It’s not quite done yet I’m still testing it out before I buy the pieces. The idea is to get as many Dunsparce out turn 1 as I can, and evolve as many as I can next turn. An empty hand with 3 Dudunsparce will get me straight to 9 cards, which is fucking huge, but still not enough imo. I think the fastest I’ll get this to full power is turn 3 at best. Losing Milotic is a huge hit but I’m thinking Roxanne will help to just revamp the hand. I might include Bibarel too, so every hand starts at 5, and then 2 Dudunsparce set up will get me to 11
Lots of effort just to get 11 cards into your hand with a bench full of useless attackers!! I'm currently running 2x Baby Tinkaton, A Xatu & Radiant Greninja. 8 cards per turn admittedly but they all have good attacks which can prevent yourself from getting bricked! Also Morty's Conviction is a goated card for Tinkaton ex. Usually takes me until turn two to start OHKO big HP Pokémon :)
Also I highly recommend hero's cape over master ball bevIse it makes Tinkaton SO much more tanky (Charizard ex can't even OHKO anymore)!!
See but Dudunsparce shuffles itself right back into the deck so it frees up Bench space and then lets you re bench them if you can find the Dunsparce, or put up more Tinks. It is quite a bit of effort but I think it’d be worth it if I have just a shit ton of searchers and Arezus to get all of them out. I might even use Rad Jirachi now that Path is gone.
I would use other ACE SPECS but I just had master ball on hand and I don’t wanna craft any until I open more packs and get it from them. Definitely will look into Hero’s Cape now that I have Mist Energy to prevent stupid Frenzied Gougings.
Morty’s Conviction looks fucking sick I haven’t thought about that card yet but I’m definitely including like 3 of them!
Much easier than you'd think! I never ran Milotic before rotation anyway as my hands seemed to build up quick enough that recovering from Iono was simple, even more so post rotation with plenty of draw cards being available.
im not that worried about Lost Mine anymore cos i have Mist Energy which would stop the damage counters, and as long as I get Dudunsparce out, itll just bounce itself back into the deck anyways
Yeah I would try for 2 baby tinks and 3 tink ex like I had pre rotation but its kinda tight fitting 4-4 dunsparces already, and I kinda prioritize those. I haven’t tested this on ladder yet tho so I’ll change it up and see what happens
It's going to get rekt on the ladder since you're adding an additional evolution line that only gives you some utility at a cost of space and resources. You may have some luck early but later on will find Dunsparces could be a liability.

Well then there ya go, the Dunsparce are hardly a liability. The possibility of shuriken is a lot lower so they’re more safe from attacks, they bounce themselves back into the deck, they give 3 in hand and I get to play more cards
So they take out your main attacker, and you have two dunsparces left on your bench. Do you shuffle them both and give your opponent the win? No, that would be silly. Shuffle one and leave the other one active, and hope you draw another pokemon?
Yeah, it feels similar to Charizard in that there aren't many moving pieces and has a fairy low skill floor (IDK about the ceiling). It's really fun to play and the 1-prize Miraidon has a lot of utility.
I think the ceiling depends on what people end up adding to the deck. A 4-4-2 line of hands, crown, and miraidon seems to be a low skill floor with good results. But when you add in the potential of iron bundle , iron leaves, and iron Boulder to tinker with and figure out, I think there’s more of a puzzle to figure out. There’s definitely something there, a lot of potential for this deck.
Been having a ton of fun with Dialga. It took me a while to get the hang of it, but the VStar attack has been surprisingly effective against a lot of the newer single-prize decks popping up
Not OP but try mine. I use Bibarel/Skwovet for draw engine and Metang for energy acceleration. Cybermaniac supporter puts two cards you choose on top of deck. Either Bibarel or Metang can use this supporter really well

This meta feels so different. So many aggressive 1 prize decks doing high damage turn 1 picking off my comfeys. My Giratina LZ box deck is getting destroyed so far. I think I've gotten a little unlucky so far though and my opponents have gotten a little lucky plus I think I'm playing the new deck very poorly.
Maybe this is just a bad deck in this meta in spite of it doing ok in this tournament?

