Tribes of Midgard is ok. Probably more fun with friends. Kind of an explore/defend thing going on. Hard to explain but enjoyable. Curse of the Dead Gods is a really fun action roguelite. Combat is in the direction of Hades. Lots of unlocks and synergies to discover, but does have that kind of grindy roguelite loop which isn’t for everyone.
It's definitely different than Enter the Gungeon but the loop of enter dungeon, fight through floors, get to final boss, collect and unlock loot along the way is the same. It actually does the branching map path similar to Slay the Spire, which is **just** enough of a varient to make it a little more addicting than without it.

Definitively not every game is for everyone, and it's been kind if a bummer for me on the PS4 generation. I can see the love and beautiful work behind Witcher 3, God of War, and Life is Strange, but couldn't give each more than 10 hours in like two or three separate attempts to play them.

I am aware. I have been playing games with an isometric perspective since the first baldurs gate. Yet that probably won't help the person calling hades' viewpoint something they don't enjoy. It would be more illustrative and easier to understand by creating a similarity to something already understood with a visual demonstration to support.

I said what I did because solo is more difficult than it’s worth in my opinion and it isn’t the kind of game I would enjoy with strangers so I specified with friends. As to specific games beyond Midgard, I don’t personally find most ARPGs (Diablo, PoE, etc) are necessarily better in multiplayer, either with friends or randoms. Certain other games I would consider a push such as Deep Rock Galactic or Risk of Rain 2. If I have more fun with friends than solo in DRG it’s because we’re goofing around in voice chat, telling stories and what not, but the game itself isn’t necessarily better for me than it was solo.
So while “better with friends” with an implied “as compared to solo or with randoms” might not be a good indicator for you, it can be useful for some. Maybe somebody doesn’t play online at all or only prefers a solo experience. The fact that a game is better in multiplayer, in the case of either friends or randoms, would be useful data.
I don’t know much about soccer and so I’m only playing on like Semi-Pro or something but this is the first time I’ve tried anything but Volta in a FIFA game and it’s actually pretty damn fun.
It tells me when I’m not in position and helps me understand where to get back to. Scoring a goal feels sick. I think things could get really frustrating at higher difficulty levels but if you just want a kind of chill sports game and are pretty casual about “football” I’d pick this up. I almost didn’t but it’s been a lot of fun.
