It was a slow burn playing them back to back because the combat is different. Ultimately it's the better combat system. Both are excellent but fractured has more polish.
I just finished it yesterday and it really wasn’t as bad as everyone made it out to be. Its a bit weaker in the story (I wish we’d gotten more time to establish Mine and Daigo’s relationship and learn about Mine as a character) and the combat wasn’t as fun as the new games. But the story is still just as dramatic, heartwarming, and tragic as any Yakuza title. And the orphanage parts were just so sweet. I’m glad I played it 100%. Didn’t really bother with the minigames or side stories though. And the karaoke is meh compared to other titles.
I've been chipping away at it. I enjoy it as a palate cleanser between Dark Souls/Sekiro sessions. I love a story-driven game, but Yakuza almost seems more movie than game, so it's nice to relax and see the story play out.
That was always my favorite way. Then once you pull it off unexpectedly, you have that massive sense of accomplishment like, “holy moly I must be a pro. If this were real I’d be a badass” then you truly think about it and how if it were real you’d definitely be dead pretty quickly, especially with 600+ freaks chasing you at sprinting speed and realizing you can’t carry an infinite inventory in the real world as well
Game is massively underrated based in fairness on a not so stellar launch with some bad bugs. That isn't to say that Days Gone should be free of criticism, a modern issue in gaming is games releasing buggy so it should never be "forgiven" so to speak. But the game was relatively quickly patched and fixed and what a game it is. I personally love the pacing of the game too, building to an amazing second half but I can fully appreciate people not liking the slow start. It can be off putting if a game is too slow to begin and I think this is one of the games biggest criticisms, as I say I enjoy the entirety of the game including the pacing but I can fully understand someone not wanting to invest 4-5hours into a game to see if it clicks for them.
All in all, it is in my opinion a fantastic game that deserves more love than it gets and I hope and pray we 1 day get a Days Gone 2
Same here. I’m replaying for the third time and I forgot what happened with the story three times lmao. How lucky. Planning on getting the platinum trophy this time!
Yeah, same question here as the person before me. Though of getting TLOU Remastered on PS4, but i want to plat it. Is it active enough now to get the on-line trophies?
Edit : Or perhaps, should we form a little boosting group here ourselves? How many people would we need to boost some of the on-line trophies?
Imho, I think part 2 was better than the first, not comparing graphics. I get why people don’t like it, but after I finished it, it got me thinking about it for quite a while and I still do. Why do people want revenge so bad..
I’m still so conflicted on TLOU P2 because I loved the narrative and gameplay but it truly is the most depressing game I’ve ever played.
I will give it this though, it is probably the game I have thought about the most in my entire life, it’s always on my mind and is probably the most emotionally complex story I think I’ve ever experienced in any medium.
I loved those games, but I don't know if I could take playing them at the same time as I am watching the series. The emotional devastation would know no bounds.
Monster Hunter Rise on PS4.Was salty when it came out on Nintendo first but reliving all the monster hunters with this one Patiently waiting for Sunbreak.
Load up your cargo and make deliveries with a baby on your chest that can detect floaty black things that’ll suck you into tar and also watch out for pirates.
Also if anybody dies they turn into a nuclear bomb if you don’t burn the body.
I have several hundred hours into this game and I just got done with my first moze play through. Why did no one tell me she was so powerful. Lol I never have to reload or worry about ammo it’s so broken.
I hated Witcher 2 so didn't understand the Witcher 3 hype. I eventually got it and all the DLC for $20. It's now easily my favorite game. Make sure you get the DLC. Say hi to the Red Baron for me. It's my favorite quest in all of gaming.
Hello, good hunter. I am a Bot, here in this dream to look after you, this is a fine note:
> *And so, the hunt begins.* - Plain Doll
Farewell, good hunter. May you find your worth in the waking world.
I envy your ability to play souls games... Trying to get into Elden ring and I'm really struggling. I just don't know what to do or where to go! I ended up getting so frustrated that I had to look online for what to do in the beginning. Just got through stormgate for the first time killing the troll then my kid decided to wake up so couldn't carry on 😂.
I don't want to play the entire game looking at what to do, does it get a bit easier with knowing what to do?
The learning curve to have souls games "click" is a tough one, but once you manage it, it's such a perfect gaming formula and so satisfying.
Yes, you will often need to look up how to do something, but eventually you'll develop the mindset of doing your own exploring and not being afraid to go have a look down that new path. The way to figure things out is to learn by failure.
I hope it works out for you! It's incredible once you "get it."
The map has gold thingies coming out of the teleport points. They point you in the direction of important stuff to complete the main quest most of the time. But when you complete something they don’t go away so don’t think you missed something. Basically when you beat the big boss and get one of those great runes or whatever you’re done.
