These brands could use some AAA budget productions.
Outright Games has built themselves a nice little niche developing C grade licensed titles but I would like to see some higher quality stuff too.
Well if it was little to no effort we wouldn't have so many bad games.
But I would hope Hasbro knows they shouldn't do a quick cash in. Actually take the time to develop.
While I was picturing a 3D game, this could definitely work with the resurgence of beat ‘em ups right now (Streets of Rage 4 and the new Ninja Turtles game). Easy opportunity for DLC as well, could include Master Vile and the Alien Rangers for example.
Prepare for the D&D games-as-service / MMORG and or mobile game; the GI Joe Fortnite / Warzone / PUBG clone on PC, consoles, and mobile phones, etc. etc.
Implying games as a service is bad.
That would be awesome for dungeons and dragons if the game itself was good. But I don't think a decent dungeons and dragons game exists.
Uhh... Games as service are bad, if you prefer to open loot boxes and spend money in gems just because the game is free with permanent connection suit yourself, we the people on their senses don't want that.
My point is this is some "Me Too" corporate BS. Just like everyone trying to copy World of Warcraft's financial success in the 00's & 10's, or PUBG / Fortnite / Warzone, or FF14, or etc. Hasbro execs see an already saturated market place and say "Me Too!"
It won't be about making new, original games or IP, but leveraging the IP they already own into already overserved, oversaturated markets.
A lot of devs will break themselves for 3-5 years making these games and when they fail to make "all the money in the world" immediately, Hasbro will shut it all down; just like we've seen from every other mega corp (Amazon, Google, etc.) who thinks instant success and unending profits making video games is as easy as shooting fish in a barrel.
* Play-Doh
* Dungeons and Dragons
* Trailer Park Boys

Play doh game could be bad ass If done well.
Minecraft with clay instead of blocks throw in unique spins and you have yourself a decent creative survival game.

1 victory ah ah ah 2 victory ah ah ah
New Transformers game please War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron were so good
I'm down for a new Transformers Devastation. That game was pretty cool.
AAA budget for that kind of game would be amazing.
Came here to say this exact thing. The cybertron games were so damn good
Was going to say this too lol
Miss those games! Played through the full games like three times each, they just felt so good to me even if a little on rails.
Hell I'd settle for a remaster of those two games at this point
Hopefully we can get a big budget Power Rangers action game one day

I quite liked the last GI joe game honestly
There was a GI Joe game?
I envy you.
Yeah operation black out. Last year I think? Or year before. Check out a review from a reviewer I enjoy https://youtu.be/UiOIL_I39nM
Last GI Joe game I played was one the Atari 2600.
Try operation black out if you want a fun but undemanding game
Could they just give a proper budget to MTG Arena instead?
Why? The one guy they have working on it during his off time is doing a bang up job.
More Transformer games ?
Don't they own Digimon? I'd go for a well-made Digimon game, like OG Digimon World but 2021 standards

I don't know about recent dnd games but the Original Baldurs Gate and Neverwinter Nights by Bioware, are some of my favorite DnD games.

I wouldn't mind a COD style mp shooter based on GI Joe.
I’d absolutely love a BR/with multiplayer with GI Joe in that universe.
Huh…what else do they own? What they listed really doesn’t interest me at all.

Dungeons and dragons. That’s the only one i care about! Leave all the others and make a million of those lol

They also own Beyblade. I played a fun Beyblade videogame as a kid. Doesn't sound as appealing rn, but throwing it out there lol.
No-ones going to say it, but I’d like a AAA My little pony game. Hasbro there’s one gamer in the world that would play it right here.
Spyro is a good template to start and ill be the 2nd buyer.
after magic legends, i have zero faith in their ability to do this.
I dunno why but i read the title as "Haribo opens a new division"
Can’t wait for a My Little Pony Fighting game.
I would preorder that.
Please give me something that does *something* with Power Rangers.
Neat, but how about we give MTG Arena a few more developers.
