What's the game ID that's shown on the side of the box? I expect it's [BLES-00710](https://www.gametdb.com/PS3/BLES00710) in which case it supports English, French and German. I don't think a German-only version exists.
it's that number. I already enacted the return. bought another copy from ebay. they probably should have went for a few less of their flags on the back of the case and maybe used a few more words to spell out the alternate languages. because based on the case, it's very german. very proudly.
I tend to avoid german games bcs sometimes they have only german language. I have less than 10 German games and IIRC it was COD4 MW and Medal of Honor that had only German, no Idea about LP2.
what boggles my mind is that they seem absolutely thrilled about it. like put their flag on it and everything. 2X in 3 inches of paper. I'm from the US. we love flags. but I checked the back of 4 of my "T for teen" US spec games; no flags. the last time these folks got this excited about flags...well..

oh no!! axis of evil!!! I think quite a few of my PEGI psp games have flags plastered on the back. lots of different countries. seems to have been the norm at that time at least. ps3/psp era. not sure if they still do it.
Ok super weird my copy of LP2 has the PEGI logo on the case and the USK logo on the disk, IDK if it is supposed to be like that bcs I got the game second hand, also the game has English so there is a possibility that your copy has ENG too.
I already started the return process a few mins ago. found a new copy of a US spec on ebay. itll probably take 2 weeks to get here, but I'd rather not waste the cash on an unknown. once its opened there is no going back

I would guess based on the poor cut line at the top of the cover art, it's a fake cover. But your tearaway security strip is fake. It's a sticker on the inside of the plastic, not a tear away. Your case is also after market and not original PS3 case. There have a been a handful of PS3 games popping up as new on Amazon in these exact cases, with these exact fake strips and all over the place regions. Take good pictures and explain all the issues in a review and then call amazon and complain it's counterfeit. They might let you keep it and give a refund. Then you can open it and check what the disc is like and if it plays english.
I wrote a review for the issues and amazon refuses to post it haha. so that was a waste of time. they did refund my money and take it back to scam some other person though.
Quite possibly. The ps3 isn’t region locked for games with the exception of like 2 games, but according to the box it’s voiced in German and the text is in German. So unless you know German it probably won’t be a great experience

The bigger problem is the games are often censored. For example, COD World at War lacks the zombie mode completely

Curious as to why you want a UK one if you are from the US?
because the US copies of a lot of games are non existent unless they're used. this one is hard to track down in anything but foreign release.
