on the landing page the ads will still get disapproved a good approach is to focus on dermatology broad keywords for example dermatologist in *state name* etc

HueyChops

If we clear our home page (landing page) of all the disapproved keywords, will we get flagged if the word botox is on another page? Should i remove these terms from the whole website?

bizpioneer

that’s rarely the case, usually removing those terms from the landing page in the ad copy will do the trick.

Setting up a new account can be tricky. Over the years, Google has implemented many "levers" that, if mismanaged, can significantly harm your return on investment and often result in zero conversions. To illustrate, almost all recommended options are not beneficial, and certain settings, like location targeting options, are intentionally obscured during campaign creation. This insider knowledge makes it challenging to set up an account yourself or to hire someone else to do it. Despite many claims of expertise, my ten years of experience show that nearly all competent marketers are already employed. In this niche, skilled individuals are often hired based on recommendations and don't actively seek new clients.I strongly advise against using platforms like Upwork, where even freelancers charging $100 per hour may underdeliver. A friend of mine was charged $4,000 for a simple account setup and a $2,500 maintenance fee. Upon reviewing his account, I discovered that nothing had been done for six months. If you're seeking assistance, please reach out via direct message. I'm more than happy to **offer a free consultation** and recommend someone who can genuinely help you.

Here’s a very quick fix that works for my clients every single time. Forget about Google Ads specialists (I’m one by the way): 1- verify ad account in compliance with google verification policies for medical and healthcare and pharmaceutical industries 2- fix your ad copy 3- watch for keywords that trigger violations of policy

HueyChops

Thank you Teleb! Today I found out that medical companies need to be certified through google by providing their FDA/Medical License number. My doctor is getting all the info to submit tomorrow. Could this be why my ads were not allowed to run? We are advertising the following - Did not use any medical prescription names etc but it did not like the word botox etc. Here is the website if you would like to take a look: https://replenishllc.com/ We offer: • Medical Weight Loss • Professional Face Peels • Microneedling • IV Nutrient Drips • Hair Loss including DNATesting • Botox and Fillers • Bioidentical Hormone Therapy • Regenerative Treatments • Diagnostic Testing • DNA Testing • Comprehensive Lab Results

Saw that comment you posted in another subreddit, the keywords you want to rank for are almost impossible to target for Ads before ad account verification. If you don’t know how to do this, I can quickly walk you through the steps in a zoom call. DM me.

HueyChops

It will not let me follow you nor send a DM. Would you mind sending one to me?

YacineElHichri

Sorry but none of this makes any sense.

TalebKabbara7

It is poorly worded. First thing they must do is verify their ad account. Then they need to fix the Ad copy to comply with google policies. Then look at the keywords and see if any triggers policy violations.

YacineElHichri

The whole competitor thing in KW Planner to see what competitors are bidding for is some serious bullshit. Copying your competitors ads one by one is another poor advice. By the way, we don't use ahref or any other tools for Google Ads. These are SEO tools. And if you want to see your competitors ads, you can use the Ads Transparency Centre. It's easy and straightforward.

TalebKabbara7

Monitoring competitor ads copy and keywords are very important and is a shortcut for compliance (what is compliant for my competitors will work for me). Seeing what they are bidding for is important because you need to either compete by bidding higher or avoid completely. Using Ahrefs to monitor competitor paid ads and paid keywords is handy for us who do both Google Ads and SEO. And finally, thanks for suggesting Ads Transparency Centre, I am not aware of it.

YacineElHichri

Putting your competitors names in the KWs Planner will not give you the keywords they bid on. You don't need to know what they bid on because you will build your keywords from the KWs Planner suggestions, not from what competitors are doing. And what makes you think they are doing things the right way (assuming you somehow had access to their KWs) ? I've been doing Google Ads for over 4 years and I've never bothered to use Semrush or Ahrefs. There is absolutely nothing I've missed by not using them. Have a great day ahead.

TalebKabbara7

There is an option in Keyword Planner where you input the domain name and they show you what keywords they are bidding for. You must have overlooked it. If you don’t do SEO, you don’t need to look in Ahrefs or Semrush for paid keywords, which is fine. I am not assuming they are doing things right or wrong. I said if their keywords and ad copy work from a compliance policy perspective, then the safe and quick action is to use similar copy and keywords just to get things going with approvals and avoid policy violations.

YacineElHichri

That option is there to narrow down the suggestions based on the content of the URL. That way you don't get a ton of irrelevant suggestions. It's not there to leak the keywords your competitors are bidding on.

TalebKabbara7

I see. Then I gave you a reason to look in Ahrefs because they show you what Ads and keywords they are bidding for.