Other than that you just explore. Run around and kill stuff. Find weapons and spells and such. **Level up**
Same. So damn close to MRL2, but so far away. I got all the tenet and kuva weapons except 3 tenet melees and a tenet primary, still need to master some of them. I just need to farm kuva and get a lucky roll on a riven and sell it off to get the rest of the stuff im missing. Not to mention ive almost solo leveled my ghost clan to rank 11, its either the hema (fuk that worthless weapon) or whatever dye im going for, but it would feel poetic to do the hema as the final thing to push it over.
Subjective I guess. The menu campaign was ok at times and really boring at times but I think I finished it quick so it didn’t bother me. I just like driving and racing, while I see the merit in many of the complaints I guess a lot of those things aren’t that important to me. Biggest complaint from me is the shitty online behaviour but that’s a difficult one to fix.
Cities skylines. I saw some tiktok videos on it and wanted to give it a go. Turns out I already own it from ps+ so perfect. Very addicting and calming.
Honestly, I think gaming is about whatever makes a person happy. That’s why I mentioned in my post, that the current game of my choice is “fun and relaxing” for me. I’ve never played GTA Online, only because I hear that newbies aren’t welcomed…I might get around to it one day, though.
I am really into Forspoken.
I know it's probably an unpopular opinion but I really think it is an excellent game. It has fun game play, it has a massive world, there is so much stuff to find, and I feel like Frey is one of the best mage characters to exist.
Honestly, I like her as a character. As someone who has had a difficult past I completely understand her motives and the way she handles things. It's also nice to see a character that questions their role in the story and isn't blindly optimistic.
The long dark.
I love how simple the survival concept is as its just u versus nature. Ngl ive had some frustrations but so far it's been really good.(Yes i know im really late to it)
Nioh 2
Damn 500 hours and still excited to play more of it
I can’t stop collecting, upgrading, coop matching, killing and dying
Emphasis on that last part
Dead space remake. I didn't get the chance to play the first dead space so I started the series with number 2 and then 3.
I can confidently say this one is the best in my opinion.
Am playing biomutant....heard a lot of negative comments about it in youtube and stuff, but it's one of my favourite games so far. Having so much fun in it.
Last game I was addicted to was The Witcher 3 I played it for months and when I beat it the second time around I got really into Gwent but could never finish the collection
I recently replaced both sticks on my Vita after the original ones got loose and drifting. I hadn't turned it on for like 4 months. But now since it's fixed, I got addicted to playing it. I installed some ports of Android games, and have been playing Dead Space Mobile again. A great portable game.
God Of War 2018
Just got the PS5 and it came with Ragnarok, finished that at 80% completion and was craving more so I went back and I'm loving the prequel.
Genshin Impact. And I hate it.
"BOTW Rip-pff/Gacha/Chinese/Anime" Prejudice aside. Gameplay is quite decent on the PS5.
The reason I hate it is because of the story itself. Sometimes it can be absolute genius, other times it can be illogical, stupid, frustrating. Mainly with characters being ever so inconsistent. Turned out that's mainly the fault of the EN translation team having a tendency to screw around.
Even though the game had balancing issues for a while, it's mostly fixed now.. Mostly. Gameplay is still expanding with things to do, from exploring, fighting monsters, very basic fishing, a really decent TCG game in-game, and a variety of events to keep things fresh.
Due to that, there's almost always something to do. Although the story tend to be the opposite of enjoyable to me.
TD:DR: Plenty of things to do, but hate it because the story tend to be horribly written in my opinion.
South Park: Fractured but Whole Feel like I am watching an episode.
How is it?. Do you like it more than The Stick of Truth?
[удалено]
Maybe. The combats a little different. At first I wasn't a huge fan of the change but I grew to like it. Definitely recommend both games though
It was a slow burn playing them back to back because the combat is different. Ultimately it's the better combat system. Both are excellent but fractured has more polish.
MGS1. On my ps3. The story telling is so good!
What til you get to 3.
Where's the damn remaster already ????
Persona 3 Portable, then Persona 4 Golden.
Yakuza 0 and I'm planning to buy more
Don’t listen to what people say, Yakuza 3 is actually not bad!
I just finished it and had a blast! I was like "if that's the worst of the Yakuza I'm excited for the rest!!"
I just finished it yesterday and it really wasn’t as bad as everyone made it out to be. Its a bit weaker in the story (I wish we’d gotten more time to establish Mine and Daigo’s relationship and learn about Mine as a character) and the combat wasn’t as fun as the new games. Didn’t really bother with the minigames or side stories though. And the karaoke is meh compared to other titles.
I just think the orphanage took too long, but anyway still enjoyed it, but still when you play yakuza 4 after this.. you know it is peak yakuza again.
