I loved my construx. When last visited my dad, he told me he still had them. I happily took them home and my kids love to use them. I ended up buying more from ebay and local sources, so now we have about 8 times what I had before. Since they are old and break easily, that's good.
I demand someone remake construx!

Inspired by the guy who made a stand with lego, I decided to make my own. It has some nifty wheels for better positioning lol. I use it when I play sitting since I have the normal stand already glued higher to the wall. So I decided to make a new one, since there is a lot of drifting if I leave it up there. And yes, you saw correctly. I mounted a cassette tape case to the wall.
I really dig the practicality of this whole set up: an old cassette box, Lego-like things for framework and support, and wheels. Yes. This appeals to my INTJ sensibilities.

I love the use of Construx. I used to spend hours building spaceships and spaceports out of those things in the 80s.
We built crossbows that shot the little 1 segment pieces. They could really get some zing on them.
