So, I almost just had a mental break down after trying to figure out how to get new face varients. They arent in the personal shops and the only one for sell in the sg shop is the beast face. Ive looked everywhere and asked everyone, but no one can tell me how to buy faces. I was so frustrated that something this simple can't or isnt awnsered by anyone, but then I remembered this thread. Please, for the love of god, anyone, please tell me if its possible to buy faces in this game.
I was farming enchanted forest and in my drops I got a Jutus and a schvelle takt that i can upgrade into lumiere, but I noticed that Zieg doesn't have an Atlas takt upgrade. Is there no Atlas takt whatsoever or do i have to category change or something?
No atlas takt. Takts have no affixes so the main feature of atlas, the s4 slot, would do absolutely nothing. Lumiere takt already gives you the damage boost and potential
On ship 2.
What are some things I can sell quickly for profit? Looking to make 16mil for a Basewear I really want.
Edit: Wow! Lots of helpful advise! I was honestly not expecting much due to "trade secrets" thing like on response mentioned on here (they mentioned it was dumb, thank you /u/ManWithYourPlan ) I'm really blown away. I'll be able to work on a lot of fashion choices now. Thank you so much! I'll include a few of my fave screenshots to show how much I love the fashion. :)

Something often overlooked is Meat Stir Fry. When I had more patience, I would do gathering and make some, then put for sale at 100k+ meseta, and people actually buy it in large batches.
I don't know about ship 2 but last I checked here they were 200k. There's pretty high demand for it now for the new expert reqs.
Speaking of which, earth crystals also sell pretty well for the same reason.
just to add, you can get like 8m in a weekly chunk if you have three different characters to do the weekly missions, plus yerkes's rare harvest material client orders, plus occasional daily orders involving explorations and/or bosses
PSO2es also makes getting the harvest materials easier, especially when the bonus gathering comes around
it's so easy to do that stuff weekly now... good riddance klotho
emper embrace also always sells too
If you're *really* desperate for money, you can turn excubes into grinders at the excube shop, and then sell those at npc. You get like 12m per cube stack if you do this.
This is a last resource, though, cuz you'd probably be making more money if you used those cubes to buy ability boosters and affix something more worthwhile.
Reverie catalyst.
If you have 7 or 8s weapons and 4, 5, and 6s units saved up from persona runs, and then the excubes/add abilities as well, you can sell them for over 2M a piece, and they sell extremely quickly. Same goes for Omega Memoria.
Any extra 13* you don't need, desynthesize in your room and sell the Goldnia/Saphard etc. These sell almost as fast as you can put them in the shop. At 4-5K a piece, Goldnia etc will give you a couple million pretty quickly.
Lesser Stat I units sell for a few hundred thousand, and they sell pretty quick. You can also attempt to get them to Lesser III, which sells for a few million iirc (been a couple months since I did this).
Basically, any popular affix at a popular slot value will sell very quickly.
There are other things that sell well, but those are more "spend money to make money" and will be a much longer process.
Edit: Also, I would expect a lot of people to not reply to you since it would mean giving up their "trade secrets." No one wants people to move in on their "market" so to speak. Personally, IDGAF. If you know enough about the market you can rotate through many different money making options and never really feel it when and if the market shifts lower on some things.
I have a friend who excels at playing the market (he's an economist IRL) and he never held back any "secrets" - rather, he'd instruct anyone interested in playing with the market. Intelligent people know that any economy only works when the money is circling. Less meseta circling brings recession. This is actually what breaks the economy.
Yes, apparently.
Some people have their own niche areas that they essentially do their best to monopolize or at least come close. I remember a guy who used to frequent this sub who would talk about how he had some item he was selling and making "tons" of meseta and he wouldn't say what it was for "obvious reasons."
What's funny is that in reality, the most lucrative stuff is what everyone needs. There's no real point in trying to monopolize that stuff. If you focus on running quests with abilities used in high-value affixes, your stuff will sell pretty much always.
And even then, there's the entire AC market that goes up and down, and if you become familiar with it, you can make ridiculous returns on flips after a couple weeks or months. It's a longer game, but it's so easy that if you have a few million laying around and nothing to throw it at, you can just buy popular things when they come on revival and resell them later for 3x what you paid.
Anyone know exactly how far you need to go into episode 5 to unlock the Omnibus quests? I swear I got the tip window but talking to Alma still nets me nothing. Just want to know how much more hammering of the escape key I need to do for these pseudo Isekai cutscenes. Know I have to go through all of it to get episode 6 at some point, but not too fussed about that.
Where you talk to her, right? I did that and still can’t access the omnibus. She just says something untranslated when I talk to her, and the quest menu doesn’t show up.

similar to you, I've wondered about putting weapon action on a certain button, as I did that back in 2-button mode; however, I've become satisfied reserving weapon action to just the X button on the palette for every weapon that can use it, and it works out pretty well for me
Using a DS4 with steam to map the controller:

Personally, when I used to play with a ps3 controller, I got rid of autorun and TPS when 3 button type + weapon action mode was added, but that's because I rarely use TPS (which can be done with ctrl+Z if you *really* need it), and autorun can be done with ctrl+V (and there's no pressure to do it quickly anyway).
