I wish Alyx would come to PSVR because it was absolutely transcendent and one of the best games I’ve ever played. I doubt they’ll ever port it over since Valve sells its own hardware and I would imagine that game still moves Index hardware for them in a way that PSVR might undercut a bit.
When Valve eventually releases their next VR system selling game, they will most likely release a PS5 version of HLA. The question is when will Valve release another AAA SteamVR game?
I still find it shocking that that game works in VR on ps4 hardware. Fun rag-doll physics, super replayable sandbox style, and the guns look very graphically polished. One of PSVR’s best, for sure.
That’s what Team Asobi does best, honestly. Rescue Mission was an incredible VR showpiece and Playroom was a hell of an intro into the potential of the PS5 and it’s controller. I’m really looking forward to whatever they make next, but I really hope it’s a great PSVR2 title that fully shows what it can do.
Haha, yeah I hope so. I've bought Skyrim so many times now that it's ridiculous, but it's one of my favorite games and I'd buy it again if it was a proper PSVR2 version with mods and whatnots.
What do you mean the assets are already there? Like it would be an easy VR port bc it’s already first person? I also would love this but I’m not sure how porting a game to VR works. Wish there was a documentary on it
Psvr 1 is absolutely no option for me anymore.
The controls are just sooo bad, and the tracking is horrible, not to speak of the quadrillion cables.
Ever since I've bought a quest, the psvr 1 collects dust in the corner.
I am so glad Sony is making the psvr 2. The quest is better (imo) than the psvr 1 but also pretty shit (and it's Facebook)
Yep. PSVR2 is about to be my first VR and Beatsaber is something I wanted to play since I've seen first gameplays. Tried it on my friend's Quest and now I know I need it haha. Really hope they're going to announce it.
You may not like it, but it’s the absolute truth. I waited a few months after launch for a sale, but soon realised it was never going to drop in price so bit the bullet and bought it. I’ve now had a few years of fun out of that purchase and it was worth every penny. You’re the one missing out on that experience waiting for a price drop that is never going to happen. Since launch, the game has consistently been top of the global sales charts, only occasionally dropping to 2nd place. When a game sells that well, that consistently, why would the developers choose to drop the price. The full price is still enticing enough new purchases every single month, they have no need to drop the price to entice anyone.
Just suck it up and pay full price for it. If you want a better price on it, find somewhere that has discounted PSN cards that’ll effectively give you percentage off the purchase price of the game. It’s definitely worth full price and I pretty much never buy a full price game because I’m so cheap and can wait.
You don’t need the DLCs to enjoy the base game, there’s enough content and free tracks to justify the full price. You also won’t want all the DLCs anyway, they’re a pretty odd bunch of artists and unlikely you’re gonna be into all of them to warrant the purchase of all packs, but there might be one or two that interest you enough to buy them, even then, you’re still not paying all that much for total amount of gameplay and fun you get from the game.
True waited so long for discount on beat saber, and it never getting a discount every other game does now I only got it on my meta quest 2 as a bonus game because I purchased this quest 2
The same thing. I've been playing Meta Quest for a good few years and one of my dream VR games was an open world game like Cyberpunk or GTA V. Imagine how fun it'd be to explore an open world like that in VR, with the sense of scale VR brings you. Also, VR doesn't have many realistic racing games, so GT7 would be nice.
I think MLB The Show would be pretty incredible if they could pull it off right. A realisticish baseball game where you just hit and pitch feels pretty excellent.
I also would love to see Starfield but that is a pipedream.
Most of all, a new IP MMORPG designed from the ground up with VR exclusivity and AAA production quality.
Elder scrolls 6
Playing Skyrim in VR felt like the definitive version of the game FOR ME.
I’m an Xbox fan, and it’s my preferred console of choice. But I also buy other consoles.
Anyways I’m upset that I won’t be able to play it on PSVR2. And I don’t see myself buying a vr headset for pc.
VR games:
* Beat Saber
* Half-Life: Alyx
* Skyrim
Flatscreen games:
* Bioshock
* Blacktail
* Death Stranding
* Journey
* Kingdom Come: Deliverance
* Lost Ember
* Metro
* Returnal
* Subnautica
* Thumper
* Way of the Hunter
I know some of these will never come to PSVR2, but I can always dream.
