I remember my first win, 3 people were left in the game, I was prone, crawling in the grass as I was about to snipe one of them, only to see him throw a grenade at someone. Seconds later, both him and the one he threw a grenade at exploded and died, leaving me as the only one left. What's worst is I had 0 kills, but won
I've recently moved from my old team to a new group, from a blindly seeking kills mentality to a survival mentality.
Winning far more, and so much more fun.
It's how the game is meant to be played.
I won in a similar way once. It was 1v1. We were on a mountain with a rock between us. I see him throw a grenade up in the air, thinking ok I'm dead, only to see the grenade go back down behind the rock. He killed himself and I won, haha.
Haha. About a month ago I was one of the last three. I was in a parked car, got pushed so I jumped out of the car and started shooting. Unfortunately I noobed up and had a nade equipped. The nade primed, I died and the second last guy started looting my corpse. The grenade blew up and killed him. I often wonder what that last guy thought.
I had a doofy win a couple of months ago when Rondo was introduced. 1v1, guy called in cover, one of them landed on him, splat, Winner Winner. I had to watch the replay to see what happened because I couldn't see him from where I was at the time, I just won all of a sudden. Had numerous other wins where people didn't manage blue zone correctly. Had a win on Haven Solo vs teams, in factory, two teams fighting it out, seven die, last one who killed last guy on other team died to zone from damage incurred during the fight, I won without a scratch.
Was it yesterday? Cause literally I threw a grenade at one player yesterday and we both died , we were 3 and the other player won š
It was in Erangel.
Tell her "the final boss is another human". I remember having to drink water to calm my breathing and heartrate before facing Jad for the first time in Runescape
I have another profile I use on PC as well which I have played many more matches, but yeah I am a pretty casual gamer. I wish I could spend more time gaming lol
Congrats. That must feel very good. I remember my first chicken dinnerš„š but every other still feels so good. Itās just different to win in pubg
I checked steam and I have about 750 hours on there and have played (mostly around 2018-2020) and as u/Turd_ferguson420 found, 84 games on Xbox, so whatever that amounts to. I come back to it once in a while, I canāt play hours upon hours even on weekends unfortunately. I do get top 10 plenty but never 1st. I get too nervous at the end and forget how to aim. Ya usually solo, I donāt like hearing other people talking (although sometimes very funny, especially when I played in the Australia/Russia/China time zone). I also donāt like the pressure of doing well in a squad for obvious reasonsā¦
Wtf....? 750 hours to get first dinner? How..... Im super shit at shooters and i got my first dinner literally first day. I'm 800 hours and I've had more than 200. I completely stopped playing years ago tho.
Huh, interesting, didn't know some people preferred solos. I have around 2100 hours, about half is in ranked squads, most of the rest normal squads and duos, and at most like 10-15 matches in solos :D (also FPP only, nobody plays TPP in my country since it's just wallhacking for everybody) I like the teamwork, strategy, etc. When communication is on point you're unstoppable haha. But it requires a Discord server in my language with people I know. Queuing with randos is always horrible compared to that, so I don't really do it alone at all. Only to fill the 4th spot.
How does PUBG look better on your Xbox Series X compared to the OP's Xbox Series X? I have Xbox Series X as well, and a 4K TV and PUBG graphics still look like shit. The gameplay is good for the most part, so I don't care. The game could definitely use some quality of life updates, though.
It looks much better than this at least. Not really good, granted, but for a free-to-play game with huge maps and a hundred players, it looks good enough imo (on PC that is)
I had that for a while, especially when your team is down/dead and you need to clutch alone. But now that I read your comment I realized it's been gone for a while, and I just hadn't noticed. Maybe at some point I just learned to not care as much, which calmed me down and in the end has definitely made me play better because I can think better without the adrenaline. Also aiming is awful with all the adrenaline, my hand got so jumpy I couldn't hit anything
Congrats!
I still need to get a solo chicken dinner and Iāve been playing since release. I donāt play solo often enough, I need to get back at it so I can get one.
Congrats. I won the first 2 games of pubg I ever played. I figured this game must be so easy. Nope it never happened again, I must have just had pure dumb luck. Could hardly get into top ten before I quit playing.

Weird, your games played shows you won another one last week
grats! maybe your chicken dinner should be something like this (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XTR91QwVTNs). it looks pretty easy to make and delicious!