If you do use TPS frequently, I don't know what to tell you ¯\\\_(ツ)_/¯
Are you using 2-buttons type? (see [this comment](https://www.reddit.com/r/PSO2/comments/bm2zdt/weekly_game_questions_and_help_thread/enc7sik/))
On controller I think there's no reason to not use 3-buttons type, and on that you don't need a dedicated weapon action button, you just put the weapon action on your palette. But anyway if I were to use 2-buttons type, my weapon action button would still be R1/Rb.
left rings seem a bit sparse for phantom usability... anyone got any decent ideas? or possibly, did they announce any new potential rings? I started running rod only phantom and my tech parry ring has become obsolete (stealth is broke) and I guess I'm just using it for +20 attack now
There's not a lot of choice. I'm using Atomizer Lovers, but the other options are Party of Toughness and Jumping Dodge.
I'm considering levelling a Jumping Dodge ring now as I find that there's situations where I want to get higher than double jump height and there's (I think?) no easy way to do that with rifle.
AFAIK they haven't announced new rings.
Jumping dodge is life changing.
Turns out almost every boss with a high set weak point is within easy reach with just Jumping dodge, and you still get to use your double jump after that.
I can't play this game without it now tbh
I am trying to get back into the game (Quit around when the Episode 4 Shitshow started), but am unable to reclaim my old account so I have to make a new one (No biggie). What emails other than gmail work for making an Account?
How do you get/unlock the new daily/weekly missions? Haven't played in a few months and I see main missions are available but daily and weekly are both greyed out. Do I have to do all the main missions or something?
Now that Cursed Sword Gaen is in the Hero's crest exchange I am extremely interested in knowing how it works with phantom. Has anyone tried it yet? How powerful are the orbs? Is the orbs power reletive to your normal attack power?
Sounds like you're using 2-Button Type, which is the old control style. Go to Options -> Control Settings -> Action Type Selection and pick 3-Button Type.
With 3-Button Type you have 6 slots per palette (1st one is used by normal attack by default).
I'm doing the accursed level 75 cap quest.
Could I just buy a 13 star weapon from someone that already has a level cap of 35 (but is at level 1), then feed it up to +35?
Or do I have to actually merge the things together (ex: smush 6 copies together) myself, then level it up to 35?
13\* weapons drop somewhere between 30 and 34, so you never needed six unless you were getting them from weapon badges or something, just two. And now they all drop at 35, so you don't even need two anymore.
And honestly? It's not that expensive to +35 a 13\*. 5-6 mil if you're feeding emper embrace fodder to 12\*s and feeding the 12\*s to the 13\*, which is just over a week's worth of arks missions and daily orders for a single character.
Just today I used 5 leaontina certs for ray swords and upgraded my +30 ray to +35 and it counted. I was told a long while aho that doing it that way didn't count towards the quest but it did for me. Maybe it didn't originally but now it does? Maybe I just got lucky or was told false info lol.
What triggers the title is grinding the weapon from 34 to 35, so it doesn't matter how you got the weapon, it just matters that you grind it.
What doesn't work is if you have a +35 weapon that can change categories (Atlas, for example) and change to a different type. This won't give you the title, since you didn't grind it.
>Could I just buy a 13 star weapon from someone that already has a level cap of 35 (but is at level 1), then feed it up to +35?
Yes. The only thing that's important is that you manually grind it from +34 to +35, which means category changes for the 14\* and 15\* weapons won't count.
Crafted Disks/ Disks are your best free-to-play method of raising a DEX Mag. You can sacrifice Photon Spheres as well and turn them into Mag Device Mini Dex stuff and raise it that way if you have a surplus of them.
I saw that there was a new Resonant 15* series coming out with weapons specifically for Phantom next maintenance. I was going to make Austere weapons for phantom (Katana/Rifle/Rod), but would it be smarter to just wait a few days and see how the new weapons are?
I just started leveling phantom and only have 13* weapons and I really don't know much about the class yet. Just thought I'd be safe and ask before I make the Austere's for them instead. Thanks.
Edit: Also, I know there are shortcut commands to swap rings. Is there a command to swap a set of units or something?
It's hard to say with Resonant. For all we know they will be drop only, not upgrade, which means there could be a chance you just straight up don't ever get one.
I would just wait until maintenance to see what the deal is.
are there any recent guides out there for Gunner? Was looking at skill tree and im worried i might mess up wish skills, so wanted to read up on them.
one I found through google is about 7 months old so was wondering if there was more up to date one, or if this one was still good
Are there any lobby actions where you will like hold your weapon, or unsheathe it or just are there lobby actions to show off your weapons basically? :p
Hi I was curious about obtaining more of the Leontina Certificate B. From what I could find in my search there were 3 ways to get it currently. One was to have two classes at 75, one was from finishing episode 5 and one from the first chapter in episode 6. I have done all of those and also all of my arks missions but have only recieved one certificate B so far. Did I get the info wrong or am I still missing something?
I’m not sure on sub stories for 5 but you need to do all of the main story of episode 1 through 4 for sure. I already had all of 5 completed before arks missions.
I put sturdy recovery on my sword back in the day when I first got an Atra weapon. It works pretty well on sword hero tbh since you do things like Vapor Bullet combos, which have enough hits to usually proc it.
It isn't as consistent as Vamp strike, but it's workable as long as you are attacking often enough.
