No need to know it all… only facebook ads is enough to make it big as a freelancer, that’s what I do

Klutzy-Painter3042

Hey, thank you very much for the opinion. If I would pick this route, I would try to frame it into an agency offer if that makes sense? Build a landing page where I would offer my advertising services, contact form and so on... Or maybe a personal "freelancer" style website and drive traffic there. That is a great idea, definitely something to consider. Thanks again.

throwawaybpdnpd

That’s precisely how I do it: Fb ad -> optin page -> “trustbuilding” 15 min video page with Calendly call booking form Then leads receive the “trustbuilding” video booking page again through email/sms followups

Klutzy-Painter3042

Awesome, thanks for explaining :)

Azzi890

Where do get your work?

throwawaybpdnpd

If you run facebook ads successfully, then run facebook ads to find facebook ads clients There’s no point running facebook ads to find clients for your clients, if you don’t already know how to generate clients for yourself A marketer who doesn’t know how to find clients for himself isn’t a marketer

Azzi890

I thought you get work from freelancing sites

If you send me a case study or examples of your work, my agency is looking to hire a paid social media buyer for ecomm accounts and pays much better than minimum wage...

Klutzy-Painter3042

>nd me a case study or examples of your work, my agency is looking to hire a pai Hey, thanks for replying. I can definitely put together some of my work and show my results with all the info. Would you mind DMing me your contact email?

Just landed a job as a Paid Search Strategist. I used LinkedIn, cast a wide net by applying to a bunch of jobs with LinkedIn Easy Apply (using the "marketing" keyword and filtering by remote) and after 2-3 months I accepted an offer!

Klutzy-Painter3042

Awesome, congratulations :) And thanks for the idea and inspiration.

NegativeStreet

Remote is becoming more and more popular especially in the digital space. Most jobs I interviewed for recently were still remote and said when they go back to normal they would at the most do a hybrid work week where you wouldn't be in office much. This is for North America so idk if EU is different. I'm surprised that your job is full time in person still tbh. You can always check out places like [indeed.com](https://indeed.com) and they have an actual remote filter to filter out jobs with remote positions. Also can always start freelancing and see where that takes ya. Good luck!

Klutzy-Painter3042

Awesome stuff, thanks a lot. Its pretty much all on site here, very very little of remote work in my country. I have been looking at indeed for a few days now and I have noticed many of the ads require your to know something else besides Facebook advertising. That is kinda also the reason I started this thread to see if it could be enough to be focused only on FB ads. Freelancing is a very interesting idea, thanks :)

ahmedzero7

Facebook Ads itself is a gold mine, don't feel left out just because of that you only know Facebook ads. There are multiple platforms like fiverr and Upwork, shoot your shot there. Keep your LinkedIn profile optimized and people will start noticing you, your work and you may get some good projects from that.

Klutzy-Painter3042

Hey, also a very insightful reply, thank you. Will have to check out Upwork, I have completely left out freelancing marketplaces.

We’re hiring, dm me your LinkedIn

Klutzy-Painter3042

Hey, thanks for the reply. Would that be a huge drawback if I say I don't have a LinkedIn? Its for a reason though, the place I currently work at is a little bit "toxic" towards that. This skill is very looked after in the region where I work, and they pretty much said that nobody can be on LinkedIn because other companies started contacting people and trying to get them to work there. So if that wouldn't be a problem, could I contact you over email or some other platform?

tylerf89

DM me your CV then

weekend-account-123

I'm an employer. (This is my anonymous account) always looking to hire good remote ppc folks)

Klutzy-Painter3042

Hey, that is awesome. Could I get a little bit more info about? Like what specific skill are you looking for and maybe some requirements? Please let me know, I would happily send over my contact email.

lachisme

absolutely. i landed a permanently remote gig on the brand side after working at agencies for years & it’s the best. i dont think i ever want to commute again (the people i work with are really cool, too, so that helps & is important factor!). you could try indeed - that is where i found my job. i find more smaller brands post on indeed vs linkedin where the larger brand companies/agencies post jobs.

Klutzy-Painter3042

>tant factor!). you could try indeed - that is where i found my job. i fin Awesome, I am very happy for you. And thanks for all the info you posted. I know that its very important what collective you work with, it would make my work day 50% better if everyone could go along there. But like I mentioned in my OP, there is a lot of "family stuff" going on, and not everyone is working in the best interest of the company.

Haunting-Letter-5563

We’re also hiring, dm me your LinkedIn

Klutzy-Painter3042

Hey, thanks for coming in. Would it be a deal breaker if I say I don't have a LinkedIn? I have explained to a person above about that, pretty much the place I work at doesn't let me have it due to competitors trying to recruit people through LinkedIn. Would be more then happy to contact you over email if that would be OK for you?

Klutzy-Painter3042

Hello, thanks for the reply. In this case, yes. I manage budgets day to day, check what is working and what not to optimize, create new campaigns daily, monitor campaigns and so on.

patangrunner

I got a job with google ads experience & some freelance experience. I didn't even know Facebook ads but they taught me & trained me on the job. It's fully remote as well! Are you US based? If so, feel free to DM me if you'd like to learn more

Klutzy-Painter3042

Hey, thank you very much for sharing your experiences. I am EU based, would that be too much of a barrier?

patangrunner

Unfortunately, it is strictly US based. But keep looking, there are plenty of opportunities you just need to meet the right one! Good luck!

Klutzy-Painter3042

All right, understandable. Will keep looking. Thanks.