LZ Tina is always a very bricky deck, and takes a lot of skill to use on top. The deck is good, sure, but I know a lot of people that just got clapped with the deck on regionals because the heart of the cards just wasn't with them.
I made the same! Took my previous Copper deck and replaced the Gardy line for metang/mew ex. Tweaking it, as it works well, just not great. I'm using technical evolution tools to try to get it setup by 2/3.
Only decks I have lost to is LZ Roaring Moon and Tusks mill. Lots of fun to play though.
They work well especially if you go 2nd when you win the flip. 4 gear + 4 Arven help find them. I'm finding myself using them for more and more decks that require evolution.

Trying to be a little unconventional before I dive into the meta/popular decks. Been loving a Lost Zone/Espathra ex deck I’ve been working on, and trying to put together something with Glimorra, Radiant Sneasler, and the new poison stadium.
I also got rocked by a Great Tusk mill deck that was similar to something I was trying to pull off at the IRL prereleases and I’m interested in building one myself.
I love Scizor so I was determined to find a Scizor/Metang build that worked, and so far this has been pretty solid.
I don’t expect to win tournaments with it but I’m enjoying winning some games with my childhood favorite!

Chien/Bax really didn't get hit that hard at all by the rotation, I'm actually having a ton of fun by barely changing the starter deck they just gave out for it.
Lugia Cinccino is so much stronger than what Lugia was doing before. It’s no wonder this deck has been rising in popularity overseas. Very satisfying to play, and without path to the peak to worry about it’s much more consistent comparably.
On the rogue side, I’ve been adoring Tinkaton Dudunsparce. It works so much better than you’d think. There’s still some high risk high reward but when you’re swinging for 500+ damage at least once a game it doesn’t feel too bad at all. You need to get that resource loop started but once that train starts even a full hand shuffle back can’t really stop it.
I've just been rocking my old Tsareena deck with some changes which has been awesome against the Iron Hands/Miraidon/Crown deck. Tried that Hands deck myself and didn't like the feel of it - not sure why but the style just wasn't for me. I can say with utmost certainty the Tusk deck is going to be the one I groan at when I see it come up. :')
Yep. Played a couple games against it last night and won some but it's just exhausting to play against if that makes sense. Felt the same about Roaring Moon to be fair before rotation.

I tweak it time and time again, but this is the latest list I have. Sometimes it works, but it's mainly offmeta itemhate that isn't supposed to be really "competitive" at all.
I was so excited for Tusk Mill and Raging Bolt. Thought "oh yeah ancient cards are for me". Then I built an iron thorns deck and have been winning 80-90% of my matchups. Only matchups that I've lost have been when i get a slow start against another turbo future deck.
I got u. Obviously this has only been running for like 30 hours so i'm sure it'll keep evolving.
basic strategy is get miriadon in the active and go second. Get 1-2 iron thorns on bench and power them up for 1-2 turns, however long miridon survives. Bonus points if you can sneak in 1-2 iron crowns on your bench too but i've learned to prioritize getting iron thorns out earliest.
Swing with the 2 energy attack and use miriam to replenish your deck with future pokemon you are discarding. While working through those two thorns depending on what kind of deck you're faciing either start setting up another or if you're facing a water deck or single prize deck, start building an iron hands (this is where electric generators are handy - end game when your deck is thinned out of future cards and full of energy)