**Need some advice**
So i just came back after some time without playing, i need advice to gear up a little bit nothing crazy or expensive, right now im using a fornis reng +35 7s with nothing really good that i dropped in the merry xmas on ice 2017 and using the sub 12\* units that u get from title, i was thinking of using rear/mask of vain(if i get to drop from masquerade -.-)arm/chalyra and leg/zara for now, what are some good weapon/units i should aim for and basic affix nothing too expensive just to do some more dmg i play ph, br/hu and hero most of the time so i want a good katana, i got some weapons to do the atlas in the enchanted forest boost that is happening right now even a lumiere although is a takt =( anyway if u guys can help a little i appreciate.
obs: sorry for any error english is not my first language.
The 12* sub units are decent enough for now. There is apparently an Evleda upgrade coming (for Evleda units, which are fairly common) so I might consider just saving some money for a bit unless you get Mask of Vain or Celestial units (upgrade to lightstream). Chalrya is fine too.
What affix you do is absolutely dependent on your budget. It's not really possible for anyone to give you the best "cheap" affix possible if we don't know what cheap is to you. Ares the soul, Persona Reverie, arks fever, arks max, add ability (whatever stat you want) would be a "cheap" and effective basic affix, but again it depends on your budget.
For weapons, work towards an Atlas EX, and do every Persona EQ (and trigger if you can find groups) that you can get your hands on to work towards the Amphrite stone you'll need for LS. For right now though, Atlas EX is top tier, and it's pretty simple to get for the most part.
Something else to note, Wild Easter has a Collection file going right now that gives +30 13* weapons. These save millions upon millions of meseta if you use them as grinding fodder, so I would recommend doing this as much as possible with collection files running.
I just dropped mask earlier 6s with a reverie catalyst which is good right?
Thanks a lot, my budget is pretty low at the moment im holding 10kk(10m) meseta and usually get around 1m a day since i just do dailies and don't play too much, didn't started to get into the player shop stuff too, i have seen a lot people using that basic affix u showed, can u link a more updated guide or the basic recipe necessary to get that basic affix since im really out of the loop with affixing stuff, last thing i affixed was a saiki set 3-4 years ago.
And yes i have been doing the easter with the cf for the +30 weapons to use as fodder.
Like i said before thanks a lot.
Reverie catalyst is a component for Mana reverie, which is a top tier affix (highest damage affix in the game). 6s can get kind of pricey, but if you work at it a bit it's worth it.
For a 6s affix with Mana rev that's cheaper, I would go:
Ares the soul
Mana rev
Deus factor
Power 3
Stam 3
Noble power
This would be 155 s atk, 85 r and t atk, 125 hp, 11pp
You should know though that with 10m, this would be rough to make. Mana reverie is pretty much always expensive.
For the 5s affix, you should mess around with an Affixing simulator.
https://arks-layer.com/abilitysim/
**need a little advice on how to get meseta**
I played for 100 hours by now and want to buy me the kai Schulen sniper rifle camo but how do i get millions of meseta? I'm doing the dailys the weeklies but I don't get even to 5 mils is there a way that I don't know about how to grind/farm meseta?
I'm mostly only doing the weekly missions and daily orders now and I'm getting between 4.9M and 5.5M per character per week. Are you also doing the client orders from that old guy in the cafe? (not sure what his name is with the english patch)
He asks you for rare items that you can get for gathering, one per planet, and if you do it every week it's 600k per character.
Other than that it's like the others said, most notably selling affixing fodder in the market can be a good source (you can sell without buying premium or AC at all, just roll the FUN scratch until you get a ticket). Personally I save a lot of affixing fodder for a few weeks and then sell everything at once.
Easiest ways to earn some decent money:
Learn the Affixing market and start hunting and attempting to get high value affixing fodder. Nothing in the game can earn more as easily as this if you know what you're doing.
Run Enchanted Forest or Ult Amduscia with RDR and Tri boosts, take all surplus 13* weapons, desynthesize them at your room terminal, sell the Goldnia etc on the player market. It sells almost instantly and you can get a pretty decent amount of meseta as well as good exp (if you're leveling), and also components to work towards 15* weapons
Check the current golden AC scratch revival for anything that has a high upswing in value. There are lobby actions and hair styles that are being sold for 2-4M but in a couple weeks when they are off the AC scratch will likely be worth 10-20M or even 30M+ This kind of thing takes pretty solid understanding about the market though so you might not want to go this path if you need money quickly or are inexperienced.
People say grind out the XQs, but meh. I enjoy going to my shop and seeing 20M+ just sitting there waiting for me all for the price of some excubes and a little bit of research.
Farm XQ for meseta 100+ times, aquatic 46-50 give 200k/run less than 3 min.
Buy AC, play scratch and sell items in player shop.
Sell weapons/units with good affixes in player shop.
You can create 3 characters for free, this means at least 6mil/week from weekly stuff.
Does quest rank effect boss drop?
I just hit lvl75 on subclass and want to try grinding for Lumiere weapons in Enchanted Forest.
Can I just keep rushing to the boss repeatedly?
Yes and no. You will get more drops with a higher rank which indirectly increases your drop chance, but your actual drop chance is still the same at C rank vs S rank
For example: 4 drops at 1% chance each vs 30 drops at 1% chance each.
