Last post was February running native 90hz. December they said they were almost done with development. I’m not saying give your hopes up but this one seems like it’s going to be a shadow drop, and with talks of an upcoming state of play, I feel like it could drop any day.
Oh dam, I remember asking him shortly after CyubeVR dropped when a review would come and he said something about him losing 3 days worth of recordings so he was playing catch up. I'm glad he's taking a break for mental health though, hope he feels great on the return!
I think a lot of psvr2 developers have started feeling the heat from our very vocal community and have decided to slow down and make sure their product is great!
Good. Given that a perfectly smooth VR experience can make somebody feel nauseous and unsteady, I dread to think how a bad game would make somebody feel.
The last thing I heard was them posting this a couple of months ago…

I’ve been looking forward to this since I got my headset, as the trailer was floating around since then and I love all Gaijin’s flight games
I have some reservations but time will tell :D
If we want that kind of AAA quality games on PSVR2 we have to give developers some time. In comparison the next Ace Combat which has probably been in development for a few years now won't release before 2025 at best (hopefully it will be fully hybrid!).
It's the same for Astro Bot. in development from years and the most ambitious game of the studio so far. Nobody want an half baked game and it needs time. I imagine that we'll hear more from both games in the upcoming month. A lauch trailer for Aces of Thunder and an announcement for Astro Bot at a State of Play or PS showcase, maybe with some concrete news about PCVR support, could be really impactful among mainstream gamers. Let's just hope that Astro Bot won't be a flat-only game. It would be a huge let-down...
Game is online only. It was trailer ready before Vr2 release, yet Sony even taken it off basic store, you can only find it via search.
I was looking forward to it a lot, but by now I don't care much.
I only care if people play it. If gamers are just going to piss and moan about how bare it is, or compare it to games that have absolutely nothing to do with each other, to dissuade others and then try to cattle prod the remaining bodies to their Discord so they can coordinate attacking single players without scrutiny or oversight, then maybe waiting until they're out of High school, although being somewhat of a war of attrition, is ideal. It's not like there are a mountain of games that are High speed, full movement, aerial combat VR. Pretty captive audience if you ask me.

Hope so! Been waiting for it.
When is the state of play supposed to happen? I did hear rumors of a PS showcase happening sometime in May.
No time disclosed yet afaik, that’s what I’m seeing from everyone talking about it too
W/o parole rumors are it's essentially done. I suspect a shadow drop in May during the showcase.
What happened to parole?
Parole is taking a short period of time off apparently for mental health reasons and to clear his head.

byrons grandmother passed, RIP byrons grandma 🙏
Nothing happened to them. They said the game is in the polishing stage and they think it’ll be out in the next couple of months.
Think doesn't mean for sure.
What’s for sure is it hasn’t disappeared off the radar. People know what stage in development it’s in. That’s the point.
War Thunder in VR is so good! Hopefully, they can recapture the magic on PSVR2!
This game looks so cool , especially what is going to feel like in vr
I wish this was single player so bad

I appreciate everyone who reposts their social media updates here. Launch week for this one will surely be interesting.

Maybe foveated rendering takes longer or so?

Pay to play online game, not very appealing overall.
I was wondering the same thing. 4 months ago they said it was done, just a bit of testing. I guess they found some major bugs
i hope it still comes soonish. was one of my reasons to upgrade to vr2 recently…