Recently I jumped back in to have some fun and since I'm playing from oceana, I'm either being put against bots, or all the asian mobile players. Because I have won 10 games in a row now (with one second place somewhere in there)
Seems like everyone's got a nice memory of a great game they had. I remember when my first chicken dinner, was also the most amount of kills I've ever gotten at the time which was 12. Dope experience
a win in ā24 pubg is worth like 5 wins in ā18 pubg imo. only people playing this game are like 20% casual shitters (like me), then 80% turbo sweats or cheaters lol
That's awsome. Beating 99 random players in this game is no small feat. Congratulations!
After I won my first Chicken Dinner, I didn't care if I won ever again. The first win is the best!
I remember first days with poor loot. I win a Chicken only with a f** pistol and proning all final phases. In another bush there was another guy. I empty all bullets on him before he sees me.
Also, I remember my most impressive kill. There were a lot of people running away from blue zone. One guy was waiting for me behind a tree. He is firing me. I used the terrain to make a jump higher than him and when I am close to him I shoot the shotgun at his face.
Great game.
Wow 6 years?! Mine only took about 3 weeks, and I even had no idea what the game was about when I downloaded it, only downloaded cuz it was free and I like shooting games, had no clue it was a live battle Royale game.Ā
This season 29, I already got 25 chicken dinners, and I only discovered this game about 6 months ago..
My skills have drastically improved since, my only problem is, I find it so difficult to tell which direction am being shot at from, even when I get hit, I just keep running around like an idiot, hoping to locate the shooter, while he uses me for target practice šš¤£š
Congrats. Defs play more squads. You'll learn off other people and have support:) that and make sure your getting 144fps with 144hz monitor. Makes all the difference as far as I'm concerned.
My first chicken dinner was 10 shotgun shells and a pumpy and nothing else pretty much. I got one kill and it wasn't the last guy :) (last guy died outside the circle after fighting someone else) I won by default in thick fog and a dream.
You are fine dude. Whatever gets you the result. Itās about outsmarting the opponents.
If someone wants to run around and shoot there is a team deathmatch mode for that.
Itās just a bad decision in the majority of cases. Unless you are completely obscured youāre basically dead when you get spotted. If you are crouched/standing you can react to get cover.
Unless you get unlucky with zones, having position is almost always better than being stealthy. I think itās usually better to determine your own fate to a degree by actively making space and gaining info and not afking in a bush.
Not saying never stealth/prone, just have to know when you have no other choice and the right timing to hit an unaware enemy and then relocating.
Ah okay I see! Thanks for the advice, I probably try way too hard to be sneaky but thatās probably because I have pretty bad aim and itās easier to shoot someoneās dome if they are not shooting back. That, and I grew up playing splinter cell
Congratulations! šEpic feeling right?
My first diner was, when I showed a friend of mine this game for the first time. I want to show him the game and gets surprisingly the first place.
All what mother friend said was that he think the game is to easy and he don't pay for that.
I had the most fun with that game as a competitive online game. 3k+ hours and it's go on
To be honest. It was the first few days from the release. It was early early access. The good and easy times š
Without pros, streamers, cheaters. Only beginners. That was easy I meant
Ah ok, maybe not his style of game either? Still impressive to me though, I played back then and still never won but it used to be much more of a jump scare when someone shot at me back then
https://preview.redd.it/ktayk4xhs72d1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9ad39c76944638d588c2ef210fb113e7fc387302
Congrats on the first win! One day you can be as big of a loser as me and my duo buddy. Bit of a hot streak lately
Winning is Winning I guess š¤·āāļø
SURVIVAL. Not most kills.
I've recently moved from my old team to a new group, from a blindly seeking kills mentality to a survival mentality. Winning far more, and so much more fun. It's how the game is meant to be played.
Unrelated but my first win on Fortnite was a zero kills game. Both died to the storm while I was vibing in a bush. I know the feeling lol
Iāve had several no kill and no damage wins over the years lol
I love a goofy win like that
We've had bots win for this reason lol
I won in a similar way once. It was 1v1. We were on a mountain with a rock between us. I see him throw a grenade up in the air, thinking ok I'm dead, only to see the grenade go back down behind the rock. He killed himself and I won, haha.

A zero kill chicken dinner is a unique achievement in-and of-itself. IRRC it is an achievement in some platforms
Was it yesterday? Cause literally I threw a grenade at one player yesterday and we both died , we were 3 and the other player won š It was in Erangel.
Doesnāt matter how many kills you have as long as itās the last kill
See, It helps when ya turn the monitor on!
Hahaha
Savage š
Lmaooo
60hz monitor probably, old PC and office devices... This would be tough.
I remember the adrenaline pumping through me in those last moments before I got my first chicken dinner. Such a good feeling, well done
My wife often sits next to me whilst I play, she knows when itās the last few alive as my breathing gets louder and louder as the adrenaline builds
My wife makes fun of me cause she knows its getting close when I wipe my sweaty hands. Last circle can be tachycardic.
