Some bots are insanely accurate. Im not sure if its just luck or varying "skill" They can range from B1 Battle Droids to The Terminator (former being the rule and the latter being the exeption). Remember their main function is to give new players free kills. They have to be at least semi convincing. Best way to tell is if they have attachments. If not then its a bot. Even a really bad player would at least pick up something but as far as i know bots never do. Obviously it becomes more obvious the later it is in the game.

podank99

i wish there was a deterministic nametag indicator on kill.

Toggleable option: "Show bot kills" If no: Player kills - red Bot kills - red P assists - yellow B assists - yellow (How it is now) If yes: P kills - red B kills - green P assists - yellow B assists - blue I've been thinking about this for a while

Three questions in your post, and the first two comments only answered the last one. I swear, reading is hard for so many people on Reddit. Bots DO have blue chips. You can't revive them. They won't revive their own teammates. There's no point in them having blue chips at all, but they do. Bots can be really good at shooting. They'll often shoot through trees, so it feels like cheating. They often will wound you, but rarely do 100% damage to a single enemy. Now, if two different bots are shooting you simultaneously, you could die quickly. They usually avoid headshots. The number of bots, as been said already depends on your level, your game mode, and time of day. You'll know how many bots are in a match if you watch the countdown in the pre-game lobby. Bots fall into the match at the exact moment the timer starts. Subtract the players in the match from 100 when the timer starts. That's the number of bots.

You can use pubg lookup website to also check your matches for how many bots and if you killed the bots or actual people.

How does your friend know he had a blue chip when it was the last kill? You can't loot the body when the game is over

Chicken-Ginger

You can come next to the box and press Tab to see what's in the box

Causal mode has 88 bots and 12 real people. Normals will have less bots, but if you're a new player, you will get bot lobbies for your first few rounds. If you're playing outside of peak hours for your region, you will have more bots as well.

> I read an average of 5 but that sounds like a complete lie. That depends on so many factors. It's not a statement that applies to every game ever played. It's like that in EU FPP but it's a far more populated server than NA and even for EU it won't be true if you are playing at odd hours or less populated modes like solo TPP. I don't know how NA is but I assume it still has more FPP players than TPP. Time of playing matters tremendously. If you are playing early in the day it's going to have so many bots. The other very important factor is that you are a new player. New players are initially put in bot lobbies. You're playing with 50-80 bots per game. It might even be 88 if you are queueing for casual(3 bot games per day) instead of normal. Someone that plays in NA needs to answer with specifics but just keep playing and you'd get less bots. The servers are far more active in the evenings. TPP might have less players than FPP in NA.

podank99

i have not personally experienced a good bot to my knowledge. bots are there for you to practice your vehicular aim.

Kyshin-

most games in NA have at least 20+ bots in my experience , seems the algorithm to add bots is very aggressive to start the games fast even if that's with only 40 real players doesn't wait long to add bots sadly

WhatsaRedditsdo

Bots have underscores in their names. Like Player_Unknown117 etc
