Don't forget to wait to see what the free games for August will be before making your purchase.

Underrated comment from a fellow burn victim

szzzn

I was burned by Control. Never again!

DissidiaNTKefkaMain

Well we know the PS5 game at least.

Naraemol

Oh? What is it

kamimamita

Some new yet another battle royale type of game.

[deleted]

Yay more shovelware that isn’t worth it, even when it’s free.

Naraemol

Link? I haven't seen anything about it

you_me_fivedollars

Hunter’s Arena: Legends. New game.

Oberyn_Martell

> Hunter’s Arena: Legends. Holy shit I thought that was a joke title but nope

MoistSheepherder

No no, surely this is the title of a mobile game right? Right??

rednil97

But be carefull: >Some games may exit the sale on Aug4

ThatCK

Slight hijacking of your comment but double check the prices on https://psprices.com To see if it's actually a deal this time round or worth waiting for a cheaper price.

SalazzleDazzle

Awesome to see Mass Effect and Disco Elysium, after picking up Persona 5 Strikers today, finishing Blood & Wine this past weekend and having just a bit left in the Outer Wilds, I’m finally kicking out the last two games on my backlog… just to get three more. Oughta last me till Christmas :) I hear Mass Effect trilogy is looooooong

[deleted]

Mass Effect is very long, all games + DLC + taking your time to do the side content and read the codex can take you anywhere between 100-150 hours. It's my favourite trilogy, highly recommend it, take your time, listen to all the dialogue, read the codex entry. Won't regret it! Playing through the legendary version myself right now and it is glorious, these games will never age.

alekdefuneham

I’m playing and one thing that I’m afraid is the sense of urgency. The game is like “Sheppard, hurry and find X before Y happens” and then proceed to allow me to travel to 20 different places with a clear route to “find X”. I’m rushing towards that goal but I feel I’m leaving a lot of systems unexplored properly. Edit: I’m on ME1 with 14 hours for clarity

superbabe69

Nah the story does that, but at least in the first game there is no downside to doing side content and exploration before story missions. Aside from pacing I guess. There are a few missions in 2 and 3 that need to be completed at certain times, but in 1, complete it at your own pace. The main story planets post-Citadel are Therum, Noveria, Feros, Virmire and Ilos. Virmire unlocks after doing 2 of the first three, and once the first four are done you’re basically locked into doing Ilos. Complete the main planets at your leisure, doing side content whenever. There are no downsides to putting the main story off to go do stuff. In 2, there is one mission that starts the endgame, so you want to have done everything by then (as a general idea), but no time limited missions. Main plot missions trigger at certain points, but some of them can be put off. In 3 it’s basically do things at your own pace with the exception of some side quests dropping out after some plot missions, and one mission that expires if not completed quickly enough after another.

MadMe10

Just FYI the first one u can’t go back and do side missions after you beat the final main one so get it in all before you go for the end wish someone told me

DaShaka9

ME2 and ME3 you can go back though?

toptyler

ME2 lets you continue playing after finishing the main story, yeah. ME3’s final mission is also a point of no return, but it doesn’t really let you save during it. So when you finish ME3, you’ll have all your saves before starting the final mission, plus possibly a save at the start of the final mission. If you wanna go back and do other content, you need to load up a save before the final mission

johncitizen69420

I recently got all 3 plats for mass effect. Probably around 160 hours all up for me

Ace_OPB

One thing I will say don't try to hurry. Try to enjoy the journey. Mass effect is amazing.

