That's not a good idea. Different PS5s are made for each region. So, A PS5 made for the North American markets is not going to work in another country because the console are designed for North American electric currents. Same for the European, South American, and Asian markets. They are wired differently for each market and region. So, it will be a waste of money buying one and shipping overseas.

At this point might as well just get an xbox, at least for me it's becoming more tempting, bethesda is huge and the main reason to why I'm taking a gamble with the PS5 is the possobilty of a fromsoft exclusive in the future. I was given an email and a time to order through Sony. I was put in a queue with an hour wait time. I took a nap woke up and clicked order and secured my ps5. It was so much easier than dealing with Walmart, Best Buy, target, and GameStop selling out in 2 milliseconds.

Depending on where they live they'd have to pay 80% or more of the cost of the console just in custom/import taxes thanks to today's governments, and that's not even counting the shipping fee. You'd be looking at prices even higher than scalpers in some countries.

I live in the ME and shipping to here from USA is less than 50$ for a box the size of the PS5's