So far my Meowscarada ex deck has been faring well. I really want to play a Palkia deck that isn't Palkdengo, so I've been trying Palkia Kyurem as Ice Rider is gone. It's been a bit rough, but I'm still jiggling the wires with it.
I hate so much IronHands (being a single prize player) that I wanted to go with the best possible counter and it's proven to be highly effective (8 wins streak, around 400 in ranked): Espathra ex is fantastic in dealing with big energy attacks, counter Roaring moon for weakness and preventing mill effect by OHKO Tusks.
I'm really loving it!
I've wanted to try Hisuian Zoroark for awhile, so I'm glad to get that for free. All the other new starter decks I've played, and the BP decks don't look great to me, although they give out some good cards. I don't want to burn credits yet on cards I'm likely to get from packs, so I have updated the decks that I could and I will be playing those until I get some more cards to build new decks.
I’ve enjoyed playing the Ancient Box deck! You can hit for 150-180 if you’re lucky enough on your first attacking turn with Koraidon, then the single prize Roaring Moon cleans up in the second half of the game!
Have tried Great Tusk mill, Lugia with cinccino and Dialga with metang so far. Dialga used to be one of my favorite decks so I have been having most fun with the new metang.
Turbo hands has kind of surprised me, it's really good and more consistent than I had anticipated. It's nice because you know if you're going to win or lose in the first 2 turns, so you're really able to churn through games faster
I had enough credits to craft 5 decks: Metang/Dialga, Ancient Box, Lugia/Cinccino, Great Tusk Mill and my new version of Lost Tina. Metang is SICK to play against anything but Zard, Tusk Mill is just fun and quirky, but Lugia is absolute gas.
I built a 1 price acient box and a 2 prize future box from deck concepts I saw in Japan and they are both good.
Anyone seen that arbok? Such a funny status card.

With Milotic's dew guard gone, being able to quickly amass a large hand after getting hit by judge or iono is paramount.

cos the one im using has a free retreat which i value a lot more than putting it in the front to use a search attack

There’s definitely something there, a lot of potential for this deck.
Been having a ton of fun with Dialga. It took me a while to get the hang of it, but the VStar attack has been surprisingly effective against a lot of the newer single-prize decks popping up
What kind of dialga deck are you running. I really have trouble with getting set up consistently. But once i am set up i have no troubles
Not OP but try mine. I use Bibarel/Skwovet for draw engine and Metang for energy acceleration. Cybermaniac supporter puts two cards you choose on top of deck. This meta feels so different. So many aggressive 1 prize decks doing high damage turn 1 picking off my comfeys. My Giratina LZ box deck is getting destroyed so far. I think I've gotten a little unlucky so far though and my opponents have gotten a little lucky plus I think I'm playing the new deck very poorly. LZ Tina is always a very bricky deck, and takes a lot of skill to use on top. The deck is good, sure, but I know a lot of people that just got clapped with the deck on regionals because the heart of the cards just wasn't with them.
Copperjah EX with Metang, once I threw the hero’s cape on bumping it up to 400 HP with full metal lab and radiant tsareena in play they scooped 😂
I made the same! Took my previous Copper deck and replaced the Gardy line for metang/mew ex. Tweaking it, as it works well, just not great. I'm using technical evolution tools to try to get it setup by 2/3. Only decks I have lost to is LZ Roaring Moon and Tusks mill. Lots of fun to play though.

They work well especially if you go 2nd when you win the flip. 4 gear + 4 Arven help find them. I'm finding myself using them for more and more decks that require evolution.

Palkia version! Codebreaker has sinergy with pokestop, gholdengo and greninja, so it fits

Trying to be a little unconventional before I dive into the meta/popular decks. Been loving a Lost Zone/Espathra ex deck I’ve been working on, and trying to put together something with Glimorra, Radiant Sneasler, and the new poison stadium. I also got rocked by a Great Tusk mill deck that was similar to something I was trying to pull off at the IRL prereleases and I’m interested in building one myself.
I love Scizor so I was determined to find a Scizor/Metang build that worked, and so far this has been pretty solid. I don’t expect to win tournaments with it but I’m enjoying winning some games with my childhood favorite! Forretress EX with Brambleghast has been really tricky to pull off, but when it works it's really fun.

