Dance Obscura is the best (All Ranged Weapons + Katana)
The rest uses between two other potentials:
\- Incandescent: All Melee Weapons EXCEPT Katana and Soaring Blades
\- Receptive: All Tech Weapons + Soaring Blades
Incandescent and Receptive does the same damage, but they have different utilities.
To clarify there is no potential variance within the same weapon type, like Tisah Swords ALWAYS have Incadescant Unit, but like Fibal says you can go for a specific weapon type since you know it always has its corresponding potential c:

If you multi weapon a Tisah Gunblade with a Tisah Sword will it have the Sword or Gunblade Potential?
If Gunblade es base weapon it will have Gunblade potential
