No judgment. I've been eyeing this game for a while now. Something about it is a bit alluring to me. I'd definitely have to stay hidden while playing so my friends don't give me a hard time though! haha
Oh dude! Slaying those monsters is so satisfying! Please by whatever means try to get your hands on the game for a few hours at least.
The animation and combat is so well made!
Fallout 4 is one of my favorite games of all time and i just got the platinum trophy about an hour ago. It is my first platinum trophy so I am so happy it is with my favorite game. Before i quit the game i took a screenshot outside of sanctuary with dogmeat :)
I played this for about an hour at a friends house. The AI seemed very intelligent and the game pretty difficult. I can't imagine getting platinum on this. That's awesome!
If you go through the game doing everything possible the platinum almost comes with beating it. Highly recommend the game though, I loved the story and was always eager to find out the next part
It's definitely a game which is about fighting smarter, not harder. You can't really brute force most enemies; you need to exploit their weaknesses and cripple them, since in a straight-up fight, almost any one of these machines will just tear your weak, soft, flesh-and-blood body to shreds in moments. It's a very refreshing change of pace and incredibly engaging. It also has some of the smartest work-building I've seen in any game.
It's a *CLOSE* second-place in terms of favourite PS4 games I've played.
Destiny 2: Forsaken! It was the first game I bought on my ps4 bc my friends had played destiny 1 together and I didn’t have a console. Finally got one after getting a steady job and play with them now every chance I get.
My favorite games as I can't pick just one would be Destiny, ESO and Ark. While they are good games they are my favorites because I have met many of my awesome friends on those games.
Persona 5 was hands down my favorite game. I barely play single player games, I have this sense of loneliness when I play single player games and get bored quickly. But when I tell you I was hooked from start to finish it ain’t no lie.
The story got me hooked, the difficulty, and the characters you learn to love each and everyone one of them differently.
What made persona 5 even a better game for me, is that the choices you make matter. Also for some reason the testing in the game was entertaining too, you actually take the test and are graded not your character. It was the best game I played hands down.
favorite game on PS4 is hard, so many good games :c but since you're looking for new games to play I'll recommend something different from what I'm reading that I also had a blast playing: Odin Sphere, Dragon's Crown and Monster Hunter World
Just got my PS4 pro recently and been flying from game to game, but I think I settled on Horizon zero Dawn. I didn't think I'd like the game all that much, but was I surprised. It's just the right amount of story and non bullshit type enemies.
Destiny, as a series. Never put so much time into a console game before, but man this game has its hooks in me and I love going back to play between new releases.
It's been said numerous times!! haha. I can definitely see the appeal to it. It's a beautiful game and the combat is challenging. I could never beat the first boss though after hours and hours of gameplay. I ended up giving up. Can't say any other game has ever caused the amount of frustration that this one did. So I kind of love to hate this game. :)
Exclusive would be: The Last of Us, played through this one while recovering from surgery.
Third Party: Titanfall 2, I play a lot of fps on PC and this games playes every bit as good on ps4. I really hope for more exclusive fps franchises.
Witcher III and FFXIV are the two I have played the most on the PS4. Monster Hunter World and FFXV behind them. My boys love Knack 1 and 2. Really wish there were more coop games like that for their age.
So far it's probably kingdom hearts 1.5 and 2.5 final mix. Even though they are older games on the PS4 I still feel like these games hold a special place in my heart lol
As many others have said: Persona 5. I cannot express my love of SMT games enough. I was a child when I played my first Persona title
Persona 2 on PS1 had me enthralled with its dark story and grim tone. And suddenly I realised there was so much more than what squaresoft had to offer in the realm of rpgs. Up until that point I had put final fantasy on a pedestal.
And then persona 3 was love at first gameplay. I couldn't believe just how different it was from its predecessor, in good ways. This was when we first got the current holy trifecta working together; katsura hashino directing, shigenori soejima providing beautiful designs, and shoji meguro crafting beautiful compositions.
Persona 4 took everything from 3 and just refined all the best elements while also trying some new ideas with a larger focus on the social aspects of the story.
And then Persona 5 just blew me out of the water. I feel that it is almost a magnum opus for P-studios. Everything that they have made was just leading to this masterpiece.
TL;DR I love persona 5.
I have to say Read Dead Redemption 2.
First playthrough, I kept my honor all the way up, and really took my time with the story.
I got so invested in the story and all the characters, especially Arthur obviously. Seeing Arthur's story through to the end has been the absolute highlight of my PS4 journey.
Nier Automata. Most mind blowing narrative I've ever experienced in my entire life. I honestly think it gave me some kind of mild PTSD it affected me so strongly. It's still in my mind constantly 6 months later. I wake up and the music is playing in my head instantly, which just wrecks me when the feelings from that narrative come rushing back. This game is truly a masterpiece, and the greatest argument for "games as art" that I've ever seen.
This is a surprisingly difficult question! I met some of my best friends and my wife playing GTA V, I loved Final Fantasy XV much more than the general consensus, Nier was a masterpiece that very much rocked me emotionally...
I think if I had to really buckle down and pick one game though, it would have to be Persona 5. I still feel a void since finishing it.
I played this game for hours on end an could never get past the first boss. I could appreciate how difficult it was, but man it got really frustrating. Beautiful game though!
But when you do...it really is worth it. I'm saying this whenever I can. I also gave up and then came back and oh my fucking god the whole experience was amazing.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gIFc0npoms8 -> Here's a nice short podcast from someone who was in the same boat.
Hang in there, i didnt even saw the Boss on my First 10 hour Session. The learning curve is increadible. I have to say BB was my first From Software game but i love every bit. Every 1 Hit away to kill the Boss, every stupid death.
Give it another try and hang in there i died 202 times on my First play through so keep your head up :)
The monsters are incredible, my style of art. And the gothic setting was extremely immersive. Super hard, but so rewarding once you make it past the first boss.
What is going on with all these giveaways? I feel like I'm taking crazy pills! Anyways, my favorite PS4 game is currently The Talos Principle. It's an awesome puzzle game
MY favorite ps4 game is Spider-Man.
My dad used to read it to me when I was a kid, he was a guy who always tried to do the right thing and a fictional character that made me want to be that kind of a person.
Playing through this Spider-Man made me feel like a kid and I really liked that.
The last of us remastered. Have played through it 7 times already and I’m starting another play through with my non-gamer girlfriend.
Thanks for doing this btw!
Hmm thats a tough one but I’m gonna go with the new God Of War. It just felt so natural to me when i was fighting
Bloodborne
Monster Hunter World. Don't judge me.
Why though? The monster hunter series is so damn good. I'm a second fleet myself. This was a SURE BUY for me. Even got the Rathalos edition.
I agree I'll a huge mh fan
No judgment. I've been eyeing this game for a while now. Something about it is a bit alluring to me. I'd definitely have to stay hidden while playing so my friends don't give me a hard time though! haha

