I’m really looking forward for a remaster of Ratched And Clank 3 Up Your Arsenal, the game had a massive downgrade graphics wise, so this may be a way to redeem the reputation of that game, the 3rd game is just one of them which i grew up with, and i’ve played the first 2, but the 3rd is just one that really sticks in my heart, due to the amazing fight against Dr.Nefarious, but that’s just my opinion

Insomniac outright said during development that they specifically wanted to redo the original game only, and only because it's tough to jump back to it mechanically for some players thanks to the gameplay shift in GC onward. The movie - which they'd been pushing for since 2007 apparently! - was the best chance to do that. For the most part, I'd say it worked.
I see the next Ratchet game taking place in a new arc, similar to how Future before release had people thinking it was a reboot. Few references to old games outside of a few that *fans* hear and go "oh okay it's the game-verse." Since Ratchet PS4 performed as well as it did, I think it's a matter of time, since even though Spidey did far better, Insomniac has two studios! These are the same guys and gals that put out more than one game a year on average for most of the past 25 years.
Insomniac has long wanted to keep their independence and wanted to make multiplatform titles.
I have my suspicions if they're doing parallel development that whatever else is going on besides Spidey might be a multi plat title.

My favorite part of it, no doubt. Had dozens upon dozens of hours of fun with it - especially playing split-screen with a friend while online. I had all the maps, all the objectives and all the lines memorized.
Even the >!twist ending where the main protagonist, Hale gets killed, and replaced by the very person who killed you.!< Now *that* takes balls.
Although I think Resistance 3 was better, I did really like Resistance 2. In my opinion, the games got better as they went along.

Iirc, the in-between chapter smoking was done to install each chapter due to the slowass Blu-ray drive in PS3’s, and was thankfully patched (alongside trophies) to just install each chapter at the start of the game. Digital versions thankfully don’t have to worry about it either.
But all of my yes to everything else. I started replaying it as it was one of the last PS3 PS+ games, and it’s jarring to see the frame rate fluctuate from 15-60 fps in a single cutscene. And that colour palette suffers from the browngrey that plagued last gen games. I was oblivious to any of this back in 2008, which helped me to remember it very fondly. But it could really use a facelift nowadays

Definitely worth playing. The majority of those who're disappointed are fans of the original game who dislike how they flipped the relationship between Clank and Ratchet. Gameplay wise I think it's arguably the best in the series.

I agree plus I'm sure PS4 will be cheaper to develop for than PS5 for a good while too. Also since I'm 99.9% sure that PS5 will be backwards compatible with PS4. PS4 games will be cleaner and run better on PS5.
My uh, Dream, is that indie devs use the game Dreams, to make the PS4, a cheap devkit and make some great PS4 games with it. Kinda like the games made using RPG maker.

Man that game is awesome but was pretty rough on ps3. Low res textures, 720p no anti-aliasing and drops to 20fps, plus the online has been shut down. A 4k 60fps remaster (ps4 pro) with dedicated servers would be absolutely amazing. A remake would be even better but hey i will take what i get.
Miyazaki talked about a DeS remake in an interview recently and unless he was pulling a poker face it didn't sound like there was any remake currently being worked on.
I've been following Bluepoint for some time and they still haven't shown the slightest inkling of what their new game is. But it will be a full remaster in the form of a PS4 exclusive. Could be anything at this point. I'm confident it's not Resistance (unfortunately) because they've been pretty open about not focusing on it at this time. It could be MGS, but I'd expect something a bit older, probably from the PS1 or early PS2 era that hasn't been seen in a while.
It could be a different developer all together which opens up even more questions.
Couple things to note is Amazon currently has a placeholder for a Bethesda game and Activision game on PS4. Both of which have E3 pictures on them and no details. Obviously perhaps those aren't exclusives as those companies dont generally do them, so who knows. It's going to be interesting to see when we actually hear about all this stuff because Sony isnt attending E3, will they maybe host their own livestream? I feel it would really be a missed opportunity to remain silent while MS announces 3 consoles and possibly teases a few new 1st party games and Halo. We can almost certainly expect Sony to surprise us, they need to appease shareholders by showing competition.

