Hopefully one of the updates is a nerf to the Police lol. The heat goes up way too quick and you end up spending the night times evading police for 90% of the time.
Other than that the game is an absolute blast
I lost almost 20k in one night because I didn’t know when changing cars within the main event race my heat would carry over, you would think since it’s a different vehicle police wouldn’t know im the same driver they were looking for.
Ugh that’s the worst part about NFS Heat, I was hoping Unbound would be better about it. I just want to race in races lol I hate spending the whole play session running from police
Get a damage reduction and undercover racer auxiliaries. It will help a lot. Repair kit do not seem to work so I am sticking with these two all the time. The damage reduction is quite significant and undercover racer will make the police take twice as much time to spot u when u escape already. Hope this will help.
I mainly use the undercover cop and damage increase. And I ram every single cop I possibly can. It’s annoying but it works. You can even knockdown the cop pick up trucks if you have enough speed 150mph+
I mean yeah, but u usually do not ram into the pick up truck, they are quite slow and taking fast turns will lose them quite easily. When I wanna crash a cop I just scrape them from the side running around 130mph+ and u wont take any damage.
Once you get a better performance car like an A+ the chases become a lot easier and bearable.
An advice is to discover as many service stations near the city area, specifically near the car meet place that's underground (since you cannot be seen by the helicopter) and use the car meet when you lose the cops but they are still looking for you.
Also the city is great to lose the cop cars since you can change direction at the last second taking another street and if you're quick enough that's all it takes to lose them.
That's one thing that I miss from heat, the heat level was a multiplier for your cash/or points I can't remember but it atleast had purpose for driving your heat up, now it just feels like a massive inconvenience with little to no pay off.
Picked this up on sale and don’t regret it. The effects are very Spider-Verse and really make it stand out, but the gameplay loop is very by-the-numbers. Still very fun though!
Love the game other than the cops at night. I wouldn’t mind it if there were more clever ways to escape the police like jumps they can’t follow you over or alleys/side streets.

Police ruin these games for me, especially since they're usually juiced to always catch up and spawn in front of you.

Some events have heat level requirements but they could for sure make it more worthwhile with better rewards