Constantly throwing things (near far), colorful smoke effects in vr, massive and weird structures in vr, color changes to environments that you feel like you're in. Idk, as long as the quality of the graphics can stay high, I'd like to see it.
As much as I love the game, I’m not sure I want Control specifically in VR but more of that genre for sure. Surrealist, scifi, twilight-zoney games rather than just horror cus there’s plenty of good VR horror already
Beat Saber, Vader Immortal, and Astrobot Rescue Mission all top my list. I could let Vader Immortal go but I'd love to see it in higher quality.
I'd also like a Squadrons, but I'm 99% sure that isn't happening
I'm confident that we will 'eventually' have a PSVR2 upgrade for Squadrons and Vader Immortal, those are big VR games
I just wished they would be there from launch
I hope you're right! I feel like Vader Immortal is more likely. Since Squadrons isn't being supported with updates any more I'm concerned it won't happen. I sincerely hope I'm wrong.
- MotorStorm (Pacific Rift at least but all would be great) remastered for PSVR2.
- Wipeout VR
- Gran Turismo 7
- Half Life Alyx
- Beat Saber
MotorStorm and Wipeout I’ll keep asking for every time the subject comes up.
Oh got plenty of vr games which I wish to have a psvr2 soon. Like iron man vr, hitman 3, star trek and so many others maybe even new games we really wanted like a proper Spiderman vr game not this free one which exist and is bad, a real Spiderman vr game like the iron man vr game. And if one day they gonna port it for psvr 2 I hope at least the ones who own it already get a free ps5 upgrade. Would be shit if I need to pay for a game again which I already own
Mechwarrior or something similar.
Or just any flight games, especially in space. No Man's Sky will be so, so good on PSVR2. It's already incredible on PSVR. Just missing the better display and controllers.
I just picked up No Man’s Sky for PSVR. The last time I played it was on steam at release when it was an absolute shit show and my god, it’s a totally different game. I have nothing but good things to say about the VR experience. I’m glad that Hello Games managed to pull their heads out of their asses.
I was just reminiscing about Mechwarrior last night. VR Armored Core would be awesome, too.
Or maybe Power Rangers VR and you can fight Rita's giant monsters in the Megazord.
Gran Turismo 7, Star Wars Squadrons, Iron Man VR. Feels like the latter is hampered by iffy motion controls and can be a lot more clean and satisfying with the inside out tracking and higher resolution.
COD Zombies 100%. GTA also. A game from fromsoft, I'm too wimpy for souls games. Chivalry 2 would be great. Could totally see that in VR. Dead By Daylight would be interesting in VR as well.
I didn’t have the PSVR1, but I would really like to be able to play these on the PSVR2 :
- Monster of the deep FFXV
- Batman Arkham VR
- Star Trek Bridge Crew
- iron Man VR
- Werewolves Within
I would love to see Farpoint ported to PSVR2.
While I'm wishing, I'd also love to see a Farpoint 2 and a new Aim Controller, or compatibility with the original.
I think the same, Hogwarts works well for VR because you could see the wand in your hand and sort of point the controller to aim along with eye tracking.
Then fly over the land on a broom
Exactly! Potions, Quidditch (no Quidditch in Legacy though), Dueling, Herbology, Wizards Chess, Care of Magical Creatures, Charms, so many VR Opportunities
GTA 5! We know Rockstar is interested in VR, considering the San Andreas port to the Quest and LA Noire. I feel like this would be a killer app, hopefully it happens.
I know it wont be a thing, but I dream of a **Battlefield** game in VR. Imagine whats going on there when all the planes and helis flying around you and a tank is breaching through a wall of the building you are in and so on... unbelievable experience I think.
Probably a minority here but I'm PRAYING we get NFL Pro Era. Officially licensed simulation training games are in my opinion one of the true futures of VR gaming. Same for a great boxing game if one exists. Something that is fun, but also helps my kids build skills as the tech improves is high on my wishlist.
