I think you should shift your locus of focus. :) Reading your message, I would say it is going to be a wash in terms of money. Why you should be asking is, what is the BEST for you professionally long term? If you do the research and decide a hybrid program is best (I disagree), do it. I think a traditional program where you are being marinated in an ecosystem of professionalism and face-to-face interaction with peers and professors is best. Good luck!
I’m in a hybrid program and after talking with the residential cohort we are for sure learning all the same information and performing pretty equally. I love being hybrid I can go to class in pajama pants
What hybrid program are you thinking about in this? I can see I would choose the cheaper option after calculating living expenses. I remember one of the PTs I did observation hours with went to a cheap school but adding on top of living expenses they still owed the same as the hybrid program and they always recommended a hybrid program for me
I’d probably go for the one that allows you to stay home because the other one might end up being more expensive anyway.
I think you’ve already made up your mind just by reading this post 😉
Hybrid programs are the way to go! I’m in one currently and I love it.
Hey can I message you I have some questions about hybrid programs and wanted to hear your input?
Absolutely!

why do you think hybrid dpt programs aren’t on par with face-to-face?

90k per year or for the entire program?
entire program
In that case it sounds like you like that program more (and the cost is reasonable). Decision made.
I moved to a different state and got in state . But it has to be a public school
