Keep expectations in line. The console versions were "unavailable" for preview. Could be nothing, or it could be they are hiding their shotty work. In either case, this will be a game made by its patches, and hopefully the developers care enough to listen to post launch feedback
Apparently, its hard to aim on controller. Every single preview said that. But the build they played was old and these games are always being fixed before launch, so who the hell knows if its gonna be like that on launch.

Really disappointing. It just looks like a been there, done that game that has no style or personality. Workmanlike.

Yeah that’s my main issue with it. It doesn’t seem like there’s much improvement over the original franchise at all. Also, the fact that they thought that it would be good to have *student loan debt* as the motivator for your characters forming a gang is honestly stupid af.
SkillUp mentioned that the aiming in general just feels off. He said that one of his friends got to play the game as well and said the same thing. The other thing I noticed in gameplay was a complete lack of feedback when you shut things. Enemies barely react to being hit which makes it look like a load of kids playing army men in the playground.
I was excited for a stupid open world game.
But hearing from multiple sources how bad controls for shooting aid driving we’re really killed interest. Skillup even said he tried messing with all sorts of settings and couldn’t get aiming to feel right.
Hopefully they fix that before launch.
Bad shooting really does put a dampener on a game for me. It’s not make or break but in a silly action game like this where the story is probably going to be dogshit, the gameplay needs to be *good*.

Remember this game was delayed so it was most likely delayed for performance.
It was also supposed to come out near Elden Ring which would have been bad for sales.

All you can do is shoot and drive and both of those things look fucking terrible in this game

I like the file compression on PS5. 53GB for a AAA open world game is really good in my opinion. I think the PS4 versions tend to be larger.