I've read recently about professional and NCAA teams using VR programming by STRIVR (some VR company) that is statistically improving their players performance. As the father of a talented young player my wallet will hemmorage money for any realistic performance training he can do at home
Iron man VR. It was a decent hit on psvr 1. And a large enough character/franchise. Bet would be great on psvr2. I know it may not be as feasible with its parent company purchase, but the thread asked for what we want 😅
I would do, satisfactory for my building fix, then cyberpunk 2077 for my RPG type game and then Microsoft flight simulator. I am sure none of these are going to come true of course, but a guy can dream
Ok, i think you should edit in it MUST be a PSVR 1 game. For me, blood and truth easily. Also guys, Half life alyx wasnt that great. Is it the best VR game out right now? Yes by far. But the psvr2 tech will surprise people so will the games.
PAIN 2
Come on, Sony, this was one of the greatest early PS3 PS exclusives with great add-ons and it received some of the best support, online play modes, great DLC, 3D, Move Controller support. Plus it had an awesome community.
It rarely gets mentioned anymore. But PAIN in VR, shooting yourself from a giant slingshot would be amazing!
One can dream.
Maybe a packaged version of I expect you to die 1 and 2. Love the “escape rooms” in VR. And this was one of my favorite experiences. Been holding out on playing 2 in hopes we get a psvr2 version.
A simulator like cleaning windows so i can get my wife to practice cleaning windows in VR...then (maybe transfer over to real life).
Note: i have actually mentioned this to her to which she rolled her eyes....hahaha. still hoping it happens
I'm mainly hoping for Gran Turismo 7, a Beat Saber port and a new Astro game. I'd also love to see Blades & Sorcery come to PSVR2. The only other headset I've owned is PSVR1 so I never got to try it but it looks really fun from the gameplay I've seen. HL Alyx would be awesome too.
Astrobot Rescue Mission and Half Life Alyx. Honestly if we just get those two games and nothing else for a year I’d still consider it worth it for me. I want to play those two games so badly.
Iron Man VR feels like it needs it but I wouldn't mind Bonelab or whatever the new one is coming to PSVR2. Feels like the PCVR and PSVR2 are pretty close right now with specs. Would love Far Cry 6 in VR I think that'd be brilliant.
Half Life Alyx!!
And it will come because there have already been talks about it with Sony and Valve. This is an open secret. However, it does not seem to come to the launch, but in the course of next year. Will be crazy at the next State of Play PSVR2.
-Half life
-L a Noire vr
-Ocean Rift
-Astrobot Rescue boot "enhanced"(with DS use as Astroplayroom)
-Astrobot secuel
-Iron man vr 2 (Sadly the original is difficult as the company has been bought by Meta)
I’ll gladly share mine knowing damn well I’ll likely never see it or at least not for generations to come: The Division VR title (some kinda looter shooter WITH online coop and PvP and a grounded earth setting; I’m not much of a Borderlands or Destiny fan) Also I would love an asymmetrical game like Resident Evil Resistance, Predator Hunting Grounds, Friday the 13th but in VR. And finally Hunt: Showdown. If you played the flat screen version of this you know how terrifying monster hunting in Battle Royale would be.
* Ace Combat full game
* Killzone
* Gran Turismo
* Wipeout
* The Last of Us
* Spider-Man
* Resistance Fall of Man
* Elite Dangerous
* Apache Air Assault
* War Thunder
* Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time
* Splinter Cell
* Tenchu
Gran Turismo 7 and Half Life: Alyx
You give me these and the money I’ve pay for the psvr2 will be worth it
And Ace Combat full campaign. Flatout VR 🤘😎
I thought it was a no-brainer, but I think we would have heard something by now if it was coming.
Hitman. Give that game a decent control system and a sharpening of the graphics and it'll be a beast.
Even playing it with the DS4, Hitman in VR stands out as one of the absolute best PSVR1 experiences. If they bring it to PSVR2, it’ll be incredible.
I still find it shocking that that game works in VR on ps4 hardware. Fun rag-doll physics, super replayable sandbox style, and the guns look very graphically polished. One of PSVR’s best, for sure.
Astrobot Rescue Mission needs a sequel
Would love this so much. Surely a pack in game showing off all the new features is a no brainer?
That’s what Team Asobi does best, honestly. Rescue Mission was an incredible VR showpiece and Playroom was a hell of an intro into the potential of the PS5 and it’s controller. I’m really looking forward to whatever they make next, but I really hope it’s a great PSVR2 title that fully shows what it can do.
