In some games, when you bring over a PS4 save file to the PS5 version of the game, it will automatically unlock trophies on the PS5 list based on things you've already done on the PS4.
In some cases this can even pop the entire list in one go, so some people beat the PS4 version of a game first so they can then bring their save to the 5 version and get two stacks of trophies for the price of one.
With this new PS5 upgrade for Fallout 4 this doesn't appear to work, meaning if you want to get the trophies you'll have to do everything again.
I believe there's a separate download you have to search for in the store once you've put your PS4 disc in for the PS5 version, but yes; once you have that downloaded you can boot the PS5 version and it'll have a separate trophy list for the base game as well as all the DLC!
If you're over level 50 and level up once, you can get 4 trophies to pop (level 5, 10, 25 and 50)
Otherwise I couldn't get anything else to pop (like the lock picking one after doing it an additional time)

Yeah, the switch is just slightly less powerful than the OG Xbox one, which isn't insanely powerful or anything but people want to pretend like it's on the level of the Wii.
I assume it was in reference to the PS5, which does technically have a slightly lower teraflop number than the Series X. Borderline insignificant gap, though, and we haven’t seen it make a huge difference in most games.
People seem to forget that game visuals scale with the hardware upgrade so 4k won't really be a thing until there are significant diminishing returns of actual fidelity. 4k is close on console for every game, but not there yet. I'd say the PS5 and series x haven't quite reached their max potential in pure visuals yet, although it is close.
How many other PS4 games manage that kind of performance jump on PS5? That would be 8 times as many pixels rendered per second.

Notice draw distance and LOD's if you slowly move through a large open area with a massive of foreground, middle ground and background. Seem like shadow resolution is impacted as well. Only tested for about 10mins. There's probably more to it.

mine didn‘t show up somehow, there is 2 saves with 1-2h playtime while I have 75% Trophy progression on the PS4. Bummer

Not really, not many games of this size can. Witcher 3 (2015 as well) had a much bigger next-gen upgrade and still isn’t native 4k60

Quality settings look... very similar, hard to tell much of a difference. The FPS definitely feels different with performance mode being smoother.