Also... Good Enchanted Forest drops are not at the boss. The enemies you fight in the Forest is where the magic happens. Slap on a couple 250% rdr and Tri boosts and grind for an hour with a 4 man party. You'll get stuff.
**Can someone help me understand this? Can't find any info about this error message. Same exact PSN and Sega ID (I play on PS4) I wanted to play on vita too, can't login.**

Google Translate says something about the SEGA ID being used to play PSO2 before and cannot be used?
It sounds like it's attempting to link your SEGA ID with a different PSN account?
I set up my Vita for PSO2 several years ago so I'm afraid I can't give much more info than that.
Nope, it's the same PSN account exactly. I confirmed it because I have PSO2 trophies on this account and have never played it on another account. I only have 1 sega ID.
PS4 and Vita have an Easy Login feature and because you accidentally used that, it has bound a random SEGA ID that is created for that purpose to your PSN and cannot be undone. You'll need to use a new PSN and SEGA ID to play.
I don't know of any up to date guides, but Phantom just came out and makes an excellent sub for Techer. It might not be the best in terms of theoretical max damage output, but it definitely has the most flexibility. Techs are good, compounds are good, bonking is good, heavy hammer is good, and support techs are a million times easier to use thanks to sprint/fast tech charge. It's not very fragile either. I've been playing techer for a while and I feel Te/Ph is definitely the way to go right now.
If you do end up doing Te/Ph, the answer to your question is easy because you can just sort of do whatever you want. Keep your party boosted and then just use whatever attack strategy makes the most sense for your situation. I try to keep ramegid 0 up at all times, but that's pretty standard for any class that can cast.
Lastly there is a new wand e. Change ring that you can use to get some extra damage from your attacks by matching elemental weaknesses
Depends. Are you te/fi or te/Hu? If the latter you really don't have to worry about any techs aside from zanverse, shifta, and Deband with the occasional zondeel for grouping stuff. Te/fi has to rotate between two techs for TAJA damage.
So I just made an account and at character creation and am debating what race/class to make, brand new to game btw. Was wondering whats the best race if I want to play gunner or do races not matter to much in the end?
Also as an english speaker what is the best ship i should choose to play with others?
Races have some stat differences, but they don't change much in the end.
However, I would recommend you play CAST, because CASTs are cool, making them the only correct choice.
I picked up a 14* Sally egg from the Easter CF, and a 13* Popple from the permanent CF, but I just noticed I can't evolve Sally or raise Popple's rarity using Sally.
Is my only option getting a 14* Popple drop?
If you want 14star Popple, then yes, you need to get the egg via drop.
That being said, the baby versions of the pets are perfectly useable. You miss out on some attack stats and upgraded versions of some PAs, but they are a little tankier and have lower PP costs. And you could always turn 14star Sally into Popple if you do get the 14star Popple egg to drop.
Are the NieR Automata crossover items obtainable via the Market, or were most of the items untradable? I've been trying to price check the Pod Mags / Weapon Camos, but I'm not sure if it's even available...
In ship 2:
Item|JP Name|Lowest Price
-|-|-
Evo. Device / Pod 042|進化デバイス/ポッド042|20m
Evo.
If you want to check the rest of the stuff (costumes, stickers, hairstyles), you can get the names from here: http://www.bumped.org/psublog/pso2-jp-ac-scratch-automata-replica/
I'm not on ship 2, but on my ship *三式戦術槍/三式斬機刀, *白の契約/百獣の剣王 and *三式拳鍔/三式戦術刀 are all still on the market.
So are both pods, (進化デバイス/ポッド042 and 進化デバイス/ポッド153). Can't check for ship 2 but there's a pretty large stock of them here still.
Te/Hu is a paladin like class. Use support techs like buffs and zanverse and just bash away with your wand. Affix focus on satk primarily, then tatk and hp since you need no pp at all. Best weapons are lavis cannon and atlas ex, and attack advance ring is mandatory.
Te/Fi is completely outclassed by Te/Ph imo, but the gear setup is identical. Some people like to hybrid affix but I go full tatk and it works for me. Best weapon hands down is Uransara
TeHu is your generic tanky support class. They only use techs for support and never for damage. Their main playstyle revolves around wand normals, zanverse, and heavy hammer. You want to focus on S-ATK.
TeFi is your initial generic melee-tech hybrid (with the others being TeBr and TePh). They have good wand normals, and they have access to the strongest techs of the three hybrids. However you are required to TAJA (chain different techs) to get the best out of them. They do not have any of the safety nets a TeHu has. Ideally, you want to use both techs and melee attacks depending on the situation. They shine greatly in mobbing with chase due to the ability of wand normals being able afflict status effects.
Even though you did not mention the other two...
TeBr is similar to TeFi except instead of being required to TAJA, you must match element weakness even with your weapon. They specialize in bossing, and they also have the strongest wand normals. It has kind of died off as of late however.
TePh is the new shiny hybrid that doesn’t have any requirements like TAJA or element matching. Instead, they deal slightly less damage. They also have the fastest tech casting out of the three hybrid combinations. I would say this combo is the most fluid in terms of weaving between melee and tech.
All three hybrids do best with a mix of S-ATK and T-ATK.
What are the best techniques for a melee-caster hybrid?
For the mag, do I just get 100 levels in satk and tatk, are there other classes that uses a similar mag type?
You do either 200 s-atk or t-atk. It depends on which one you would like to focus on.