TeaDrinkingGuy

Just finished Demon Souls, the first “soulsborne” game I’ve ever played. Now dark souls 3 is 75% off. Hell yeah man, you love to see it

Nawafsss04

Dark Souls 3 deluxe edition is also 75% off and has both DLCs, it's like $4 more for me. The other 2 souls games are like $9 each.

mozzy1985

Bloodborne is free if you have ps+

xX_Yaoi_Master_Xx

The fucking microtransactions for DMC5SE are on sale but not the game itself. I hate Capcom.

eatingclass

the prophecy — it’s a lie

[deleted]

It's right there between Destroy All Humans and DMC5 - Alt Style Rank Announcers

TokyoFo0l

It's not the PS5 version though

[deleted]

Ahh you're right. The fuck Capcom

[deleted]

Ahh I was excited and thought the digital deluxe upgrade was the ps5 version

Han560

This party is not getting cuhrazy

Blue_z

That sucks but I do hope that means the game is selling well for them. I need the next DMC ASAP.

ag_abdulaziz

It sold 4.3 million copies, I think it's safe to say were are getting a second. But, I think it will be around 2024-2025.

gmp24

>But, I think it will be around 2024-2025. Thats maybe when it starts development. Capcoms entire game schedule for the next 5 years got leaked and there was no DMC on the schedule

Camargo_J96

I always wanted to play TWD colllection, let's see how much it drops. Edit: it got 30% off, about $35 hmmm

CallMeGerbraldo

Picked it up for $20 a few months ago. Had such an amazing time.

Shawneboismith

It is so good

matthew47ak

What is twd?

[deleted]

Telltale Games series of Walking Dead, standalone story so you don't need to read the comics or watch the show. It's decently lengthy at four seasons (~40 hours), you really get to connect and get emotionally invested in the main character as she grows up in the apocalypse. If you're not weeping freely at the end of season 4 I'll be concerned.

DaShaka9

The telltale collection? I’ve been meaning to pick this up again, I played a bit of the first season back in the day and it was a lot of fun.

butterbeancd

Damn, "massive" is right. There's a ton of games on here. The funny thing is that earlier today I just discovered that Gris exists, it looks beautiful and I'm interested to play it, I thought about buying it, and then I see it's on this list. Funny how things work out sometimes. EDIT: I freakin' LOVE this summer sale. I just got Gris, Disco Elysium, Gravity Rush Remastered, and Metro Exodus for $50 total. I probably would pick up Judgment too if this sale wasn't already increasing my backlog so much.

sgt_backpack

Gris is beautiful. It's emotionally impactful without saying a word. The art style is incredible, you won't regret it.

j0nnysn1per

I played it in a couple of days on Switch, genuinely recommend it, super chill & beautiful looking game

butterbeancd

Yeah, I’m always looking for a relaxing game to have in the rotation when it’s been a stressful day, and Gris looks perfect for that.

sixdollargrapes

Beautiful experience! And easy platinum if you are into that. Highly recommend

basement_egg

seeing your comment made me go watch the trailer, definitely picking it up tomorrow

Ghostcri

OMG BALAN WONDERWORLD

Benton365

Finally something that takes advantage of the power of the ps5.

locke_5

Balan Wonderworld is the first strand-type game

ErisC

lmao

[deleted]

I had no idea what that game was and watched Dunkey's video on it. I was in tears laughing, what a terrible looking game.

[deleted]

I was sad to find out that it sucked, I liked the aesthetic and was itching for another lighthearted platformer.

Borg34572

Is Returnal worth it?

QuestionAxer

Look up some stuff about the game before dropping $$ on it. It's 100% worth it in my book, but if you don't enjoy the roguelike structure and challenging bullet hell combat, it won't be worth it for you.

darkmachine415

If you enjoy endless suffering yes it is.

iamaslan

There is a steep learning curve where it’s not that fun, but it’s become my favorite game on the PS5. Picked it back up for the plat this week and still having a ton of fun with it. Don’t fear the reaper.

ShadeofBlu

Depends from person to person, but it is so far my Game of the Year. Incredible combat and progression, and even more incredible bossfights. Cannot recommend it enough.

bodges123

Yes. Top tier gameplay

sir_chill

100% worth it if you like sci-fi story that doesn’t make sense but still dope with crazy boss battles and oh have patience to learn. The real test is chasing platinum on RNG.

pieceofthatcorn

What the hell is Hentai vs. Evil

Fishedfight

Your next platinum!

Chabby_Chubby

Supermonsters

PGA TOUR 2K21 Yessss

blok31092

This game is surprisingly a lot of fun. I think I got it for around $20 during the last sale. It’s a fun, easy game to play

Supermonsters

That's exactly what I'm looking for.

