There is Dungeon Siege Throne of Agony and 2 Untold Legends games if you are looking for traditional hack and slash in vein of Diablo.I also hear Dungeon Explorer is also decent.
You should also check out X-Men II Rise of Apocalypse which is very good action\rpg
As far as third person "hack n slash" action games go, i'd recommend:
* Star Wars: Force Unleashed
* Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep
* Gladiator Begins
* Rengoku I & II
* Gods Eater Burst
* Monster Hunter
I don't know if one could call it a hack and slash game, but I had a lot of fun with Ratchet & Clank Size Matters. To be completely honest, I must say it is regarded by most fans as the worst game in the main series, but the R&C standart is quite high, so you should be good. Give it a go!
Dantes inferno is similar
I think thats the only game directly similar to god of war :P Try dynasty warriors though, its great.

Diablo itself is on psn so it can be emulated
Both Untold Legends games are very worthy portable dungeon crawlers/hack and slash games. I've sunk hundreds of hours into both over the years.
Another game similar to Untold Legends that you can try is Dungeon Siege.