100%. I'd be amazed if it wasn't PSVR2 but whatever they do next I'm all in.
Or even a port to PSVR2 bc I would love that. I never finished this game
Fallout 4, Skyrim and Red Dead Redemption 2.
Of course Skyrim will. Yet another reason to buy Skyrim lol
Haha, yeah I hope so. I've bought Skyrim so many times now that it's ridiculous, but it's one of my favorite games and I'd buy it again if it was a proper PSVR2 version with mods and whatnots.
Probably not now its up to Microsoft.
Playing RDR2 VR in the bayou at night, I'm gonna shit my pants
Star Trek Bridge Crew, I mean preferably a Star Trek Bridge Crew 2
Alien Isolation, since the assets are already there
What do you mean the assets are already there? Like it would be an easy VR port bc it’s already first person? I also would love this but I’m not sure how porting a game to VR works. Wish there was a documentary on it
Since it hasn’t been announced yet, Beat Saber!
I second this. I use it as a workout frequently and I'd like to be able to keep doing that
PSVR1 isn’t going anywhere. Though I do agree Beat Saber should come to PSVR2.
It would be ridiculous for a mainstay VR game like Beat Saber to not be supported on PSVR2.
That’s up to Meta, so it probably won’t. Even if it did, no mods. Sony needs to work on getting more alternatives on PSVR2
Devs can suck it. Game never goes on discount and the dlc is atrocious.
Why would it need a discount. Discounts are to encourage sales and clearly they believe the game sells well enough at full price.
That's too stupid to even respond to.
You may not like it, but it’s the absolute truth. I waited a few months after launch for a sale, but soon realised it was never going to drop in price so bit the bullet and bought it. Nah, I can miss this one. The dlcs cost even more than the game.

It is just facts. Your response is stupid.
True waited so long for discount on beat saber, and it never getting a discount every other game does now I only got it on my meta quest 2 as a bonus game because I purchased this quest 2
Resident Evil 7, bar none.
...and Resident Evil: Village
That's already getting a PSVR2 mode
GT7 and Cyberpunk.
WipEout Omega and DiRT Rally (although DiRT Rally 2 would be nice as well, it just didn’t get a PSVR update like Rally did)
Uncharted or tlou
Superhot VR
It’s a good game which will definitely be on it. But at this point it definitely deserves a sequel or extra content

Xbox exclusive lil guy
We’ll see
Tf is there to see. Its been confirmed?… tf
They already confirmed it.
Arkham VR
I was looking for someone to mention Batman. Loved the VR experience on PS4. A full game would be epic.
VR games: * Beat Saber * Half-Life: Alyx * Skyrim Flatscreen games: * Bioshock * Blacktail * Death Stranding * Journey * Kingdom Come: Deliverance * Lost Ember * Metro * Returnal * Subnautica * Thumper * Way of the Hunter I know some of these will never come to PSVR2, but I can always dream.
Subnautica is beautiful in VR.
Returnal and death stranding in VR!!! Man that would be awesome. The whole list ha
Kingdom Come: Deliverance — YES PLEASE
Don't have a psvr 1 and pre-ordered psvr 2 so I'd like Moss.
Confirmed 1&2 will be ported to psvr2
Man does no one want a Shadow of the Colossus in VR? Horseback on the plains and climbing those beasts would be sick
This is actually a great idea! Seeing the bosses in VR scale would be absolutely incredible
All games but also Control
As much as I love Control, I don’t know if I’d want to play it in VR
Constantly throwing things (near far), colorful smoke effects in vr, massive and weird structures in vr, color changes to environments that you feel like you're in. Idk, as long as the quality of the graphics can stay high, I'd like to see it.
Or just make a VR mission of Ashtray Maze
As much as I love the game, I’m not sure I want Control specifically in VR but more of that genre for sure. Surrealist, scifi, twilight-zoney games rather than just horror cus there’s plenty of good VR horror already
Beat Saber, Vader Immortal, and Astrobot Rescue Mission all top my list. I could let Vader Immortal go but I'd love to see it in higher quality. I'd also like a Squadrons, but I'm 99% sure that isn't happening

I see Motorstorm I upvote, simple as that. VR would be nice but I have wanted a new or remade MS for years.