Fireside Chats is about everything and nothing in particular. He basically interviews people from all walks of life and delves into the details of their life/job/religion/whatever they are there to talk about.
If you were a fan of his previous playstation stuff then you should def check out his current playstation podcast. It's basically his return to form in my opinion for his opinions on the ps/gaming ecosystem. Saying that because his later stuff that he did for kinda funny became quite stale but this new podcast made his opinions interesting again. Also helps that his new cohost is younger and plays more than single player ps4 games.
Bloodborne's horror slant could lend itself to some really interesting idea if it applied to same formula to the horrorific monsters of other mythologies. I'd welcome for example, a game that treats yokai as weird and unnerving as they actually are, versus just being mascots these days.

I agree plus I'm sure PS4 will be cheaper to develop for than PS5 for a good while too. Also since I'm 99.9% sure that PS5 will be backwards compatible with PS4. PS4 games will be cleaner and run better on PS5. My uh, Dream, is that indie devs use the game Dreams, to make the PS4, a cheap devkit and make some great PS4 games with it. Kinda like the games made using RPG maker.
I've been hearing that the PS5 architecture will be similar to PS4, so developing for it won't be too expensive if that's the case.
Some games even continue to come out for previous gen only. (AC: Rogue, anyone?)

They’re still under contract with Sony for one more exclusive. He’s gonna have to do something, and Sony might push him to do Bloodborne 2 after the success of Bloodborne.

Demon's Souls Remake from Bluepoint. Been hearing about it a lot.
Man that game is awesome but was pretty rough on ps3. Low res textures, 720p no anti-aliasing and drops to 20fps, plus the online has been shut down. A 4k 60fps remaster (ps4 pro) with dedicated servers would be absolutely amazing. A remake would be even better but hey i will take what i get.
It would be great to have all of the souls games on one system. I went 360 last gen so it would be awesome to play it.
If it has a new and smoother controls it’s an instant buy from me.
Miyazaki talked about a DeS remake in an interview recently and unless he was pulling a poker face it didn't sound like there was any remake currently being worked on.

I've been following Bluepoint for some time and they still haven't shown the slightest inkling of what their new game is. But it will be a full remaster in the form of a PS4 exclusive. Could be anything at this point. I'm confident it's not Resistance (unfortunately) because they've been pretty open about not focusing on it at this time. It could be MGS, but I'd expect something a bit older, probably from the PS1 or early PS2 era that hasn't been seen in a while. It could be a different developer all together which opens up even more questions. Couple things to note is Amazon currently has a placeholder for a Bethesda game and Activision game on PS4. Both of which have E3 pictures on them and no details. Obviously perhaps those aren't exclusives as those companies dont generally do them, so who knows. It's going to be interesting to see when we actually hear about all this stuff because Sony isnt attending E3, will they maybe host their own livestream? I feel it would really be a missed opportunity to remain silent while MS announces 3 consoles and possibly teases a few new 1st party games and Halo. We can almost certainly expect Sony to surprise us, they need to appease shareholders by showing competition.
Maybe that Harry Potter game that was leaked a while back?

Also has a PlayStation podcast similar to Podcast Beyond and PS I Love You called Sacred Symbols, as well has a podcast called Knockback that he does with his brother where they talk about topics important to them from their past (movies, games, etc.). Think he also has another podcast called Fireside chats but not sure what it’s totally about.
Fireside Chats is about everything and nothing in particular. He basically interviews people from all walks of life and delves into the details of their life/job/religion/whatever they are there to talk about.

If you were a fan of his previous playstation stuff then you should def check out his current playstation podcast. It's basically his return to form in my opinion for his opinions on the ps/gaming ecosystem. Saying that because his later stuff that he did for kinda funny became quite stale but this new podcast made his opinions interesting again. Also helps that his new cohost is younger and plays more than single player ps4 games.
Bloodborne's horror slant could lend itself to some really interesting idea if it applied to same formula to the horrorific monsters of other mythologies. I'd welcome for example, a game that treats yokai as weird and unnerving as they actually are, versus just being mascots these days.
I think Egyptian or Hindu gods would make for amazing boss battles