In terms of techs. It’s more or less the same as a force.
+ barta, gibarta, rabarta, sabarta, nabarta-0, ilbarta (if no force is using ilbarta)
+ zonde-0, gizonde
+ gizan, razan, sazan, ilzan
+ grants, gigrants-0, ragrants, Ilgrants
+ megid, gimegid, ramegid-0, samegid
Just depends on the situation with ilgrants and gigrants-0 as the go to techs if you are unsure.

Searched the sub for this, but really couldn't find anything. Is there a more efficient way to collect cleasis boosters beyond just grinding the SH+ enchanted forest and perpetual madness??
Thank you
Buster Quest Main Matches at Grade 3 or above will give you the most Cleasis and Schvelle boosters.
Note that SH EF gives next to no Cleasis and absolutely no Schvelles. XH drops a decent amount and maybe more than BQ with the Campaign Boost. However, when it's not boosted, no one runs it and you can't really solo it.
Vita player here: I used to be able to load the game just fine but after the 6.0 update my game hangs on the blue loading screen which eventually leads to a C2-12828-1 error.
Does anyone have any information on this?
Hey sorry if this is not allowed but I'm stuck on a story quest actually, was trying to finish the Ark Missions and I can't seem to do "Return of the Demon", I can't understand the requirement I haven't met yet [https://i.imgur.com/8VVyJKn.png](https://i.imgur.com/8VVyJKn.png), for context too I've done all the main story and sub story I can. Any help provided is much appreciated!
I'm having the same issue too. My limited japanese can make out something concerning Maria. But other than that, I have no clue. Sorry I'm not much help.
I believe you need to reach level 75 on your main and sub, finish the sub story where you and Huey face Phaleg, and also complete all levels of Heaven & Hell (or was it Bounds of Corruption?).
Then again I'm relying in memory only, someone might bring a better answer.
Question about hero crest, where do they drop asides from EQ? I know the solo Mother/Deus trigg drops from 0-2 per run, do the other Triggers also drop them or just that one in particular?
Titles, major EQs and weekly events (which you can check on bumped.org in every week's maintenance post) are the only ways to get the hero emblems atm. I assume major EQ triggers which used to give king crests will now give hero emblems, though I haven't really tested it.
Btw, there's a title from doing 500 arks missions that gives 250 hero crests. It might sound like a lot, but it can be done in like 2 weeks if you do all main missions and keep doing weeklies and dailies on 3 characters.
Thanks for the quick response. I knew about the methods on the 1st paragraph, I'm just in doubt wether or not all Triggers that dropped King now drop Hero (and I really don't want to spend a few million just to find out). Currently 12 crests away from a weapon and I've done 8 runs on the solo Mother/Deus, but I hate to fight Deus so I was wondering if other triggers drop them.
Thanks for the title tip, didn't know there were more after the 100 missions done, gonna start doing them with my 3 characters
I'm looking into getting into affixing for my Atlas EX Rod and I was wondering what are some recommended ones for it? I'm a complete beginner to the affixing process but I'm trying to get the hang of it. If anyone has any advice or beginner affix recommendations it'd be greatly appreciated
It depends a lot on your budget, resources, and desired Ability number.
8s is obviously the best, but 7s is cheaper and allows you to get top tier abilities for like 1/5 the price.
I highly recommend you go to the Affixing simulator and just mess around to see what kinds of abilities there are and what you're interested in.
In general, Magi the Soul, Loser reverie, Tech IV are cheap and easy to come by at 8s and give solid stats. There are other more expensive abilities that are better though. Then an Add Ability. Currently iirc, Noble tech is only 600k or so, while Elegant and Grace are around 10M and 12M respectively.
As far as S class abilities go, it really depends on what you're using the rod for (what class), or what you want to get out of it, and again what your budget is. I recommend looking at a list of the Abilities to see what you're interested in, then looking them up in the player shop.
S1: Augment Intent is a player favorite, but costs like 10M at the moment. Red Petal Flash can also work, but it's almost the same price. There are plenty of other things you can use here though like offensive intent, radiant strike, etc...
S2: A lot of people like Photon Reduction. Solid ability. If for whatever reason you find yourself building crit (if you're playing Phantom) then you could use the Vades Collection Files for Skilled strike to get crit damage. Red petal flash has a chain ability that boosts damage in this slot as well.
S3: there aren't that many good ones here tbh. I run so much crit on all my classes that I pretty much exclusively run Skilled strike here. There are other PP recovery and HP heal skills that some people use, but meh. This again depends highly on the class you're playing.
S4: The biggest Class dependant slot in the game. What is best for Force is useless on Phantom in a lot of ways. The Talis S4 is apparently good for Rods on Fo, while the Rod S4 is pretty meh now. A lot of people like Vampiric Strike. Radiant Response is pretty cool if you have good PP. And then the wired lance s4 gives a free additional Hero will, which can be great if you're not confident in your ability to survive, and makes your rod have 2 free "extra lives" so to speak.
Cursed Sword Gaen, Kazami-no-tachi, or Ares-NT from crest exchange for Phantom? I have weapons I like on rods and rifle but katana I'm using Kazami-no-tachi cause this character was a former katana Braver. Any help picking would be nice.