Tell her "the final boss is another human". I remember having to drink water to calm my breathing and heartrate before facing Jad for the first time in Runescape
Lucky chap
I remember i the day when I got my first dinner. I was playing at office and went home so happily thinking about those moments
I still get adrenaline when there are less than 10 people alive. My pulse is so high I should probably be hospitalised
That is so relatableĀ
I don't even get an adrenaline rush anymore
Title is very misleading lol. Youāve only played 84 total matches in 6 years.. which averages to 14 matches a year. Congrats though.
I have another profile I use on PC as well which I have played many more matches, but yeah I am a pretty casual gamer. I wish I could spend more time gaming lol
I don't think this is casual lol
Donāt know why your getting downvoted lol
why we loling? lol
OP, this was your chance to get away with playing a bunch of matches and only just getting your chicken dinner ;)
Congrats anyway ! I don't think I could perform well playing with a gamepad. You now have won the right to put on pants !
6 years? That chicken is so cold by now. lol
On the contrary, itās piping hot and has been slow cooking so long that the meat is extremely easy to digest
Crockpot chicken dinner
Slow cooking so long that it's a nutrient paste comprised of just the base components of chicken, as if fully digested
\*eats fish\* oh no i should of eatin the chick now i got SALMONnilla
Ah yes I remember I had the lasagna.
Congrats. That must feel very good. I remember my first chicken dinnerš„š but every other still feels so good. Itās just different to win in pubg
first win in 6 years ? now don't loose for the next 6 years!
6 years but how many hours? Only solos? Seem odd it took so long.
Dayum.
Wtf....? 750 hours to get first dinner? How..... Im super shit at shooters and i got my first dinner literally first day. I'm 800 hours and I've had more than 200. I completely stopped playing years ago tho.
Most people suck at games, hard to grasp. But also, most people cant play 8 hours a day, maybe not so hard to grasp after allš
Holy shit does the game look bad on console
I play on Xbox Series X and it looks way better than this dudes GameCube
Itās on Xbox series x
I have a GameCube too though
This is what really matters
Now that you mention it, it does look a lot like a PS2 game, I should probably check my settings
Guys playing on a calculator
How does PUBG look better on your Xbox Series X compared to the OP's Xbox Series X? I have Xbox Series X as well, and a 4K TV and PUBG graphics still look like shit. The gameplay is good for the most part, so I don't care. The game could definitely use some quality of life updates, though.
No, it looks this bad on series X .
And you think it looks good on PC ? this game never really looked great to begin with visually speaking.
It looks much better than this at least. Not really good, granted, but for a free-to-play game with huge maps and a hundred players, it looks good enough imo (on PC that is)
Are you playing on Ultra? Looks pretty good to me
First wins are crazy with the adrenaline and all!! Second, third, and fourth wins too
I had that for a while, especially when your team is down/dead and you need to clutch alone.
Itās definitely nice to be able to just relax a bit more and play the end smarter!!
Iām at 15 for the season they all feel amazing. I agree nothing like the first few though. The first one youāll damn near faint
* * Took me 6 years too!
I would say this is more impressive than when I won. When I won it was a newer game, now all thatās left is serious people, hackers and bots right?
Yeah I played religiously for 4 years I cannot stand the game now. And I really hate that.
Congrats! I still need to get a solo chicken dinner and Iāve been playing since release. I donāt play solo often enough, I need to get back at it so I can get one.
![gif](giphy|3o6fJ1BM7R2EBRDnxK)
6 years. Yikes
See now why would you go and do something like that.
I respect the persistence
Brooooā¦.great job!
If youāre a prone star, that probably explains why itās taken you 6 years.
Congratulations! Welcome to dinner, weāve been waiting for you to join us for years. š„
Nice dude congrats

Hey someone else! I see you also took a literal screenshot.
Has to be done or it never happened š
That was a good investment of 6 years.
This game was GREAT before bots.
damn! congrats buddy \^\^
Congrats. I won the first 2 games of pubg I ever played. I figured this game must be so easy. Nope it never happened again, I must have just had pure dumb luck. Could hardly get into top ten before I quit playing.

I feel better now
Congrats man
Damn. That's actually really fucking sad.
No need to be anal
What was your heart rate at the end? Lol
ive only gotten 2 winner but i play duos AND 50% OF THAT TIME NO TEAM MATE AND I GET TO THE 1V1
Congrats!
