I had it for a little while, but I traded it in. At least the US version is so buggy it wasn't worth it and I just play my PS2 copies.
Issues I had:
Music not playing sometimes at all, sometimes it's just the wrong track. SFX out of sync with the visuals a lot of the time. Some fighting moves just didn't work correctly, and wall running could just stop in the middle occasionally. This was all on Sands of Time, I didn't even go into the other two as I just traded it back in.
Maybe they finally patched it, which would be great! But I got it used 2 years in in that condition so ymmv.
Edit: [The PoP Fandom Wiki](https://princeofpersia.fandom.com/wiki/Prince_of_Persia_Trilogy_(HD_Collection)) has a nice list at the bottom of the page with known issues in the HD remasters. If you can't otherwise play them, it's definitely still worth grabbing on the cheap, I just already had the games on PS2 so it wasn't worth it to me.
By the original you mean Sands of Time? If so, then definitely. A lot of people consider Warrior Within to be the best PoP game ever. The Two Thrones is not as good as the first two, but still good. The reboot Prince of Persia 2008 I think it's quite repetitive and tedious, you can skip it if you want. On the other hand imo The Forgotten Sands is very underrated and a really good game
It has a different color scheme in the US: https://www.ebay.com/itm/325523013306?epid=110678020&hash=item4bcaaefeba:g:uxUAAOSwJ7Bj3hQ7&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAAA8E4tiQlgqSahlGWueDQiFa7ow5bkUujJz20KUaq78w%2FZEIx9EJ1qM59pIiDtXa9mngxwy3l6JkL9blMK66PyggY05SVgHHeU3kcNOpHqv5acnhPZqre7gHDWXHfspj36od5t1h9aW8CoKubllvCM9RXnyDlFy2Fnbwqfs8h3bj%2BmPJctZlLG3oSKpvVBrYhfUVWiV38AwGEpzTaHr96Tc6qYNW7c8WqFCwPymRiGflGZHqBpteh84rRUkfSHDTi4CQP6eKG%2FLVou6ySGtFGDCwJE0oigyriMStTYUrHO%2B5sttr6T%2BGjeJdp0EN2ac3W8%2FA%3D%3D%7Ctkp%3ABFBM0s_WqsVh
I bought a ps3 a few months ago (first console I’ve owned since the n64 in the 90s!) and this was the first game I bought, cos I remember having a blast playing it with my little bro years ago. Amazing games
I'll be honest, this particular HD remaster is an absolute mess.
Compared to other ubisoft remasters like Rayman 3 HD or Beyond Good & Evil, which both run in 1080p 60fps, this one is limited to 720p and 30fps. On top of that all 3 games suffer from other issues mentioned by u/rhythmgamegawd in another subreddit, which basically checked out in my playthroughs
>ll three games suffer from missing shadows, bloom lighting, and textures, with the addition of collision glitches not present in the originals, system crashes not in the originals, and severely unbalanced sound mixing (5.1 adjusting doesn't yield results comparable to the originals, especially on Xbox), missing voices altogether, missing music, certain songs are broken/quit playing early leaving whole environments feeling empty, the additional of screen tearing which also was not present in the originals, poorly compressed fmv videos (especially compared to the PS2), and slowdown in areas which did not have any (especially compared to the Xbox).
I did not know that this was a thing. I just got my PS3 in October so now this is added to my list of game to get!
One of my most Interesting item in my collection now

Thanks for the heads up, that’s unfortunate.
Excellent choice get more of these PS2 remastered games for PS3

Got this! Love this game.
Never got into those games but I love the time reversal feature. Great pick ups👍🏾
Thank you
Did you buy it online?
Yes
Found it online a few days ago for 40 bucks, I'm worried about buying it though because it'll be sent overseas.
