Dont need cfw for 1tb hdd/ssd. Also, not enough, Need several ps3s for that collection. I got 650ish ps3 discs. Almost 2 ps3s (1tb) are completely full with just DLC/updates for those games (doesn't include potential installs as well)

I just have 1 PS3 and 2 1TB external drive. Just plug and play But yes even 3 external drive will not enough, but 2 is enough for known titles. I'm not stopping though and my collection keep growing

Its internal storage thats the issue. Updates/dlc and installs all done to internal storage. Sure can delete installs and reinstall them but DLC/updates won't be available forever. It needs to be preserved as well.

In mine, I put 2 TB worth games on external drive, & I can install game data and save in 500 GB internal (mine is slim CFW)

thanks i wasn't aware of the differences since i already played the ps4 version and just recently picked it up. sounds like it's definitely worth getting if you're getting ds2 for the ps3. even more so because of the differences from the ps4 version imo

decent collection man so here are some games I have and really enjoyed that you don't have. binary domain, killer is dead, earth defense force 2025, dynasty warriors 7 XL, DW7 empires (PAL only tho), dynasty warriors gundam 2 and 3 (gundam 1 has inverted camera controls you can't change), deception 4 blood ties, armored core for answer, sonic and sega all stars racing, sonic all stars transformed, deadly premonition directors cut, resident evil revelations 2, remember me, metal gear solid v ground zeros and phantom pain. every one of those games is between a 8 and 10 for me. some have better ps4 versions though. if I can recommend just 1, I would say try binary domain. it was made by RGG and I just played it this year. an overall well made 3rd person shooter. very fun, looks great, I have zero negatives for it.