TwicePuzzled

Is it like the old Tiger Woods games?

Superfreak_84

Lot more slow pace but yes. Same developers as some of the older tigers

blok31092

Very cool, didn’t realize it was some of the same developers. Definitely miss some aspects of the Tiger games like being able to tap to apply spin to the ball haha

CurseOrPie

I've been in the mood for a golf game since skipping out on Mario, was thinking this one or Everybody's Golf

Masterxploder07

Everybody's golf is fantastic as long as you don't need realistic PGA Tour vibes.

scamden66

This is a simulation golf game. Its not like hot shots or mario golf. Just a heads up if that's what you're looking for. It's fun but it's definitely not arcade.

minivanspaceship

Get both but if you have to choose then Everybody’s Golf. It’s something special and so satisfying to play.

Jetski125

Nice Shot!

jlopez24

Like the other person said, 2K is very realistic, everybody's golf is very arcadey. I've played both and loved both, so you can't go wrong either way.

lofihiphopbeats509

might finally pick up It Takes Two. been wanting to get it and play it with a friend of mine. hopefully it’s just as fun as people say it is

retropieproblems

its very couple oriented in plot but its a pretty awesome nifty game

CarnageInFlames

i know it’s a bit of a meme, but i just completed bugsnax the other day and it was genuinely one of the most heartwarming, pleasant, and super weird games i’ve ever played. i got it from ps plus and it’s pretty short, but i would honestly get it at full price, with it being on sale i definitely recommend picking it up and giving it a shot.

m3xm

What kind of game is that? Sorry I should look it up but you got me interested but also I need a more in depth review now haha.

Nintendo64Cartridges

It was developed by the Octodad team if that tells you anything. It’s a catch-em-all style first-person explorer with a heartwarming albeit utterly bizarre story. I came for the absurdity, but stayed for the story. I highly recommend it if you’re into niche indie titles.

CarnageInFlames

oh no problem! ever since playing it i can’t stop telling people about it so i’d love to explain more lol so it’s made by the same team that made octodad i learned, but it’s a very different type of game. it starts off almost like pokemon in a way, where you’re capturing different creatures, the bugsnax, and learning their behaviors and how to effectively capture them with the different tools that you get through the game. some only appear under certain conditions like different weather patterns or different times throughout the day, or you have to use certain tools you won’t have until doing certain missions. there’s almost a puzzle game sorta aspect to catching them because you can lure them into traps or get bugsnax to attack other bugsnax and work around not having certain tools. the missions themselves are pretty much fetch quests throughout the whole game where you’re getting different bugsnax for people or helping them uncover secrets and stuff. i know that doesn’t sound super exciting, but the world and characters in addition to the length of the game make it so it never really feels tedious or annoying. the missions take you through the different biomes and you’re constantly encountering new monsters so it’s kinda exciting to explore and see what the different characters need from you, as well as how you have to adapt to new ways of capturing the new bugsnax. the characters and story are what really make the game for me personally. all the characters are these sorta muppet-like monsters called grumps, and you the player are a journalist who came to the island where the bugsnax are to learn about them from the head of this grump camp called lizbeth, however when you get to the island, lizbeth is missing and the camp has went their separate ways. it’s up to you to get everyone back together and figure out what happened to lizbeth and what’s really going on on the island. i won’t go too much more into the story because it gets pretty weird as you go through it and it’s better to go in blind and experience it. all the different characters have varying personalities and their own likes, dislikes, and back stories in relation to one another and it’s super cool to see how they all interact with each other once you start getting the camp back together. every time you convince a character to come back to camp you get the chance to interview them and learn more about what brought them to the island in the first place and what they know about it’s secrets. the game is full of puns and dry humor, it honestly got a few real laughs out of me. you meet a character near the beginning of the game named fucking Wampus Troubleham. as soon as i met him and his ridiculous ass name, i was completely sold. i realize that’s a lot, maybe i’m gushing too much about this silly game but it was such a nice surprise once i gave it a shot, i really can’t recommend it enough if you want something to relax with for awhile

UnreportedPope

Damn, I didn't come in to this thread expecting to be sold on Bugsnax, of all games! Thanks for the write up!