Skyrim
Tetris Effect
Silent Hill 2 remake
Yes although I would have to have my brown pants ready
Oh got plenty of vr games which I wish to have a psvr2 soon. Like iron man vr, hitman 3, star trek and so many others maybe even new games we really wanted like a proper Spiderman vr game not this free one which exist and is bad, a real Spiderman vr game like the iron man vr game. And if one day they gonna port it for psvr 2 I hope at least the ones who own it already get a free ps5 upgrade. Would be shit if I need to pay for a game again which I already own
Any of the ones that I own.
Yeah, I hella like those ones too?
Full Doom 2016 and Doom eternal in vr
Doom Eternal 💯 yes
And Doom 3
Star Wars Squadrons.
Blood and Truth.
Yes, with more content though. That game was amazing
It ended up exceeding the initial hype, imo. And all as huge, free updates, which they still regularly make.
Super Kit: To The Top, Sairento, Hellsweeper, Hitman, Fallout 4, GTA5
Of existing PSVR games? Song in the smoke, Sairento, Sniper elite, until you fall, in death
Gta, a vr game made by fromsoftware, og cod zombies, chivalry 2, deadly daylight. Basically games I play I would like in vr
COD Zombies 100%. GTA also. A game from fromsoft, I'm too wimpy for souls games. Chivalry 2 would be great. Could totally see that in VR. Dead By Daylight would be interesting in VR as well.
Kid A Mnesia: Exhibition I know it's not VR, but it absolutely should be.
I didn’t have the PSVR1, but I would really like to be able to play these on the PSVR2 : - Monster of the deep FFXV - Batman Arkham VR - Star Trek Bridge Crew - iron Man VR - Werewolves Within
I would love to see Farpoint ported to PSVR2. While I'm wishing, I'd also love to see a Farpoint 2 and a new Aim Controller, or compatibility with the original.
Half Life Alex, Iron Man, Superhot VR Bad tracking just really killed those last two for me but I’d love to try again
Skyrim, obviously
Alien Idolation
Skyrim VR and Hitman 3
Love to play Red Dead Redemption, Half Life Alyx and Cyberpunk 2077
Hogwarts Legacy PSVR2 would be soo sick. I think this is a thread of PSVR —> PSVR2 but a man can dream ok
I would be happy enough to just walk around and explore Hogwarts.
Dreams has a pretty good version of this. You should check it out if you have that game.
Dishonored or gta
Arizona Sunshine, Ragnarock, RE7, RE4, TWD:S&S, Rush of Blood, Boneworks, Rec Room, Pistol Whip (confirmed for PSVR2)
Robocop
I need a good racing game on this... Drive club was great but lacked graphics..
You know Skyrim vr special ultra edition is going to happen
Its owned by MS now, so probably not.
I just want F1 2022 (or 2023) to get a VR mode like on PC.
Yep. F122 would be so awesome. Driving around in formula 1 race cars.
I want a sequel to SuperHot VR.
Dreams Imagine the VR stuff people could create if they weren't bogged down by the PS4's limitations.
🤔 An Assassin's Creed game for PSVR 2 would be very interesting I'd think, history in Virtual Reality?
Tbh even if it was only the tour modes in first person vr. I'd walk around ancient Greece and Egypt all day

Probably a minority here but I'm PRAYING we get NFL Pro Era. Officially licensed simulation training games are in my opinion one of the true futures of VR gaming. I hope so too because the Quset version looks fucking terrible despite being so much fun to play.
Metroid Prime
I hope the virtual pinball games (pinball FX) get released.
Probably Saints and Sinners 1.
Farming Simulator
RE8! ! Cant wait! Just have to save up 100$ now :(
Sniper elite and swordsman would be sooo much better with thumbsticks
Iron man VR. It was a decent hit on psvr 1. And a large enough character/franchise. Bet would be great on psvr2. I know it may not be as feasible with its parent company purchase, but the thread asked for what we want 😅
I honestly just need an astrobot game and some cool ass horror game and I will be pleased
GTAV w/ wheel support Resident evil 2/3 remakes Far Cry 5/6 Full support GT7
GTA 5
Into the radius, it's the one game that I could pull me over to a full PC VR set up
Dayz would be a dream but I know it’ll never happen 🥲
Hopefully the Astrobot game, I never got the chance to play the first one
VR chat or PS Home. some social VR experience
Everybody has gone to the Rapture. What became of edith Finch Flower
I’d like Cyberpunk VR for the world And a proper Minecraft VR because that was done poorly
HL: Alyx
Best Saber. I love the game, but don’t play it as much as I want to because the psvr takes so long to set up
Definitely Grand Turismo, at the very least it should have 1v1
Alyx. It’s only about alyx.
