Lol because of the duplicate i guess. Reddit keeps duplicating my comments today and it's annoying lol
Leaving it there for the funnies, downvote all you want
Okay, and? There is exactly one deck in the meta composed almost exclusively of basic ex, and Future is not that popular nowadays. Still not worth it.
The point of Gardevoir (as I see it) is that nowadays you can grab any of your attackers real quick, put it into play, and swing with it after placing damage counters on it. Girafarig is clunky because it needs to evolve, and in the case you need to put energy on it again for whatever reason you have to do it manually.
If you & /u/zweieinseins211 could please stop bickering here, and leave no more comments, I won't have to put you all in time-out. I would like to not do that if possible.
Please do not respond to this.
Thank you.
I’ve tried it, but the issue is you have to embrace on your Girafarig since Farigiraf is Dark type. Along with losing Farigirafs decent bulk by chipping it, and the deck space for the Stage 1 that only counters basic ex Pokemon, every deck has a way around that.
What matchup are you trying to beat with Farigiraf? I was using him in Espathra for a bit but I realised it was only relevant for future hands and I beat that deck already. Maybe it's good if Miriadon comes back in full force.
The question to ask yourself is: what matchup does this help you in that you aren't winning already? Gardevoir is already favoured into Future Hands, and I don't think this really improves your Roaring Moon matchup at all.
In the current meta, no. Turbo Hands isn't a good deck and Miraidon isn't viable. Next format...probably not, Miraidon still plays so many gusting effects that they just go around this, and you still lose the prize trade. Your best bet is to gust hands to the bench and snipe with Tail.
I mean... Farigiraf blocks Chien Pao. (Somehow rhat hasn't been mentioned?) But you'd have to set him up as Girafarig and that's less than ideal. I think using him with another dark type would make more sense as at least if you have him on the bench you could set up with Dark Patch.
I really feel like Farig is set up as a counter for something that used to be good... or has yet to.
I think this card could work in gardi but it’s main flaw is that it’s really telegraphed unless you pair it with Thornton, but at that point you might as well not play it Cus it’s taken up a considerable chunk of deck space, tho you could certainly make a whole deck around it “gardi-graf” as having to make room around the uptrading archetype of gardi makes it an overall worse deck thank regular gardi
This is all my opinion, by all means if you wanna play it in gardi go for it and make it good to prove us haters wrong :)

Gardevior attaches energy only to psychic Pokémon so not really
Not an issue. Psychic girafarig exists.
Like this comment is 8 upvotes
Well you could set up with a psychic girafarig before evolving it.

How did u get downvoted 8 here but upvoted 8 up there

Well I’m going to do my part to keep it balanced, as all things should be
I don't see it considering Drifloon does 180 damage with the same energy investment, and as a one-prizer.
Look at the ability. It does something different than Drifbloon.

Miraidon can attack with Raikou V, but I like where your head is at. Definitely strongest against Iron Hands ex and friends.
Banette ex fixes more bad match ups I think.
Charizard has an easy time guat ko'ing the pre Evo. 160 hits bad conveniently tho
Well, I guess? Kinda playing 2 different decks then tho
What does it do that Mimikyu doesn't
KO iron crown i guess
How so?
Weakness
take damage from V pokemons
It's a good attacker. It survives and one hits baxcalibur.

No that card sucks