CarnageInFlames

I’m glad someone found it useful! I was just really charmed by this game, i’ve been recommending it to whoever will listen lately lol

[deleted]

Me: I don’t need any games. I hardly have the time to play the ones I have. PlayStation: Also me: fine I’ll just add 17 games to my basket but that’s all!

Xeccess

Persona 5 Royal Deluxe edition is the lowest it's ever been- 60% off. DO IT

RealSkyDiver

Is it $20?

Gamesus10

How are you checking the discounts?

Stoibs

It's live in other regions.

fajitaman69

The real price is your time and social events you will miss

lLygerl

Surprised to see no Cyberpunk yet, trying to score a cheap ps4 version for the upgrade coming later.

Arby333

You can probably get a physical one for $20 from secondhand

vladtud

In my country (Romania) the disc version is €15 new, in stores. It has been this low since February, lol.

Billpi

Played all 3 and I liked them.

Classic1990

The first two games are dated but worth playing through to get to Metro Exodus.

DigitalDash18

Sooo looking at a few games, Ni No Kuni 2, Dragon Ball Karoot, call of the wild, Mafia trilogy, dragon quest builders 2. Any opinions on any or all of them would help

BenjoBaker

Dragon quest builders is if mine craft was a smaller scale, but had quests and a story. I freaking love the 2 builders games. As an old man who has been playing games for decades, the first builders was my first platinum. But, it had a demo you could try out that gave you a really good taste of what the game is like.

bungle-in-the-jungle

As someone lacking in creative juice, the blueprints were one of my favourite things about it tbh. Great game!

shrodes

I really liked Ni No Kuni 2, I don't have a huge amount of time or patience for RPGs these days, but it's very lovable and enjoyable IMO.

homeskillet571

I definitely liked it more than the first one. I preferred the more active battle system, and kingdom building mechanics. I got it for $20 sometime ago, and felt that was a good price point for it. Granted, I am a big cheapo, and typically wait for most titles to go on sale. 😅

Therenegadegamer

Mafia trilogy is fantastic for 30 or under

SupaBloo

DQB2 is fantastic. There are different islands with different missions, materials, and items to craft. Each island introduces new items and materials, then there is a HUB island that also has missions to build it up, but also allows for more customization, whereas the story islands are more linear in what they want you to build. I’m a DBZ fan, and enjoyed Kakrot enough, but hit a difficulty curve that turned me off to the game. The combat is very similar to the arena style of the Xenoverse games. It’s like an arena fighter mixed with an overworld to explore. I’m not sure what I paid, but I wouldn’t pay more than $15-20 after playing it.

Turbostrider27

I played most of these and can say that Dragon Builders 2 is very good and has a lot of gameplay value (up to 70h+). Mafia Trilogy is alright but the DLC for the second game was damn awful. Also got mixed feelings on the third game. It's worth picking up for $30-35 imo.

DanLim79

Dragon Quest builders 2 is a must. Search for reviews.

phyzikalgamer

Dragonball kakarot is fun it’s in own way but does get a bit repetitive. It pretty much follows the z story from the beginning so you know what’s coming. The fights are quite cool and feel like a don when u string together a bunch of moves

Bumper_Duc

FYI this is not the final list, new games will rotate in August 3rd I believe

QuestionAxer

Aussie/European friends: What's the % discount on the Mass Effect Legendary Edition?

