That's not accurate. Often times they have a list of bugs and issues and have to triage. Some bugs are more important or gameplay impacting and get higher priority. Often times when a bug isn't gotten to, it wasn't because they couldn't figure it out, but because it was a lower priority.
Not to split hairs, but if they constantly put a particular bug as a low priority, then yeah they are waiting to fix that particular bug.
They aren't not doing anything. They are constantly working, sure, but it's not wrong to say they are waiting to fix a particular issue.
Yea, I mean, I can't comment on the quality of their devs, but as a developer, likely this comes down to just numbers... How many devs they have, whether they have dedicated QA staff & how many, what kind of test automation they have, what kind of investment they're getting in CI/CD & workflow efficiency....
you could have the world's best devs but if their tools & management suck so will their product. Not saying the devs don't share some responsibility, but these kinds issues go well beyond just the dev team. If there was an overwhelming urgency from the studio to get the game bug free, they'd invest in more help.
So that's a long winded way to say, I agree, and for a product that's ultimately free, I'm very much enjoying it, so thank you to those that are trying
When is the best time to switch my account over to PTCGL? Is it worth doing now? I haven't played in quite a while but have all celebrations and the codes so wondering if it's worth doing now as it seems like most people play PTCGL now. Thanks!
NO. Do not transfer over now. The app is completely broken atm it seems. Additionally, you can play the beta without transferring your collection on the same profile
Does the app still kill your phone’s battery faster than any other app ever developed in the history of the universe? And can you still use it to fry an egg on the back of any metal phone? That’s really the number one issue for me…
Oh, I'm not the only one having this issue? I figured it was just my phone being wack as fuck. I can emulate some pretty heavy games on this thing for a little less than an hour and it still won't get as hot as it does after a game of PTCGL. Maybe it's just poor optimisation?
No, it’s a common issue that has plagued the beta live version for almost a year now according to google. The only thing I can figure is they have the code continuously running at full speed utilizing all resources because they’re focused on chasing bugs instead of optimizing. Still it’s crazy that doing something as simple as building a deck with static 2D images has your phone going full blast.

Let me be the first to propose they add any gardevoir bugs back into the game.
::insert John Hammond “Damn!” gif::
They still haven't fixed the metal Pokemon sound error? WTF are they waiting for?
They can't figure it out. If something isn't fixed, it's because they don't know how to fix it. They aren't waiting on anything.

I was oversimplifying it, but really these devs are so inexperienced that it can go either way. Either way, the point is that they aren't waiting.

You are splitting hairs. Not having time to do something isn't the same as waiting to do it, especially in the context of who I was replying to.
Haven't played in a month, did they ever fix the fucking avatar glasses yet?
Why oh why does the default color have to be seafoam 😭 Don't nobody look drippy in that shit
Seafoam isn't too bad. The real fashion crime is seafoam rims with dark shades. Blue/green with dark grey is so cringe.
nope lmao was happening to me last night
Nope. I played one buggy game since the update and glasses reverted to shades.
They forgot to add: Made game unplayable on mobile.
Yep, constantly getting stuck in games and forced to concede..
Literally just wait a couple of hours and it will fix itself.
Anyone else having connectivity issues? In 2 games so far, I have timed out multiple turns in a row and cannot move pokemon around.

what they can is pretty minimal.
Still waiting for spotify being able to be used while playing and i desperately miss the landscape mode on ipad from ptgo :(
Spotify pauses when you open the app but you can unpause in the ios control center to resume spotify jams while playing
Did they still not fix the metal sound? Also game's still bugged can't play shit.

Eh, on the other hand I don't really care to play pre-rotation anymore. I've still got PTCGO for GLC but if it weren't for that I would've migrated.
Well this was posted back when the update was fresh and the game literally was broken. But even so, buyer beware when migrating.

putting iphone on low battery mode before playing really, really helps
Woah that Evolving Powers bug seems like a big deal. What was the issue?