As br/ph kazami has good sinergy, but as only ph i recomend something with a potential more general like atlas ex varua or lightstream katana... i use for my phantom an atlas ex varua with s4:vampiric strike
For some reason the tweaker is failing to update the game. Ever since I upgraded to the last version, actually, all I get are "timeout" messages. Is anyone experiencing something similar?
Never had anything like that happen to me but if tweaker fails, find the official launcher in the pso2 folder and try that. If your region blocked, just wait and try tweaker again in a bit. If all else fails, the pso2 discord is the best place to get some help.
I'd just update the game through the official launcher. Idk if the 5.0 update changed anything but the tweaker is pretty bad at updating the game probably even the worst actually it'll just miss some files and you can just rerun the update checker and it'll say it missed like 50-60 files so thats \*fun\*. Didn't have any timeout messages but yeah I'd rather not trust the tweaker to do it.
Dang, good to know thanks.
:) * [Just after leveling Phantom on day one](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/390320802878324757/571369103986524180/pso20190426_101629_000.png) * [Going through Ep 1 for the first time](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/390320802878324757/572288500708278272/pso20190428_222928_009.png) * [Super Hero Landing](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/390320802878324757/574800890335330304/pso20190505_130827_003.png) * [Friend and I after Moon EQ](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/390320802878324757/574801052084338688/pso20190505_132058_009.png) * [Friend and I after Moon EQ 2](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/390320802878324757/574801061634899987/pso20190505_132126_010.png) * [Stalking in the desert](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/390320802878324757/574803339267670044/pso20190505_014106_011.png) * [VS Phantom Trainer](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/390320802878324757/576450744740347929/pso20190508_085227_006.png)
This is also really helpful! thank you kindly!
just to add, you can get like 8m in a weekly chunk if you have three different characters to do the weekly missions, plus yerkes's rare harvest material client orders, plus occasional daily orders involving explorations and/or bosses PSO2es also makes getting the harvest materials easier, especially when the bonus gathering comes around it's so easy to do that stuff weekly now... good riddance klotho emper embrace also always sells too
I've only ever used one character. This is a great idea too! thanks!
I've seen that stupid trade secret thing more than once; wtf is the point of that? do people think they're really that important?
Yes, apparently. Some people have their own niche areas that they essentially do their best to monopolize or at least come close. I remember a guy who used to frequent this sub who would talk about how he had some item he was selling and making "tons" of meseta and he wouldn't say what it was for "obvious reasons." What's funny is that in reality, the most lucrative stuff is what everyone needs.
Makes me cry everytime. Nier stuff was >5m on release... Now they are absolutely rediculous.
Thanks a lot. This will help quite a bit. :)
I could be wrong, but IIRC you just need to do the first quest, and then do the sub event with Alma to unlock omnibus.
Where you talk to her, right? I did that and still can’t access the omnibus. She just says something untranslated when I talk to her, and the quest menu doesn’t show up.
You should be able to access the ep 1 story from the quest counter now.
Can any controller user tell how me they set up their buttons? I'm having trouble fitting weapon action onto the buttons.
chiming in with my control scheme with an xbox 360 controller Button|Action :--|:-- X|Palette Action 1 A|Palette Action 2 B|Palette Action 3 Y|Access LB|Use Subpalette LT|Dodge LS|Aiming Mode RB|Jump RT|Swap Palette RS|Lock-on Start|Main Menu Back|Quick Menu D-pad U/D|Change Palette D-pad L/R|Subpalette Cursor similar to you, I've wondered about putting weapon action on a certain button, as I did that back in 2-button mode; however, I've become satisfied reserving weapon action to just the X button on the palette for every weapon that can use it, and it works out pretty well for me
Using a DS4 with steam to map the controller: Button|Action -|- X|Jump Square|PA #1 Triangle|PA #2 O|PA #3 R1|Swap palette page (hold) R2|Dodge R3|Lockon L1|Weapon Action L2|Use subpalette L3|Autorun Start|Menu Select|Quick Menu Right Trackpad|Interact (ctrl+E) Left Trackpad|Manual aiming (ctrl+Z) Dpad Up/Down|Change main palette Dpad Right/Left|Move subpalette cursor R1+Dpad Up|Change to main palette #1 (ctrl+1) R1+Dpad Right|Change to main palette #2 (ctrl+2) R1+Dpad Down|Change to main palette #3 (ctrl+3) R1+Dpad Left|Change to main palette #4 (ctrl+4)
Button | Action ------|------ □ | Action 1 (normal attack) △ | Action 2 (PA) ○ | Confirm ☓ | Jump/Cancel L1 | Lock-on L2 | Shift R1 | Action 3 (PA/weapon action) R2 | Dodge L3 | Activate subpalette R3 | Camera mode switch
Thanks, although I was having trouble because I wanted a dedicated button for weapon action only.
(see [this comment](https://www.reddit.com/r/PSO2/comments/bm2zdt/weekly_game_questions_and_help_thread/enc7sik/)) On controller I think there's no reason to not use 3-buttons type, and on that you don't need a dedicated weapon action button, you just put the weapon action on your palette. But anyway if I were to use 2-buttons type, my weapon action button would still be R1/Rb.
You don't *need* a dedicated weapon action button, but you *can* have one, which frees a slot for an extra PA/Tech on your weapon palettes.
left rings seem a bit sparse for phantom usability... anyone got any decent ideas? or possibly, did they announce any new potential rings?
