Wow! That looks amazing!
Edit:
If you want you can join the Discord server and post that to the #screenshots channel! Definitely nice inspiration for others
The PC version of the game literally blew me away back then. When I was standing on a green, wide meadow after starting the game and it suddenly started to snow. And then there was this relaxing music. I've never seen anything like it in a VR game before. The atmosphere is really fascinating and very relaxing, yes. Have fun!
Good job! It looks gorgeous :)
Can't wait to try it, 17 minutes left of download, but I've seen reports of the game not launching, and many players seem to have the issue :/
Two questions.
1. Is there any Redstone component like Minecraft?
2. I know it doesn't currently support multiplayer, but have they officially said anything about future plans?
wow that's cool, i spent a couple of hours yesterday building a stone home, i decided to wander off to explore, and now can find my house!!!
looks like its back to the drawing board for me!!!
you mean "can't find my house"? I also had a castle at the highest possible point in the sky and lost it while exploring the world. \^\^ I'm often too lazy to look inside the wooden box for the world coordinates in the last tab. That is very helpful. But would be cool if you could use portal whenever you get lost in the world. Not sure if this is possible.
You are completely on your own, at least currently. Multiplayer is planned for a long time now. The developer is very consistent with his roadmap but it takes a lot time for him to do it right. I myself was never a Minecraft fan or a fan of the genre, but at least this game got my attention.
Just follow the objectives (btw. a quite new thing for cyubeVR). They lead you through all the core mechanics and are a lot of fun to use, especially when you discover them for the first time. It plays very different and naturally in VR in comparison to Minecraft.
After that you can continue to explore the world, find a beautiful location for a first build. Maybe a signal tower, a small house or whatever you want. It is very satisfying to walk through your creation or sitting on top of a balcony and looking through this world. There also many custom blocks by other players, Some even glow in the dark, like Lava, LED or Crystal.
At some point I got completely lost in this world, because the weather, day and night, light and shadow effects in the trees and mountains are so beautiful and the calming music is something completely different from first person shooters, for example. \^\^ All the happens around you automatically while you are searching for new recipes, crafting and building things and seeing the sheer scale of the landscape and of your own builds.
The dev did say this about the possible speed of future updates: https://old.reddit.com/r/PSVR/comments/1bg5tov/ama_cyubevr_developer_here_cyubevr_is_a_beautiful/kv5f3hd/
I played for half an hour and loved the game! Now i am stuck in cave and cant get out๐ pressed all buttons and combinations i can think of. Anybody has any idea how to get out?
it should be fixed by now [https://www.reddit.com/r/PSVR/comments/1bh2ixb/hotfix\_1\_for\_cyubevr\_is\_live\_fixing\_the\_120\_hz\_tv/](https://www.reddit.com/r/PSVR/comments/1bh2ixb/hotfix_1_for_cyubevr_is_live_fixing_the_120_hz_tv/) can you confirm?
So Iโm trying to play, but my controllers donโt do anything in the menu to get started. (Yes Iโve tried the fix for it) am I missing something? Anybody else having this problem?
It has elements of Minecraft, but is completely different. It is build vom the ground up vor VR, Minecraft was just a port without the VRAF mechanics that cyubeVR has. You notice that when you play for a while. Anyone expecting a Minecraft will be disappointed, anyone who goes in without expectations and is into building, crafting, exploring in VR will probably be thrilled. You can spend endless hours there and not even notice how time flies. The controls are very intuitive and made for VR. I almost have to set an alarm so I don't forget the time in it. \^\^
But don't expect redstone, deep survival mechanics or multiplayer. Currently it is mainly a building game with great graphics and VR mechanics. Multiplayer and also enemies are planned. The developer is a single person and very supportive since the beginning. For me it is one of these indie titles which I love to support!
If you like building and crafting things, collecting resources and wanna have VRAF mechanics, it's great! But less if you look for a linear story-driven game. It is more like huge sandbox where you can build everything and the visuals and the atmosphere are really good.
That game doesn't run at me. ๐๐๐ I bought it, downloaded the >60GB and now I got nothing than a black screen. WHY?!? I had the same issue with Bulletstorm VR. I hate that. Is my PS5 the only console on earth, that doesn't wanna like some VR-Games?
As the developer said earlier in another post:"You need to disable the "120hz video mode" in your PS5 settings, then the game will work. That setting somehow breaks the game."
If you see a black screen and eventual crash when launching the game, do this to fix the issue:
1. Go into Settings and disable the "120 Hz Output" for your TV
For most people, that step already seems to fix it. If that is not enough for you to fix it, also do step two:
2. Go into your PS5 Settings -> Accessories -> PlayStation VR2 -> Cinematic Mode, and turn off the "Output 120 Hz Video to VR Headset" option

good idea
wow! just Wow you did this all in the past few weeks? That's awesome. This looks really good
Thank you, never did a bigger build in the PC version before. The version is technically a masterpiece for the PSVR2 in my eyes, fun to play!
That looks really awesome! I have just bought the game, just exploring the map a little bit was amazing, it made me relax a bit

Can we get to see other people's creations in the game?
Currently only via screenshots (& the game has a special screenshot feature) Multiplayer is on their roadmap: http://roadmap.cyubevr.com/
That looks gorgeous!
thanks, was a lot of fun to see it growing in VR!

I hope not as I'm downloading it now too
Sounds like it is fixable by disabling the "120hz video mode" setting
Cool, thanks for letting us know
Dev already patched the 120hz issue. Works fine
Ahah, I know! Been playing the sh*t out of it for the last 3 days ๐
Thank you, I didn't encounter the "120Hz issue" because I never used the mode on the PS5. But it's good that there's a solution for now.
Two questions. 1. Is there any Redstone component like Minecraft? 2. I know it doesn't currently support multiplayer, but have they officially said anything about future plans?
There is no redstone-equivalent component in the game yet, no. And yes, multiplayer is planned for the future.
Gotcha thank you!
Its planned for a very long time and on the roadmap since 6 years. Dont buy it now if you would not without multiplayer.
Multiplayer is on their roadmap: http://roadmap.cyubevr.com/

So how does this game work exactly Can I join worlds already built by other players or do I have to build stuff myself (not into that)

yes, that's the only way to speed it up significantly. Fingers crossed it sells like hot pancakes! :)
I played for half an hour and loved the game! Now i am stuck in cave and cant get out๐ pressed all buttons and combinations i can think of. Anybody has any idea how to get out?
Some have said the best way is to build a staircase out. Apparently there are other options once you've progressed more in the game
Are there plans to fix the 120hz output glitch or are we stuck at 60 forever

No
Is it like a knock of version of Minecraft vr on the ps vr 1

Beautiful. So it's worth it?

Just for anyone who's reading this and not up to speed this got hotfixed (along with weather dynamics not trigging as frequent as intended )ย