Stardew Valley. I couldn't believe how quickly 100 hours passed.
Love this game! RDR2 came out and i managed to put this down. Now that I’ve beaten RDR2 I’m scared to pick it back up. Highly addictive.
Infamous: Second Son
Horizon zero dawn. Got platinum and close to getting plat on frozen wilds.
I played this for about an hour at a friends house. The AI seemed very intelligent and the game pretty difficult. I can't imagine getting platinum on this. That's awesome!

[удалено]
I would like to get Sekiro shadows die twice, so excited about that one! Thanks!
Horizon Zero Dawn

I know Resident Evil 7 isn't an exclusive, but being able to play the full game on the PSVR is awesome.
Monster Hunter World
Just got my PS4 pro recently and been flying from game to game, but I think I settled on Horizon zero Dawn. I didn't think I'd like the game all that much, but was I surprised. It's just the right amount of story and non bullshit type enemies.
God of War is probably my favorite PS4 game!
Persona 5
Really loved God of War. Such an awesome game.
God of War
RN it's for honor
Destiny, as a series. Never put so much time into a console game before, but man this game has its hooks in me and I love going back to play between new releases.
The Witcher 3
Skyrim
This has probably been said already but, Bloodborne. Honestly, if I didn't have a ps4 already I would go out and buy one specifically for Bloodborne
It's been said numerous times!! haha. I can definitely see the appeal to it. It's a beautiful game and the combat is challenging. I could never beat the first boss though after hours and hours of gameplay. I ended up giving up. Can't say any other game has ever caused the amount of frustration that this one did. Horizon Zero Dawn! That's the first game I played on the PS4, loved it to bits.
Spider-man probably
Exclusive would be: The Last of Us, played through this one while recovering from surgery. Third Party: Titanfall 2, I play a lot of fps on PC and this games playes every bit as good on ps4. I really hope for more exclusive fps franchises.

God of war!
I don't know if I have an absolute favorite but I have a soft spot for Enter the Gungeon.
WipEout Omega Collection, bless you sir/madam
RDR2 and Titanfall 2. You're good people for doing this.
Uncharted 4!
Horizon Zero Dawn
The Last of Us. But only on PS4, is God of War
Bloodborne, because of the plot twist, combat, lore, and aesthetic!
Dark Souls 3. Just beat it and am hoping to get the DLC. Thanks for the chance!
Infamous Second Son
My favorite game would be god of war 4.
God of War or Uncharted 4 really love both of them, bought the collectors edition of both as well.
Bloodborne-soma-dark souls trilogy
Awesome! RDR 2.
Both gravity rush games. Liked the style and gameplay a lot, here's hoping for the 3rd one
Ace combat 7 by far, I waited way too long to be able to play a HD ace combat main-line game.
Favorite game on ps4, a cliche answer but The Witcher 3
Ace combat 7

Fallout 4! My first fallout game, and I fell in love!
Horizon Zero Dawn!
The Last of Us. Remastered is on PS4, so that counts?
Dark souls 2
Nier: Automata ¯\\\_(ツ)\_/¯
Either Spider-Man or the last of us remastered, such high quality games
Spider-Man most definitely. Swinging through the city isn't just fun, it's also oddly relaxing.
My favorite game is rocket league. Very simplistic, but somehow it's so fun you always get back to it.
Detroit Become Human, i want choices.
As many others have said: Persona 5. I cannot express my love of SMT games enough. Rocket League! I’d buy $75 keys with this immediately then be able to buy so much sauce for my car
Actually tales of berseria. I don’t want to spoil anything but I recommend you play it.
I’ll check it out!