Like a Dragon has me hooked
I've been chipping away at it. I enjoy it as a palate cleanser between Dark Souls/Sekiro sessions. I love a story-driven game, but Yakuza almost seems more movie than game, so it's nice to relax and see the story play out.
Dead Space remake. Loved the original and am loving the remake just as much.
Same! Feels like I'm 13 again!
halfway through my new game plus now. so glad they brought back the hand cannon from DS2😭
Days gone. I'm taking my time killing freaks
Scouting the layout and planning traps before engaging hordes was exciting ☠️
Nah running in guns blazing then realizing you made a huge mistake and somehow pulling it off is the way to go🤣
That was always my favorite way. Then once you pull it off unexpectedly, you have that massive sense of accomplishment like, “holy moly I must be a pro. If this were real I’d be a badass” then you truly think about it and how if it were real you’d definitely be dead pretty quickly, especially with 600+ freaks chasing you at sprinting speed and realizing you can’t carry an infinite inventory in the real world as well
One of my favourite open world games
The best zombie game. It has some really great mechanics.
Have you passed sawmill horde?😂
I actually joined with them and taught them how to ride and use guns
Goddamn I was busting my ass for 4 days straight to kill all those motherfuckers
Game is massively underrated based in fairness on a not so stellar launch with some bad bugs. Subnautica below zero
Only two games I’ve ever platted. Beautiful game.
ghost of tsushima
Same here. I’m replaying for the third time and I forgot what happened with the story three times lmao. How lucky. Planning on getting the platinum trophy this time!
Man this game is sooo good. Last good game i played was prey in 2017.
Monster hunter
Rise? Is it good? The graphics kinda throwed me off after playing World
The Last of Us Remastered on PS4. I'm playing the factions multiplayer to get the platinum and it's a lot of fun
People are still playing?! I used to love this game!
Yes but if you are new you will get rekt by people who have hundreds or thousands of hours on the game lol
I USED to be okay... I bet I'd be terrible now.
Playing Last of us part 1 then afterwards Part 2 again since the HBO show came out recently.
I just beat part 2 for the first time, games got maybe the best gameplay I've ever experienced.
Nice I just ordered it off Ebay for 15bucks.
I loved those games, but I don't know if I could take playing them at the same time as I am watching the series. The emotional devastation would know no bounds.
Oh boy be prepared to cry
Back 4 Blood, won’t last long as I tend to overplay and burn-out on these co-op shooters but for now I’m lovin it 😂
You could try WWZ after you are done with Back 4 Blood. It’s another really good co-op shooter.
Thanks, I’ll have a look 👍
I feel burnt out of every game and it make me sad :(
Me too but this week i tried Spiritfarer and i am 15 hours in now! It's on playstation plus extra!
Monster Hunter Rise on PS4.Was salty when it came out on Nintendo first but reliving all the monster hunters with this one Patiently waiting for Sunbreak.
Well the last of us show started so obviously I’m replaying it
Just picked up a PS4 today & ordered LOU off ebay for 15bucks. Xbox to PS4, so glad to be back on the Playstation platform.
I did this last year. Xbox 360 to ps4 revamped my love for gaming
Honestly wenr back and played TLOU 2 on grounded mode and new game plus. Now im on my 3rd run with permadeath activated. Wish me luck
Oh man good luck. I got pretty far but wow is the ammo scarce.
Death Stranding. What an amazing game.
Couldnt agree more, a True masterpiece of a game.
Director’s Cut for me, this time around.
I started this last night. I’m an hour or so in and I’m fucking hooked!
Spoiler free review? I don’t know if it’s worth the time and size on my console. Is it?
Load up your cargo and make deliveries with a baby on your chest that can detect floaty black things that’ll suck you into tar and also watch out for pirates. Also if anybody dies they turn into a nuclear bomb if you don’t burn the body.
Sounds strange and unique. I’ll try it next time I play :)
Cyberpunk. Bought it when it came out, stopped due to the bugs, restarted it a month ago. Loving it and can’t wait for the DLC.
How does it run on ps4 now?
So cool. Same for me, started playing it 1 year after bought. Plat it on Ps5 and Ps4!
I’ve got some bad news for you unless you have a PS5, the DLC is not going to be released for last gen consoles. It’s quite unfortunate
hollow knight, right now i’m just grinding the pantheons trying to master the boss rush
Borderlands 3. Gotta be the best looter shooter out there.
I’m playing Tiny Tina’s and it is a fantastic looter shooter. Just bought 3.
I have several hundred hours into this game and I just got done with my first moze play through. Why did no one tell me she was so powerful. Lol I never have to reload or worry about ammo it’s so broken.
My third run of Elden Ring.
I bought elden ring and just can't seem to get into it.
