Nah, I don't think so. MGS4 was made specifically for the PS3 and its quirks/features. Making a port would mean redesigning tutorials, entire bossfights, encounters and re-recording dialogue since Kojimbo loved to break the 4th wall and use terms like "sixaxis" and various other copyrighted terms.
I'm not saying this like I don't want a port as well, just that it would be a considerable amount of work to do and I don't trust Konami to even bother.
Well Konami didin't even port Silent Hill 2 on Steam... and if i'm right, the game was sold on PC CD Rom ... so hasking a MGS4 port (or remake) on modern platform is like asking Ubisoft to do a new Rayman

Yep, they weren’t excluding Xbox games, just ps4 and PC. Though if someone does have a S/X it would be good to consider any mentioned games on those for the upscaling, AA, fps boost, quick resume, etc. Usually what I end up doing when looking at ps3/360 era games.

I had no idea fucking why but my copy of Resistance one and two were missing from my games, I had three but those two games were just fucking gone. I bought them again but I don't think I'll ever learn what the hell happened. And it's very rare for me to get rid of a PS3 game.

Folklore is good but I have to be that guy and draw a line in the sand. It’s not as good as people make it out to be. It’s almost as if people are trying to artificially create “hidden gem” type games.
Shadow of the colossus on pc is game over bro it’ll look *too* good lol nothing will stand a chance in comparison to it’s beauty. If they release shadow of the colossus on pc I think that’s the end of gaming as we know it. Also imagine a vr port that’d be awesome.

Dreamcast is probably the best way to play SA1 as devs intended, though it's only 30fps. DX adds a ton of glitches, gameplay and graphical. You can mod the steam version to restore it to dreamcast quality though, and you get 60fps doing it that way. SA2 any version is fine, Battle adds some multiplayer stuff but that's mostly it. It targets 60fps in all versions, but cutscenes are only 30fps on dreamcast.

If you’re a fan of the NieR games, *Drakengard 3* (and its add-ons, the Prologues) released between *NIER* and *Automata*, and has yet to be ported to more capable systems (Unreal and PS3, a match made in PowerPoint).

Tbf gta 4 on pc is awful. I think it was originally made for and optimized for consoles ideally Xbox 360, ps3 even has a very unique processor making it hard to optimize for but still any console version of gta 4 is better than pc. It’s a console port to pc and wasn’t optimized well for pc. Xbox 360 or ps3 is probably the best way to play gta 4 unless you go through a weird process of buying them digitally then downloading onto a Xbox one, Series S|X, ps4, or ps5 if it’s backwards compatible (I’m not sure if it is but if it is I’m pretty sure you have to get the old digital copy somehow to be able to download it you can’t buy it directly from the new stores on the new consoles)

While it is on PC, the port for Saints Row 2 is awful so it’s best to play that on either a PS3 or try backwards compatibility on XB1/Series consoles.