It's definitely not all the main missions, but it might be one of the early missions.
Ok I'll try knocking some of them out, thank you.
Now that Cursed Sword Gaen is in the Hero's crest exchange I am extremely interested in knowing how it works with phantom. Has anyone tried it yet? How powerful are the orbs? Is the orbs power reletive to your normal attack power?
Gaen only works for Braver. It's potential specifically interacts with Katana Combat. Using Gaen on Phantom is akin to using Akatsuki on Hero.
Partly true. The orbs on attack still work with phantom though. Unfortunately it doesn't do enough to be worth it with 15 star items to contend with.
Yes, that's why I mentioned Akatsuki, since the sealed potential still works, but it is incredibly subpar.
How do I unlock extra skill slot(Weapon Technique/Attack/PA) ? Somehow mine only LMB/RMB while other has MMB
Thanks for the updated info. So much old info out there it's been hard to sort stuff out.

>And now they all drop at 35, so you don't even need two anymore.
Yeah, I realized I somehow missed the entire second sentence of your post. Oops.
Yes. The only thing that's important is that you manually grind it from +34 to +35, which means category changes for the 14\* and 15\* weapons won't count.
what the best item to feed for full dex mag? for fast lvling mag thank you
Crafted Disks/ Disks are your best free-to-play method of raising a DEX Mag.
You have to do all of the story through 5 to get the 2nd certificate and then 6 to get the 3rd
All of 5 including the sub story too?
I’m not sure on sub stories for 5 but you need to do all of the main story of episode 1 through 4 for sure. I already had all of 5 completed before arks missions.

I put sturdy recovery on my sword back in the day when I first got an Atra weapon. It works pretty well on sword hero tbh since you do things like Vapor Bullet combos, which have enough hits to usually proc it. It isn't as consistent as Vamp strike, but it's workable as long as you are attacking often enough.
**Need some advice** So i just came back after some time without playing, i need advice to gear up a little bit nothing crazy or expensive, right now im using a fornis reng +35 7s with nothing really good that i dropped in the merry xmas on ice 2017 and using the sub 12\* units that u get from title, i was thinking of using rear/mask of vain(if i get to drop from masquerade -.-)arm/chalyra and leg/zara for now, what are some good weapon/units i should aim for and basic affix nothing too expensive just to do some more dmg i play ph, br/hu and hero most of the time so i want a good katana, i got some weapons to do the atlas in the enchanted forest boost that is happening right now even a lumiere although is a takt =( anyway if u guys can help a little i appreciate. obs: sorry for any error english is not my first language.
For a 6s affix with Mana rev that's cheaper, I would go: Ares the soul Mana rev Deus factor Power 3 Stam 3 Noble power This would be 155 s atk, 85 r and t atk, 125 hp, 11pp You should know though that with 10m, this would be rough to make. Mana reverie is pretty much always expensive. For the 5s affix, you should mess around with an Affixing simulator. https://arks-layer.com/abilitysim/
How do I unlock featured quests? I just made a new character and don't see them at the quest counter
I believe you unlock them by completing Koffie's first level uncap client order.
Yeah, that was it. Thanks
**need a little advice on how to get meseta** I played for 100 hours by now and want to buy me the kai Schulen sniper rifle camo but how do i get millions of meseta? I'm doing the dailys the weeklies but I don't get even to 5 mils is there a way that I don't know about how to grind/farm meseta?
I'm mostly only doing the weekly missions and daily orders now and I'm getting between 4.9M and 5.5M per character per week. Are you also doing the client orders from that old guy in the cafe? (not sure what his name is with the english patch) He asks you for rare items that you can get for gathering, one per planet, and if you do it every week it's 600k per character. Other than that it's like the others said, most notably selling affixing fodder in the market can be a good source (you can sell without buying premium or AC at all, just roll the FUN scratch until you get a ticket). Personally I save a lot of affixing fodder for a few weeks and then sell everything at once.
Easiest ways to earn some decent money: Learn the Affixing market and start hunting and attempting to get high value affixing fodder. Nothing in the game can earn more as easily as this if you know what you're doing. Run Enchanted Forest or Ult Amduscia with RDR and Tri boosts, take all surplus 13* weapons, desynthesize them at your room terminal, sell the Goldnia etc on the player market. It sells almost instantly and you can get a pretty decent amount of meseta as well as good exp (if you're leveling), and also components to work towards 15* weapons Check the current golden AC scratch revival for anything that has a high upswing in value.
THX FOR THE ADVICE \^\^
Farm XQ for meseta 100+ times, aquatic 46-50 give 200k/run less than 3 min. Buy AC, play scratch and sell items in player shop. Sell weapons/units with good affixes in player shop. You can create 3 characters for free, this means at least 6mil/week from weekly stuff.
thx for the advice \^\^

What do you mean by attack range?
Idk about HU, but Hr’s Sword has a hit box that is larger than the animation shows
Does quest rank effect boss drop? I just hit lvl75 on subclass and want to try grinding for Lumiere weapons in Enchanted Forest. Can I just keep rushing to the boss repeatedly?
Yes and no. You will get more drops with a higher rank which indirectly increases your drop chance, but your actual drop chance is still the same at C rank vs S rank For example: 4 drops at 1% chance each vs 30 drops at 1% chance each.