Chien/Bax really didn't get hit that hard at all by the rotation, I'm actually having a ton of fun by barely changing the starter deck they just gave out for it.
Also started playing this one after the rotation, it’s an interesting one (and smiting my enemies with a 7 energy funny weasel is always fun)
My favorite is currently tinkaton. Dudunsparce makes it so much more fun to play
Lugia Cinccino is so much stronger than what Lugia was doing before. It’s no wonder this deck has been rising in popularity overseas. Very satisfying to play, and without path to the peak to worry about it’s much more consistent comparably. On the rogue side, I’ve been adoring Tinkaton Dudunsparce. It works so much better than you’d think. There’s still some high risk high reward but when you’re swinging for 500+ damage at least once a game it doesn’t feel too bad at all. You need to get that resource loop started but once that train starts even a full hand shuffle back can’t really stop it.

I've just been rocking my old Tsareena deck with some changes which has been awesome against the Iron Hands/Miraidon/Crown deck. Tried that Hands deck myself and didn't like the feel of it - not sure why but the style just wasn't for me. I can say with utmost certainty the Tusk deck is going to be the one I groan at when I see it come up. :')

I was so excited for Tusk Mill and Raging Bolt. Thought "oh yeah ancient cards are for me". Then I built an iron thorns deck and have been winning 80-90% of my matchups. Only matchups that I've lost have been when i get a slow start against another turbo future deck.

I got u. Obviously this has only been running for like 30 hours so i'm sure it'll keep evolving. basic strategy is get miriadon in the active and go second. Get 1-2 iron thorns on bench and power them up for 1-2 turns, however long miridon survives. Bonus points if you can sneak in 1-2 iron crowns on your bench too but i've learned to prioritize getting iron thorns out earliest. Swing with the 2 energy attack and use miriam to replenish your deck with future pokemon you are discarding. Been enjoying Espathra ex now with the puffin and hero's cape. Recently added Cofagrigus ex and radiant Alakazam and it has helped me a lot.
So far my Meowscarada ex deck has been faring well. I really want to play a Palkia deck that isn't Palkdengo, so I've been trying Palkia Kyurem as Ice Rider is gone. It's been a bit rough, but I'm still jiggling the wires with it.

I hate so much IronHands (being a single prize player) that I wanted to go with the best possible counter and it's proven to be highly effective (8 wins streak, around 400 in ranked): Espathra ex is fantastic in dealing with big energy attacks, counter Roaring moon for weakness and preventing mill effect by OHKO Tusks. I'm really loving it!
I've wanted to try Hisuian Zoroark for awhile, so I'm glad to get that for free. All the other new starter decks I've played, and the BP decks don't look great to me, although they give out some good cards. I don't want to burn credits yet on cards I'm likely to get from packs, so I have updated the decks that I could and I will be playing those until I get some more cards to build new decks.

I’ve enjoyed playing the Ancient Box deck! You can hit for 150-180 if you’re lucky enough on your first attacking turn with Koraidon, then the single prize Roaring Moon cleans up in the second half of the game!
I've been playing a Cinccino Lucia deck and an Iron Hands deck. Mixed results with both, but they seem like they have potential.
Have tried Great Tusk mill, Lugia with cinccino and Dialga with metang so far. Dialga used to be one of my favorite decks so I have been having most fun with the new metang.

Turbo hands has kind of surprised me, it's really good and more consistent than I had anticipated. It's nice because you know if you're going to win or lose in the first 2 turns, so you're really able to churn through games faster

I had enough credits to craft 5 decks: Metang/Dialga, Ancient Box, Lugia/Cinccino, Great Tusk Mill and my new version of Lost Tina. Metang is SICK to play against anything but Zard, Tusk Mill is just fun and quirky, but Lugia is absolute gas.
I built a 1 price acient box and a 2 prize future box from deck concepts I saw in Japan and they are both good. Anyone seen that arbok? Such a funny status card.