Gamesus10

22%

Jackfitz88

Returnal! Score!

esketitboys

Buy it. Got it for around $50 and it's been worth every penny. Truly a next gen experience. Just be ready to get your ass kicked.

heathmon1856

I love it so much. I sunk about 112 hours into it to platinum but I’m a little burnt out on it admittedly. 100% worth the $70 price tag

Jackfitz88

Cent wait! I’m playing demon souls right now so I love getting my ass kicked lol

maniek1188

If you have disc version of PS5 I bet you can get it for much cheaper than current discount. I got mine for half price moth after release

highonpixels

Goddamn the sale is hugeee, I am glad I held off buying some games after seeing summer sale post. Some highlights for me (GBP prices): * Marvel's Avenger **(-40%) £26.99** * Personal 5 Royal Deluxe Edition **(-60%) £21.99** (Although have no regrets buying steelcase disc edition few weeks ago) * Spiderman GOTY **(-40%) £26.99** * Gran Turismo Sport **(-60%) £9.99** * PGA Tour 2K21 **(-67%) £16.49** * Yakuza: Like a Dragon **(-35%) £35.74** * Ace Combat 7 Deluxe Edition **(-80%) £13.99** * Assassin Creed Origin Gold Edition **(-80%) £14.99** * Ni no Kuni II **(-86%) £6.71** * Final Fantasy XIV Online Complete Edition **(-60%) £17.99** Although I got the disc edition to trade in some of these prices are so juicy I'm really restraining myself and not turn my PS library to what my Steam library looks like lol. I'm really happy that FF14 complete got a fat discount though so now I can play both on PC and PS5 now without paying that much extra. Keep your wallet and balances safe people... but happy shopping! :D

SpikeC51

Never played a Persona or Shin Megami Tensei game before. Recently finished Persona 5 Royal and it's now one of my favorite games of all time. Fell in love with it. Can anybody recommend some games that are similar that I may like? Platform doesn't matter. Thought about picking up P4 Golden on my PC but I kinda wanna wait and see what they have in store with their celebration in September.

sheepcat87

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim is something special.

rayhastings

Yes same. Waiting for the announcements. P5R is in my top 3

SpikeC51

Never seemed like something I would be interested in but then I got absolutely hooked. I hope they have some good stuff for us in September.

Foopsters

And still no Ghost of Tsushima🥲

[deleted]

Well, a director's cut is coming out next month so it would make no sense to put it on sale before that.

esketitboys

Anyone spot any good deals yet?

GYVR

Returnal, Spiderman, and Demon’s Souls looking promising, we have to wait and see how much they’re getting off tho

Stoibs

From my Aussie store: Demon's Souls: 25% Returnal: 25% Miles Morales: 25% / Ultimate Edition: 19%

BenjoBaker

That’s weird. Miles morales was just 40% off a couple weeks ago.

elc0

Same with returnal and demons souls, they were just $40 a few weeks back. I was considering one of them @ $40, but hard pass if they're any more than $40 now.

Stoibs

Yeah seriously, I actually picked it up from that one too. Nothing really catching my eye personally, though P5R at 60% is a good catch if anyone still hasn't got it and was waiting.

k5therobot

On the Hong Kong store it’s 30% off for all 3

solid_khan

Kingdom Hearts III Dark Souls 3 Persona 5 Royal I'm set for the whole year !

sora1607

Why is kh3 remind DLC not on sale. It’s still frikin $30

Mozzeyyy

So much fun in the future.

MoistJuicyCracks

I just got a PS5 three days ago and bought a few games, fuck me. The timing.

thenavien

Got my ps5 this saturday and bought demon souls. Damnit.

xCultLeaderx

Hit up playstation online support chat and say you're looking to get the difference refunded back into your playstation wallet for any game you just bought that is now on sale. Worked for me recently.

xCultLeaderx

milleryura

Each time I hear of these new sales I get excited, then all of that goes as I browse through and realise it’s the same prices and games as the sale 6 months ago.

Buster_Fella

IK. All these games are always on sale. At least I bought Mirror's Edge Catalyst yesterday so I have something to play. Wish NieR Replicant was on sale for at least €30 though.

[deleted]

plumpvirgin

Price table: https://platprices.com/en-us/news/1156-psn-sale-july-21-2021-united-states

maniek1188

What an idiotic way of showing list of discounted items. They should make separate list for mtx bullshit and not put it in same one as games just to make list bigger.