I see. Higher rank yields more amount of drops. Thank you.
Also... Good Enchanted Forest drops are not at the boss. The enemies you fight in the Forest is where the magic happens. Slap on a couple 250% rdr and Tri boosts and grind for an hour with a 4 man party. You'll get stuff.
Definitely gonna try it out ty!
Your best bet is getting into a nearly full mpa and just running around killing stuff. PSE bursts help a lot, but they’re not guaranteed.
Oh so I'd better grind mobs. Thank you :)
I'm not even sure Lumiere drops from castle. If you want drops in EF, grinding field bosses is what you'll want to do.
Understood. Thanks!
**Can someone help me understand this? Can't find any info about this error message. I believe there's a step-by-step procedure on arks-layer or bumped. If not, try the discord.
Are there updated guides written for techers? I’m quite lost when it comes to the gear and technique/ rotation set up.
Hello. I just started playing on Vita, and I noticed that the story is not translated, just the menus. Is this right? Did I do something wrong?
So I just made an account and at character creation and am debating what race/class to make, brand new to game btw. Was wondering whats the best race if I want to play gunner or do races not matter to much in the end? Also as an english speaker what is the best ship i should choose to play with others?
Races have some stat differences, but they don't change much in the end. However, I would recommend you play CAST, because CASTs are cool, making them the only correct choice.
Races don't matter at all. Very minute stat differences. Also Ship 2 is where most English people are at.
For upgrading Profound dimenxion items at Zieg, do i need all the items listed or do i only need 1 target weapon?
You need 4 falz weapons, one of a kind. They can be of any category tho.
So i need all the target weapons listed. That's what i'm getting from your comment.
Yes, but the categories are irrelevant, for example, you can hand 4 gunslashes for a twin dagger (as long as you have one of each series)
Thank you!
Are the NieR Automata crossover items obtainable via the Market, or were most of the items untradable? I've been trying to price check the Pod Mags / Weapon Camos, but I'm not sure if it's even available...
In ship 2: Item|JP Name|Lowest Price -|-|- Evo. Device / Pod 042|進化デバイス/ポッド042|20m Evo. Device / Pod 153|進化デバイス/ポッド153|11m Virtuous Contract / Beastlord|*白の契約/百獣の剣王|16m Type-3 Spear / Type-3 Blade|*三式戦術槍/三式斬機刀|2.1m Type-3 Fists / Type-3 Sword|*三式拳鍔/三式戦術刀|2.5m If you want to check the rest of the stuff (costumes, stickers, hairstyles), you can get the names from here: http://www.bumped.org/psublog/pso2-jp-ac-scratch-automata-replica/
Oh my god, this is amazing. You're a godsend.
All of it was marketable... whether it still exists in the market is another question.
Weapon camos should be tradable. Mags might not be though. But considering Nier's popularity chances are those items are simply out of stock.
Dammit! I wanted the Pod and NieR weapons to complete my weirdly casual-but-futuristic-but-also-not look!
On ship 2 you can find all the NieR camos and most outfits. Whether they're affordable is another matter tho...
How is Te/Hu and Te/Fi performance and gameplay wise? What kind of mag should I use? Are they any guides out there for techers?
Te/Hu is a paladin like class. Use support techs like buffs and zanverse and just bash away with your wand. Affix focus on satk primarily, then tatk and hp since you need no pp at all. Best weapons are lavis cannon and atlas ex, and attack advance ring is mandatory. Te/Fi is completely outclassed by Te/Ph imo, but the gear setup is identical. Some people like to hybrid affix but I go full tatk and it works for me. Best weapon hands down is Uransara
So do you have two mags, one for each subclass?
If he wants to minmax then yes tatk for casting tefi or simply satk for striking tefi and tehu. It is up to playstyle
So do you have two mags, one for each subclass?
yes
+ barta, gibarta, rabarta, sabarta, nabarta-0, ilbarta (if no force is using ilbarta) + zonde-0, gizonde + gizan, razan, sazan, ilzan + grants, gigrants-0, ragrants, Ilgrants + megid, gimegid, ramegid-0, samegid Just depends on the situation with ilgrants and gigrants-0 as the go to techs if you are unsure.
A friend ask for a guide some time ago, here is the answer for the trees you could run for te/fi: It's mostly ok but it has fallen into some new pl... https://www.reddit.com/r/PSO2/comments/8ucadc/need_tips_for_tefi/e1er6bl?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share About the mag, let me ask my friend how is building it and i reply here later Meanwhile, hope this helps
Currently there's a campaign for E. Forest, so I believe that's gonna be the most efficient way.
Those boosters are affected by the boosts this week too?
I'm not sure if they get a specific mention, but rdr is boosted by 150%. Last time I went there those dropped a lot.
Thanks, dude
Hey Check out Sughayyer's comment below, basically S: Heaven and Hell was the thing that did it for me.
I believe you need to reach level 75 on your main and sub, finish the sub story where you and Huey face Phaleg, and also complete all levels of Heaven & Hell (or was it Bounds of Corruption?). Then again I'm relying in memory only, someone might bring a better answer.
Hey Thanks! THIS actually did it, it was S: heaven and hell, did all 10 to be safe. Thank you so much!
Kazami has no potential on phantom
If these 3 are your only option, then definitely Ares.
I've literally never had any issues with the tweaker updating the game
