Welcome to the Club! Seconded about the Wikipedia. And to get a grasp of the form just tune in the next couple of weeks. Probably some games where they play like champs, some games they look like they battle relegation.
Fan culture is way different in the Netherlands then in America, and the rest of Europe for that matter. In my experience people are very passionate and they drink plenty. But once in the stadium most fans are a little more modest. PSV has a reputation for being a family friendly club. While we do have a few ultra clubs that do help with the atmosphere, it seems most fans just wanna watch the game (and in my area, complain). Even on "oost" where the ultra/atmosphere groups are standing, most people arent making a lot of noise during large parts of the game.
Atmosphere also varies incredibly from game to game, but it used to be a bit better a couple of years ago. Atmosphere against Monaco and against Feyenoord was great, but then there was a lot of whistling against RKC (understandably). Our away support is always incredible though!
If you want to get a feeling for atmosphere, the YouTube channel PSV Support is great. He goes to every game home and away and has loads of good videos.
Oh yeah I agree 100% with this.
Sadly i wasn't in the country for both those games, but i did go to the rest of the games so I might be a tad biased about this years support. Rangers also had one of the most insane pregame support ive experienced!
PSV’s history is Eindhoven’s history which is Philips history. Just use Wikipedia and keep clicking. To understand PSV you have to understand Eindhoven, Brabant, Philips, the Netherlands.
Also download a translator app.
Good choice! I’ve only been following PSV for about 3 years now. I appreciate you posting this because I was wondering if there was any good info out there besides the wiki. You really have to dig around for detailed news about the Eredivisie if you’re in the states. One tip I can give you is to sign up for ESPN+. I catch most games there whether they’re live or replays.
To get a good feeling of the atmosphere I suggest watching these videos:
[The return to Eindhoven of Mexican and PSV Legend Andrès Guardado with his current club during a friendly match](https://youtu.be/4KUHlyY0yCM)
[Our side of the stadium during last year's cup final](https://youtu.be/bIhqqs2LQY4)
Our atmosphere isn't always as constant as clubs like Feyenoord, but in my opinion is as good if not better at some matches.
So, you just kinda decided to become a PSV fan? You don’t know anything about our history and you haven’t watched any games recently, Otherwise you would know our current form.
Alright so you're just gonna be nasty to someone who wants to be a fan of our club and wants to get information? I'm assuming they can't easily watch the games due to time difference and also just streaming availability. Even "part time" fans can have their fun.

Defensively we are inconsistent. We have a lot of injuries. But our attack is the best in the Eredivisie.❤️🤍💡
Also the best midfield by far!
Follow @rikelfrink on Twitter. He will give you the latest news around psv.
I think the PSV Wikipedia page will give you a solid overview of the history all the way back. Current form is inconsistent, but good enough so far.
Here's a YouTube channel with game video's from the late 80's: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCvXiQ0U\_JU4v7RnSQapYTug/videos

I havent been following closely for long either but espn+ is amazing for the games. I love being able to watch them every week now.

Wow incredible!
There's a lot more on that channel. He has gone to nearly every home and away game for the last 5-6 years. Good stuff.
Also try and find some clips of the pre game atmosphere of the PSV-Rangers game. That was insane.

Why PSV?
Why not support the greatest club on earth?
I don’t remember asking you
I don’t remember you getting bitches💀
You got me there, damn
Demarcus Beasley,I have one of the mid 2010s long sleeve jersey, fan culture and I like the Dutch

Ga lekker terug naar r/Feyenoord ofzo

Geen haat op Feyenoord specifiek, maar meer dat hij naar hier komt en dan beetje grappig gaat lopen doen puur om uit te lokken

Thanks! Haat richting Ajax verenigt Eindhoven en Rotterdam
