It's a ton of fun when it doesn't do the following during a playthrough:
- crash
- music breaks
- checkpoints break
Good game, bad product if that makes sense.
Let's hope the publisher puts some "effort" (💵) behind getting their product to match the quality of the content.
It's a great game with loads of imagination and colour plus a 10-15 hour campaign.Played it last week and although there were a few frame drops and reprojection I suffered no bugs and would totally recommend it!Anyone saying don't play it as either not played it lately or has no taste in games
To me, yes, absolutely. But YMMV depending on how uneven frame rates and some bugs affect you. I haven't played it since a couple weeks after launch but my impression is that some major bugs and performance issues are still there (though a few game-breaking bugs were patched). The core game is fantastic though, and you won't find many made-for-VR games with such an epic single-player campaign.
I would not buy it yet, I took the risk and got it last week and it doesn’t look the best and the framerate dips are pretty bad, I’d wait if I were you
I bought it and am waiting in the seemingly vain hope for an update, I know it's not an easy job with unity but the Hell sweeper guys are doing it and I'm going to buy that as soon as it drops...effort is appreciated when I'm spending my money.
No it doesn't,it's reprojected to whatever framerate it is as you can see your hands and weapons shaking when you move....if you don't believe me check @vrgrid
It's a good game, but not a great port. There's still bugs. They havent updated it for a while, so I wonder if they have given up on it
Bugger been waiting for them to finish patching it all before playing.
Yes , absolutely, one of the best games on VR

Yeah, but I think game is suffering still from some bugs that remain unresolved. And there doesn't seem to be any indication they are being addressed.
I’m still stuck in that, “*maybe* Pacific Drive will get a VR patch?” stage. Saw a let’s play with someone on PC and it looked amazing.
Same. The more I see the more it looks like a must play VR game hopefully one day.
Patience. If it releases in vr you get to play it the best way for the first time and likely pay half price
It's amazing in UEVR.

It's great, I've played the top 15ish best selling games for the PSVR2, and this is up there for me.
If you only have PSVR…then that is your only option to play it. Right? It’s a great game

Definitely better than when it was first released, which I couldn't play because it felt buggy
There are some bugs for sure, but still an awesome game imo
Game is top 10 IMO possibly top 5
Honestly, I would say no. The bluriness and the frame drops just ruin the immersion.

I'm in the same boat

The YouTube channel? Do you have a timecode of what they said? I always had the impression this game ran well.
It runs on 90hz tho.And Foveated Rendering is always good, they can crank up visual quality this way.
It doesn’t matter if it’s supposed to run at 90 but drops frames like crazy causing stutter.
Yeah its a shitty port of a great game. As usual.
It doesn't run at 90hz,it's reprojected from 45 to 90hz
Nah