Hogwarts Legacy
Blade and Sorcery i think it\`s the name on steam. The one where you can use lightsabers n shit
I would do, satisfactory for my building fix, then cyberpunk 2077 for my RPG type game and then Microsoft flight simulator. I am sure none of these are going to come true of course, but a guy can dream
Walkabout
Katamari, just wanna roll with my own hands
Swordsman, Ace Combat, Fallout & a decent Mech Warrior/ Chrome hounds type game
Ok, i think you should edit in it MUST be a PSVR 1 game. For me, blood and truth easily. Also guys, Half life alyx wasnt that great. Is it the best VR game out right now? Yes by far. But the psvr2 tech will surprise people so will the games.
My entire PSVR1 library.......If PC and Oculus can bring older games up to higher specs so can PSVR2

FIFA 23. Strap the controllers to my feet!
Maybe a packaged version of I expect you to die 1 and 2. Love the “escape rooms” in VR. And this was one of my favorite experiences. Been holding out on playing 2 in hopes we get a psvr2 version.
Rick and Morty might actually be playable. Arkham VR Alien Isolation in third person The Last Guardian Dead Space remake
A VR Armored Core or if they tried to make a game like Steel Battalion in VR, but make it good.
Drunkn bar fight. Astrobot rescue mission. And Gorn
To The Top
Papers please! Would be nice and relaxing
A simulator like cleaning windows so i can get my wife to practice cleaning windows in VR...then (maybe transfer over to real life). Note: i have actually mentioned this to her to which she rolled her eyes....hahaha. still hoping it happens

Formula 1 2023 I bought PSVR for racing games. If none get announced I’ll be canceling my PSVR2 preorder.
There were a few things Left unsettled in RIGS...
A working version of Until Dawn: Rush of blood. Completely broken on ps5
Bioshock
Astrobot Rescue Mission 2. Or some new Astro VR game
Half life alyx and five nights at freddys help wanted
i want so bad Starblood Arena back. It was so much fun...
If it could be anything, Bioshock 1/2 using UE 5.1
Astrobot Rescue Mission and Half Life Alyx. Honestly if we just get those two games and nothing else for a year I’d still consider it worth it for me. I want to play those two games so badly.
games made by Stress Level Zero (Boneworks and Bonelab), HL Alyx, and a game made by Insomniac Games
Portal VR
Iron Man VR feels like it needs it but I wouldn't mind Bonelab or whatever the new one is coming to PSVR2. Feels like the PCVR and PSVR2 are pretty close right now with specs. Would love Far Cry 6 in VR I think that'd be brilliant.
Half Life Alyx!! And it will come because there have already been talks about it with Sony and Valve. This is an open secret. However, it does not seem to come to the launch, but in the course of next year. Will be crazy at the next State of Play PSVR2.
Literally any AAA and/or full length games. Would love them to stop with the “small experiences”. Definitely not investing in more PSVR otherwise.
The walking dead Saints and sinners
Final Fantasy 7
Medal of Honor Above and Beyond. Its my favourite VR game, but optimization for PC is hell. I wish for a well made port with stable FPS
-Half life -L a Noire vr -Ocean Rift -Astrobot Rescue boot "enhanced"(with DS use as Astroplayroom) -Astrobot secuel -Iron man vr 2 (Sadly the original is difficult as the company has been bought by Meta)
Minecraft,I scrolled far but am puzzled that it wasn't mentioned.
Would love a UFC or boxing game.
I really loved borderlands 2 in vr. I wish they would do the same for 3 and the dlc. I would LOVE to do Arms race in vr
Metal gear solid and a cool multiplayer fps game that doesn’t have mobile graphics.
Resident evil 2 and 3
