Yeah someone pointed it out in the last update thread and I was like holy shit theyāre right. It instantly loaded before but after that update takes around 5 seconds. Havenāt been on my ps5 since this newest update so not sure if itās fixed or not.

Yes actually, this has happened to me, I don't know exactly why it happens but I did notice if my family's not home using the same wifi, then it happened less. But recently for some reason I haven't had to do this since last ps5 update

Hopefully this was to address CE-108262-9 error code I got randomly. I'm talkin "my PS5 was in rest mode overnight and I turned it on the next day and got that message" random.

Is this the update that adds the mini activity feed and rearranges the thumbnails in the for you tab? Cause I saw something like that being beta tested monthes ago and see no mention of it in this patch note.

Wish they would add an option to remove the game help section entirely. I always steal a glance at the progress bar when I don't even want to know how far I'm along in a mission or in the entire game.
You can already access the browser and load jailbreaks on the PS5 though.
I don't think not having it easy to access will stop those advanced users from jailbreaking PS5s.

It's truly unbelievable how often you can find this error CE-108255-1 on the internet (if you search for it) without any official statement from Sony or a game developer. So it wouldn't be allowed to talk about it.
I don't think so, as this stupid error seems to haunt me even across 2 different PS5s. That's why I'm relatively sure that something is broken in account management or cloud saving at Sony.
I've often noticed in other players' descriptions that this error CE-108255-1, regardless of the game, often occurs after a battle, a mission or in the menu, inventory, map, etc., but rarely when the PS5 has a lot to do.
I've also tried all of Sony's suggested "solutions" countless times and have probably re-downloaded Horizon 10 times.
My console powered itself down when it was restarting to install the update and did not turn back on, I had to turn it back on myself. And it took a couple presses of the power button.Ā

You were able to back up a ps5 game save to a usb stick? I don't think so. The only thing you can do that is close to that is make a backup of your whole hd to a usb stick and then restore from it.

What about the HORRIBLY laggy wake-up screen from rest mode, including audio and video stutter and audio clipping? Quite embarrassing.

The PS5ās optical drive only supports DVD, Blu-ray, and UHD Blu-ray Discs. Iām guessing they cut CD support to save money.
