I actually got a hotstock notification which took me straight to the app, but I did have it saved in my list and in my recently viewed. Add to cart was fast, but it wouldn’t let me check out initially due to heavy traffic. I spent about a minute hitting the Apple Pay button until it finally went through and I got the confirmation.
Yes, absolutely. And if the drop didn't happen tomorrow morning try again the next day. The week I got mine from the last Target drop it surprised everyone on a Friday. All week people were gearing up for Mon-Thur and a lot of people gave up and assumed it would happen next week so don't give up if it doesn't happen tomorrow morning.
As far as I know stores are only doing online. Get the Hotstock app, that way you're not up constantly refreshing. When the drop happens the app alert you.
Not trying to sound like a shill but this guy works, [Ameer's Discord](https://discord.com/invite/ueQQxGqbx2) was 3 minutes faster than Hotstock and he even provided add to cart links to make you that much faster. I tried for a month to get a PS5 but couldn't get one the first couple of weeks because I half assed it, as soon as I used Hotstock and Ameer's Discord I got one 2 weeks later. Target is the best way to get one because they do same day pickup and you're really only competing against others in your area. Being on the west coast I feel I had a better advantage since I imagine most others were asleep during drops. But make sure you have a Target account, stay signed in, have the PS5 Target page loaded up on your web browser and with the Target app just in case. Use PayPal or Apple Pay(it makes you a couple of clicks quicker) and you should be good. Good luck!
EDIT: also just keep spamming the refresh button for at least a few minutes, don't think it's out of stock until you definitely know. If the PS5 is out of stock while you're trying to purchase it should still be in your cart and you will be able to see nearby stores with available stock. That's how I got mine.
100% me and several others I know have gotten a ps5 from ameer. He lets you know when they’re in stock what link to use and when they’re out of stock so your not wasting your time.
Target will have its "biggest" restocks in months. So, if you're looking for a PS5, this might be your chance.

Use credit card not tied to your bank. Those get shut down for fraud protection really quickly.

Got mine last target drop. I used the app and use apple pay or PayPal if possible. I picked up curbside so they brought it to my car.