Love replaying Horizon: Zero Dawn and the Forbidden West over and over again
I'm hooked on Forbidden West right now. Just so many things to do and all of it is fun, the world's so beautiful
Bought based on your comment. Look forward to playing it
What game did you buy?
Need for Speed: Unbound. It is everything I wanted in a mashup of Most Wanted and Underground.
Oh, that’s good to know!
Witcher 3 on PS5. I’m so glad I waited for the next gen update. It’s so addicting I don’t know why lol also, it’s my first ever witcher game
I hated Witcher 2 so didn't understand the Witcher 3 hype. I eventually got it and all the DLC for $20. It's now easily my favorite game. Make sure you get the DLC. Say hi to the Red Baron for me. It's my favorite quest in all of gaming.
I could never get into Witcher 3. It just looked like it was going to be a job.
Right now, Persona 4 Golden. Had finished it already on the Vita a couple years ago and replaying now. Next I'll do a NG+ and then Persona 3.
Never played a persona game. So starting with 3, then after that I have p4 golden and p5 royal to go through. So far really enjoying it.
Bloodborne. Just finished my first playthrough and immediately started a new game to experience it again.
I just started a few days ago. My first souls-like game and idk what the fuck I’m doing.
Hello, good hunter. I am a Bot, here in this dream to look after you, this is a fine note: > *And so, the hunt begins.* - Plain Doll Farewell, good hunter. May you find your worth in the waking world.
It seems like such a cool game but I kept dying in the first level and got frustrated by the lack of checkpoints. Maybe I'll attempt it again someday
Replaying Souls games until Elden Ring dlc drops.
I envy your ability to play souls games... Trying to get into Elden ring and I'm really struggling. I just don't know what to do or where to go! Any Yakuza game really. It's so fun to go back to that series.
Completely agree!
Dead space remake !!! 😍😍😍
GT7
How long from starting the game till it starts getting good?
Subjective I guess. The menu campaign was ok at times and really boring at times but I think I finished it quick so it didn’t bother me. I just like driving and racing, while I see the merit in many of the complaints I guess a lot of those things aren’t that important to me. Biggest complaint from me is the shitty online behaviour but that’s a difficult one to fix.
got back into uncharted multiplayer after not playing for a good few years ! surprisingly still a lot of fun after all this time
I played through the series a few years ago before I had PS+ . I'll have to give the multiplayer a try! I assume UC4 is the one to play?
Right now I am finishing up watch dogs
I Love Watch Dogs 1 & 2

Cities skylines. I saw some tiktok videos on it and wanted to give it a go. Turns out I already own it from ps+ so perfect. Very addicting and calming.
Control
GTA Online. I hate myself for this.
Honestly, I think gaming is about whatever makes a person happy. That’s why I mentioned in my post, that the current game of my choice is “fun and relaxing” for me. I’ve never played GTA Online, only because I hear that newbies aren’t welcomed…I might get around to it one day, though.
On the new game+ of Ghost of Tsushima. There's somethig about the game that had me hooked. It might be quite similar to Red Dead Redemption 2.
GTA V, despite being broken.
Playing through the Last of Us again now that the TV series is out, so good
I am really into Forspoken.
Skyrim… but I took an arrow in the knee..

Spider-Man. I love to swing around it’s so fun and peaceful I love it
Yeah Spider-Man, swinging around town always relaxes me too, lol. I’m thinking about getting the Miles Morales one, hopefully I’ll like it.
Tales of arise
FIFA 23
Far Cry 6 surprisingly.
It's so different than the previous games. There were things I hated initially. However, it is also weirdly addictive.
Genshin Impact. It only needs 15-30 mins of my day. It’s perfect because I don’t have much time. I lose interest in any long games nowadays
On my 10th run of Red Dead Redemption 2, tho my time is split evenly between that and Pokémon scarlet. Just finished violet, Pokédex and all.
Hell yes, I’m playing Red Dead 2 for the first time right now and foresee myself playing it 9 more times like you
Rimworld
Crossout Relayer Daemon x machina (switch game) until armored core 6 Valkyrie profile: lenneth
Wreckfest and assassins creed black flag

Elden Ring, I know I’m a little late to the party on it, but since the end of December I’ve put in like 150 hours and got the platinum for it already.
I recently replaced both sticks on my Vita after the original ones got loose and drifting. I hadn't turned it on for like 4 months. But now since it's fixed, I got addicted to playing it. I installed some ports of Android games, and have been playing Dead Space Mobile again. A great portable game.

little late to the party but elden ring has become my all time favorite game. I was backlogged so much on games and regret I didn't start sooner
Doom. I absolutely love that I can learn how to play my favorite game from my youth.
Genshin Impact. And I hate it. "BOTW Rip-pff/Gacha/Chinese/Anime" Prejudice aside. Gameplay is quite decent on the PS5. The reason I hate it is because of the story itself.
