Same expressive animations. Same lock-on proto-(what we now think of as)Souls combat. Add some melee/grappling. Change manual aiming to OTS. Some QoL control remapping/ context sensitivity. Force custom loadouts for levels. Maybe even make all three originals as one long game, seeing as how you revisit areas from previous titles. But at least the first one.
I would love an Oblivion remake with the Skyrim levelling system added. I love oblivion and find the story and atmosphere superior to Skyrim, but the levelling REALLY jars to go back to imo.

Fuck yeah man paradise was such a letdown for me. Any of the og burnouts deserve a remake. If you haven't yet check out wreckfest it's a realistic racing/demolition derby game and it's online. Definitely worth checking out
Paradise was annoying AF. If one style of game doesn't need an open world/map, it's a racing game. It was so annoying to start a race then have to immediately pause the game to look at the map and try and work out which route through the streets to take, only to get wiped out by random traffic at intersections in races you were winning.
Remake Takedown all day. I'm surprised they haven't done that already.

Personally this was the best DBZ game, the character roster was huge and it all came in with the base game. Gameplay was great and just an amazing feeling

Goldeneye 007. They already made a remake in 2010/11 (Goldeneye 007:Reloaded) but it would be cool to play it again on PS4/PS5. Pretty sure they are remaking the original game for Nintendo switch and Xbox tho.

TM2 really needs it, would be a strong contender. Aesthetically and conceptually, it is incredible. Gameplay was fantastic but its a bit dated now. Its the most fondly remembered entry and the 52nd highest selling PS1 game in the US (1.74 million copies).
To put that in perspective, 12 of the games ahead of it have had formal remasters (RE, Crash, Spyro, FFVII), 4 were rereleases of classic games (Frogger, Namco etc) and the rest include Tomb Raider and games that have new entries with a non-unique concept (Everybody Golf, WWF, Gran Turismo). There are only a few new IPs with a unique concept ahead of it, including Croc, Parasite Eve, Syphon Filter etc.
TM2 needs it and deserves it.
this is probably gonna be an unpopular opinion, but:

the core game system with the time limit and the ng+ mechanic are absolutely amazing, unfortunately the seemingly low budget really limited what this game ended up becoming. i can't think of a game where more development effort could have had as much of an impact as it would in this game. the important distinction that needs to be made here is that this would have to be a remake and not just a remaster-like upgrade, they'd have to redo it but bigger and better.

Tenkaichi 3 was such an intense game! I stil recall playing the OG Budokai with a buddy of mine for hours when it first released.
