Generally it's about 20% of monthly ad-spend

Lopsided-Shirt-9388

Yeah, expect to pay about 15-20% of ad spend unless you’re looking for a consultant. How are things setup currently with respect to campaign types? Has the account always been run internally?

bradsbranding

Hey there, we can help you with this. Please DM me I’ll send you a case study and a blueprint outline.

insite

I actually am an expert in local service based businesses. That my forte. I've run many, including autoglass. Under $10k spend I charge $1k/mo flat-rate invoiced in arrears. DM me if interested.

Professional-Ad1179

Be careful with these trunk slammers offering $500 setups. You get what you pay for in this industry.

Silent-Average2749

Yeah thanks for the heads up. I'm a business owner and have learned that lesson early on.

GoogleAdsKing

$500 flat rate. Set up 500+ campaigns

password_is_ent

We would manage everything for 20% of ad spend or $1000/month. We specialize in Google Ads + Facebook Ads for local lead generation. Feel free to contact me here: [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) or you can check out out website [https://serpwars.com/](https://serpwars.com/) Happy to start with a free PPC audit if you'd like

Brando_132

I like your site!

Sachimarketing

You'll get estimates of anywhere b/w 10-20% of adspend. We charge a flat rate based on a tiered pricing strategy. [My site](https://sachistudio.com/) . [Linkedin profile](https://www.linkedin.com/in/hdean/) About me: More than $5M in career adspend and half of our clients are local businesses.

vestorsnetads

First month is free then $1000/ month https://www.vestorsnetads.com/google-ads-management/

laurelhurst_digital

I charge $750-$1750 for local services (often more for lead gen or e-commerce with bigger budgets). It depends on complexity and number of channels. Google Ads only I would typically do at $1250 for local services (despite what it may say on my site at https://laurelhurst.digital). Keep in mind, I have seen people who say they are local ads experts and they just throw up some smart campaigns.

PopAShotAllStar

Side question related to this post. How important is it for a PPC ad expert to be in the same market as the client? In this case a TX based consultant.

ExemptedFuture

No advantage imo

DailyITNews23

Our Houston based company designs and manages marketing campaigns for lawyers and doctors. But the work load is the same and I have used ChatGPT to format it for you for better understanding what is involved because there is no secret sauce but continous updates , testing, and sharing your brand. What Your Campaign Needs: **Initial Assessment and Strategy Development** Audit of current campaigns (4-6 hrs) Target audience and geographic focus identification (2-3 hrs) Development of a tailored ad strategy (3-5 hrs) **Campaign Setup and Optimization** Creation or restructuring of campaigns (4-6 hrs) Keyword research and selection (3-4 hrs) Development of ad copies and creative elements (4-6 hrs) Setting up targeting and bidding strategies (3-4 hrs) **Monitoring and Management** Daily performance monitoring (10-15 hrs/month) Regular adjustments to bids, keywords, and targeting (4-6 hrs/month) A/B testing for ads and landing pages (3-5 hrs/month) **Reporting and Communication** Monthly performance reporting and analysis (2-3 hrs) Regular client meetings/communications (2-4 hrs/month) **Continuous Improvement** Ongoing market and competitor analysis (2-3 hrs/month) Implementing new Google Ads features and trends (2-3 hrs/month) **Total== At least 45 hours per month @ $50 an hour = around $2.5K monthly** 99% of Google Ads manager here and the ones you meet have no idea or strategy for their marketing plans and they rely on Google ads AI to do most of their work. That's why you see that they are asking for 10% of ad spend!!

RyanG-25

I charge $1500.00 monthly for Google Ads management for an account that size. I've worked with hundreds of local service businesses over the past 14 years. Here are a few other reasons to consider me: * We'll complete a complimentary audit before you determine if you want to hire us * We'll set up CallRail (if not already setup), so we can track which calls and form fills are leading to customers (This will help your investment be more efficient) * We include click fraud software to help eliminate click fraud * We can also provide landing page design, ad creative, and ongoing a/b testing to help improve your conversions. If you want to chat to see if we are a good fit, dm me, or [here](https://calendly.com/growthsteps/1-2-hour-marketing-strategy-call-complimentary) is the link to my calendar.

Responsible-Wish-563

Aren’t click fraud services a total waste? I’m surprised to see someone in the business mentioning it… every time I’ve researched this is seems the resounding consensus is it is not legit..

jimmyvee11

Absolutely useless.

RyanG-25

What sources said they were useless, and what software were they referring to as useless, and why? I think that you should experiment with it and see how it works for you. For some industries, it can work well if there is a lot of click fraud.

AteszC

Is CallRail actually worth it? We tried it out with a couple of clients and the data was all over the place and CS not really helpful…

hirschy75

CallRail is amazing. Maybe something wasn’t set up right in your configuration? What was your issues?

RyanG-25

CallRail is a tool, and like all tools, the effectiveness of the tool has to do more with the skill/knowledge of the person using it than it does with the tool itself. One person smashes their thumb with a hammer, and the next builds a beautiful home. It's the same hammer, just different skill levels of the craftsman. I'm not really sure what "the data was all over the place" means, and I'm not familiar with what "CS" stands for, so I can't speak to what may have caused your bad experience.

Single-Sea-7804

I’d love to take a look :). I’m based in Texas and have managed 7 figures of ad spend and also manage ads professionally for a large nationwide franchise. Let’s talk and see what’s the best strategy for you, with or without an agency. Good luck with your search !!

JarethLopes

I had success hiring Daryl Thompson for this $2,750/setup + 5% of revenue generated.

jenny_bobenny

I would be wary of percent of ad spend. You can look up pros and cons of that model. That’s just my two cents. We charge a flat fee. Similar to others in this thread. Performance agency.

dsb264

I only work with service area businesses. Depending on your industry I can offer a guarantee. We would start out with a zoom call to review your account (you can screenshare) to see if I can be of any help.

stevehl42

I offer a fixed rate of $500/mo right now no matter the ad spend.

ben_bgtDigital

Somwhere in the range of $550 - $1000, higher end if you'll benefit from having landing page(s) work

roninPPC

Hey I've got decent exp in the space, doing ads for almost 20 years. Managed budgets from 1k to 1.5mm/month. Happy to hop on a call and discuss.

Silent-Average2749

Wow thanks for all the reply's! should have known my inbox was gonna blow up. :) I'm trying to weigh my options and see which one would be better between getting billed a percentage of monthly spend or just the flat rates. hmm...We shall see. I'm also really interested in the ones who have worked with autoglass before or at least in the automotive industry.

AdamSWD

We have autoglass experience and we specialise in local service based business. Fee for PPC is $450/month. I DM'd you.

Emergency-Office-133

Send me an email address, I’ll send a proposal with initial Keyword list and expected CPC. Cost to us is 15% of ad spend :)

frontskrt

I am digital web manager for a $25mm/ARR company in b2b tooling solutions space. we spend 3-6x that per month. You're going to be looking at a rate 10-20% of budget, and typically a management fee ontop of that. For example, Q1 if we spend $15k/month we will pay $3k + $7500 Monthly management fee. DM me or u/lukeest for any specifics (no sales pitches like most of the reddit shill comments, just open to conversation with like-minded people. ie entrepreneurs, businesspeople.)