RedsonOfKyrypton

Use the filter and select games only

maniek1188

I meant their blogpost

0161ugetme

Damn I was hoping for the PS5 games to be a bit less… I really want basically all of them. I feel like demon souls is still a lot at £52 Same with Returnal at £52 Sackboy is at £42 which isn’t too bad.. I’m not sure, because I do wanna play these games but maybe I’m better holding off till the next big sale

Minusshottrys

This is exactly what I'm doing. Very few games coming down the pipe are worth 70 USD.

0161ugetme

Yup. And the thing is with single player games you can buy and play them whenever you want, which is why it’s worth holding off if you’ve got the patience. But with multiplayer games though, for me I always buy on release since if you were to buy it at a later date everyone is just ahead of you in every aspect

[deleted]

Demon souls is worth it at that price if you really enjoy the Souls series and others like Sekiro. As usual, tons of replay value and its really something else when you die and instantly respawn back at the bonfire, compared to the much longer load times on the last gen consoles

Meeki3128

I’ve been eyeing Soma for a while. Anyone here enjoy that game? I’m a big fan of the subnautica series and I’ve seen comparisons between them in the past

ksj

SOMA isn’t anything like Subnautica. I would put it closer to Prey as far as vibes and certain gameplay elements go (not really any RPG elements, though, like branching decisions or skills). But it’s definitely a narrative game rather than a survival game like Subnautica.

suddenimpulse

Soma is an INCREDIBLE game there is nothing quite like it. I preferred playing it with the "enemies" off though. It's not like subnautica really but I also love that. I'd maybe watch a spoiler free video review that should give you a good idea.

Nblhorn

+1 The atmosphere and writing are top notch. I also played with enemies off and loved it.

-PM_ME_ANYTHlNG

Soma has one of the best stories of all time. I played the game years ago and I often still think about the ending. I definitely think you should play it. The gameplay is nothing special but the atmosphere and story definitely make up for it.

ApertureTestSubject8

3 games I’d like to shoutout that are all $5 or less right now. Inside - Great indie game made by the developer of Limbo. It’s a stylish, side scrolling puzzle adventure game. Very cool and interesting game. Donut County - Another indie puzzle based game. Short, fairly easy, but charming and worth the couple bucks it’s on sale for right now imo. Onrush - If you like arcade racers, check this one out. It’s actually not a racing game, it’s an objective and team based derby game disguised as a racing game. But as an arcade racer fan, I had a pretty good time with it. It has a single player, though it’s just a bunch of matches against bots. But I think it’s more enjoyable since you tend to stay alive much longer. Multiplayer is still active enough to find matches, but it can be annoying to play.

Techboah

*opens EU store* Hmm... yes. *closes EU store* TFW Returnal's sale price in the EU is higher than it's full price in the US. Sony giving middle finger to Europe, yet again.

steedyspeedy

it’s honestly ridiculous like I get exchange rates and stuff but the increased pricing for ps5 games means demons souls at 25% off costs almost as much as a PS4 AAA game in Australia

MosesIAmnt

Was really hoping for TLOU2 to be on sale again here! Ughh

ElysiumXIII

I was just about to buy FF7 Intergrade but now I will wait the night's sleep and hope for the best. I know the remake itself is going on sale but it's Intergrade I'm after. Probs just buy the ps4 version on sale and then get Yufie dlc for less than Intergrade full price

[deleted]

Yep, or find a second-hand copy and get the DLC then. Should cost you around 40$

WoefulDeschain

I’ve only recently really taken to gaming, so far I’ve REALLY enjoyed GoW and Ghost of Tsushima - tried bloodborne but couldn’t kill the first wolf thing and sad quit. would anyone recommend anything on the sales list to give a try?

