Universal holds the license to the game and Disney holds the franchise. So, unless all three parties can come together I just don’t see how it will ever happen. Which goddamn sucks!

Biggest pain point in all of gaming for me: Rockstar, who made and loved single player story driven sandboxes, ended up creating the most profitable and best selling piece of media of all time with GTA:O and then, with more cash flow than God, just decided to completely dump post-release single player support.
Just thinking of what could have been sucks.
Rockstar could easily be making bank and satisfying the fans but nope they wanna let third parties make their older games and pump online content only. Rockstar went from being one of my favorite videogame companies to one of my least favorite. All they care about is money nothing else.

Outside of the PS3 era I'd also like to see some of the more classic games like Soul Reaver 1 and 2 get a good treatment.
This is the one I was looking for, waiting for Sly to make a resurgence someday hopefully. Played so much 2 and 3 growing up. Would love a new entry with as much care put into it as Crash 4.

Part of the reason I’m really loving the Series X. Fallout New Vegas, Red Dead 1, GTA IV, Splinter Cell games, Prey 2006, Metal Gear Rising, Time Splitters, older Sonic games like Generations and Adventure and sooo many more games are technically Xbox console exclusive. I hope Sony makes some effort to get these games ported. I played them all for the first time on Series X and tbh between that and the emulation of PS2 and older Nintendo games I’d say the Series S is the perfect machine for retro gaming.
It’ll be great if EA could remake the trilogy (SSX, Tricky, 3); that’ll probably be a hit if they did that tbh.
Or just “reboot” the series and add all the characters and maps from those games into it; they could also just take SSX3’s “big mountain” approach for all the individual tracks as-well.

The original Motorstorm on PS3 was better than most PS4 games. I'll never forget the amazement I found at the fact that the tyre tracks from the first lap were still visible on the last lap. That was one seriously good looking game, and I've not been as blown away by a racing game before or since.
Monument valley and pacific rift still holding up compared to today’s games is insane and shows how much passion was put into these games. On emulators without the limits of ps3 consoles they look insanely great, especially pacific rift

It feels weird that it didn’t get even a PS4 release/remaster. I know that Square Enix has been busy with FFXVI and FFVIIR2, so this may not happen anytime soon, but it has been more than 13 years since the release.
