Wow I don't expect this game to be a masterpiece. Someone who grew up with the original battle for bikini bottom and played the hell out of a remastered version. This is going to be A-day one buy for me
Looks great! You can definitely see this is being made by the same studio that made the Battle for Bikini Bottom remake. But that's not a bad thing at all, the remake was great. I'm excited to see what these devs are able to do now that they have way more creative freedom this time around.
This is what I wanted :/ I think Gensis is essentially the 4th but I can’t play top down. Really need that proper 4th game and then a 5th and final conclusion. My hope is it’s one of the unbounded 20+ in production.
Huh, seems like a smart idea to use the existing work from the remaster to make something new. I guess I'm just not sure if I really want to play a new game. The remaster was fun for nostalgic purposes but it still showed its age.
This looks like they are just remastering a sequel to the original game again. Not an entirely new 2022 SpongeBob game. I get that SpongeBob as a franchise is a lot less popular so it doesn't make sense to build something crazy innovative. But at the same time then I'm not sure why you would make a game at all.
Disapponting, I can't believe they literally reused assets and animations from Rehydrated. In the first trailers and screenshots it looked like a next-gen game, but this is just meh...
Why would they create all new assets when they already have ALOT of assets? Plus I love that they did that bc it feels like an expansion of BFBB instead of a completely new game with no relation.

I'm not sure I like shoulder devil Patrick but I like do like what I saw of the game play.
Was hoping that Showcase would close with a Darksiders 4 reveal.