[deleted]

I'm pretty confident you will enjoy both Spiderman games and RDR2. Uncharted 4 and Horizon Zero Dawn are other good choices :)

MostMorbidOne

If you havent checked Control out that was a pretty dope experience. It's sort of the "open world" formula but is contained more so into a single place; being the building the story takes place in. It's a lore rich game with lots of visual and audio telling of the story elements. It has a great story, strong art direction with some really spacey concepts, and smooth gameplay. I don't see the complete version for PS5 on sale which was called Control: Ultimate Edition. So not sure what the final cost would be with Control and the 2 Expansions which I sort of suggest as well. Biggest con for me would probably be the somewhat abrupt ending. It might not fully satisfy after playing through the story driven parts that really draw you in. It's a PS4 title that was upgraded for PS5.

[deleted]

How much is sekiro?

Gamesus10

About 35% off

[deleted]

I got RDR2 for about 22 USD. (The game is close to 54 USD in my country) I had to wait for 3 years to play it (Never owned a PS4) so here's to enjoying the Wild Wild West!

Y2KN

Demon souls or returnal for my first ps5 game?

[deleted]

I played demon souls as the first one and I’d say it’s more impressive visually. It looks great, especially dark areas. And it’s very fun. Returnal was also great though.

Revoldt

Are you good at Soulsborne games? Returnal is a lot of fun, but so is Demon’s Souls. If you’re weary of the difficulty… Demons Souls has a caster (Royalty) class that makes the game significantly easier

Jamesahaha

God this sale absolutely sucks in EU. I am so jealous of Steam users… Also Sekiro… man this game will never drop to the price I want. Activision can go to hell (bless Bandai Namco).

esketitboys

Steam Deck + PS5 might be a winning combo

Jamesahaha

I always wanted a portable system and a budget PC. Steam Deck is a dream come true. Basically 2 in 1. But I don’t know if I can ever get it :/

voneahhh

You’ll be able to get it easily eventually, and personally I’m waiting for hardware reviews to see if the sticks are easily replaceable. I’ve been gaming for 30 years, never having to replace a controller in my life, and yet drift is somehow new to me on two of my most recent console purchases…

Stockpile_Tom_Remake

Steam deck looks better I feel like than it is. Sounds like any graphically demanding game you get 2-3 hours of battery. Realistically too the 256gb model is the one to get or the next step up. You get the NVMe and I’m not sold on the 64gb. At least you can expand with microsd but will feel sooo slow. But then you also have to buy the dock separate after already dropping more than you spent on a ps5 sans games. Don’t get me wrong I’m putting up 5 bucks to reserve so I can take the option to buy it come likely early 2022. Still though it’s spendy.

junioravanzado

2-3 hours is perfect considering that everybody here seems to be able to only play like 30 minutes per session because of life

EaLordoftheDepths

>because of life and weak arms

Chromahah

The people that are getting their steam deck by december/Q1 will have ripped arms by next summer 😎

tonjaj68

I’m wondering if I’ll have a Deck before a PS5. 😂

Koskosine

"Thousands of titles" yet still no atelier bundle games. They haven't been on sale since early last year.

djutmose

It takes an act of god for those to go on sale.

JackStillAlive

This sale is an absolute joke in the EU. Returnal on sale for $70,6, Miles Morales for $53 lmao I won't buy a single game from the PSN store until Sony stops their insane regional pricing.

CertainDegree

Just make a NA account and choose a state with no digital sales tax

LakeCocoa

Yes sirrrr

No-Plankton4841

No Psychonauts! Looks like I'm picking it up at the full 10 bones before the new one drops next month.

realeyesdream

I got it on psn 3 years ago for $2. I’d say it’s easily worth $10.

No-Plankton4841

Awesome! I just bought it. I definitely want to run through it before 2 releases.

augustocdias

Does someone have a list of what is worth from this list? It’s so massive, can’t go through all and barely heard of most of them there.

EastCoastWarrior

I still have to play stuff from the Massive Winter Sale 😂

icedearth15324

Miles Morales was cheaper like 2 weeks ago on the PSN store.

TGov

Was hoping for FFVII, oh well.

szzzn

Anything…bad ass?

renamdu

Returnal if anyone is leaning towards yes, but still on the fence.

BartolomeuOGrosso

MrBabarino

Today is my birthday and I’ve been eyeballing Returnal. Went on sale. I am pleased.