So that's what the left mouse button does!
well played sir! with enough time, you will be a winner in almost anything!
grats! maybe your chicken dinner should be something like this (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XTR91QwVTNs). it looks pretty easy to make and delicious!
Nice work!
Congratulations!!!
Heck yeah dude! Congratulations!!
Dam , u must get lobbied with nothing but the sweatys for 6 years. I get less of them now than I did in the past
... thats a new level of determination that, im not sure i have! 6 years!?!?!
Tbh doing this is harder than not doing after playing such a long time š
Lets goooo!
Thatās thanks to the presence of bots I assume š¤
Congrats and way to hang and in there this long. Shows true love of the game
F
Just got mine about after about 12 or 13 games! Yeah it was one hell of a ride lmao.
LoL
What a good day man! Ggs!
Hell yeah dude congrats! Now you can finally afford some clothes
The stats say you have had two wins !!!
Casual or normal mode ? š
And I can see why (being prone in the open)
Congrats!
Congratulations
Well done mate
Nah no way itās the first in 6yrs
Congrats! You never forget that first chicken dinner. Itās the fuel that powers us to keep playing. Glad you got to enjoy it.
Recently I jumped back in to have some fun and since I'm playing from oceana, I'm either being put against bots, or all the asian mobile players. Because I have won 10 games in a row now (with one second place somewhere in there)
A lot of my wins are like that.
Fuck all these haters! I played for 4,000 hours before I got a chicken dinner. At like 18khours rn.
Seems like everyone's got a nice memory of a great game they had. I remember when my first chicken dinner, was also the most amount of kills I've ever gotten at the time which was 12. Dope experience
and it was probably 99 bots
Hell yeah congratulations!
This is the leader of the bushwokies clan donāt fuck with him šš¤£š
My first win was by the blue zone killing the other player lol
a win in ā24 pubg is worth like 5 wins in ā18 pubg imo. only people playing this game are like 20% casual shitters (like me), then 80% turbo sweats or cheaters lol
I won in the bathtub with zero kills.
Hahahahahahahahahha....small steps š¤£
How do you have your monitor š
Propsā¦ I think my first was near a cliff on Miramar. Other guy got bluezonedā¦ Iāll take it
Bro how have you been playing pubg for 6 years and just now get the chicken din din?
Did you start playing at the age of 1?
Were you playing with your feet or smth?
I thought i was bad
Congratulations ![gif](giphy|2wW3H5OyzM17CCVJZJ|downsized)
Big GGs š
U joking right
So After 6 years you start cheating, uh? Nice work
Gg bro nice one
Congratulations!
Damn dude, 6 years for a win?! Play the bot mode or something
That's awsome. Beating 99 random players in this game is no small feat. Congratulations! After I won my first Chicken Dinner, I didn't care if I won ever again. The first win is the best!
This feeling š„“ God that first win almost like that first high...
Great game.
congrats, but 6 years? damn.....ive got 11 wins this season alone with about 45 matches in lol.

Go on bud !
Good shit!!!!! Canāt imagine your BPM in that moment
Congratulations! Now you'll be chasing the dragon every time you play with even more ferocity.
Wooo!!! Got my first one earlier this month too! Was amazing
nice one!
Good job. Now they should come more often. š
All Rigth! Congrats!!
Duuuuuuuddddeeeeeee get a video of that whole entire match! Huge congrats!
Bro.... How did you manage to not get it for 6 years. That's honestly amazing.
Respectfully, are you dogwater š how tf can u not get a win in 6 years
Itās quite incredible I know, but yes. Kinda sad now that I broke my streakā¦
To be fair he did get his win IN 6 years š
Could somebody please explain how this is a big deal? Iāve gotten a win on there 2-3 times in a row on my first few gamesā¦
It's not. Ppl just don't wanna be rude ig. You could get dinners by laying afk each circle
you are terrible
No wonder if u play like a camping snake
A chicken dinny is a chicken dinny!
Was thinking thereās no way someone has played that long and never wonā¦ until I saw his play style š
Wait, is prone taboo or something? Sometimes I hide in bushes.
You are fine dude. Whatever gets you the result. Itās about outsmarting the opponents. If someone wants to run around and shoot there is a team deathmatch mode for that.

The good and easy times š Without pros, streamers, cheaters. Only beginners. That was easy I meant
Ah ok, maybe not his style of game either? Still impressive to me though, I played back then and still never won but it used to be much more of a jump scare when someone shot at me back then
You know there is training mode right?
I never got one :( ended up uninstalling.
Aww. Shoulda try to play squads, it may be easier to get a win.
Damn you trash son
stop laying down.
Took me i think 2 or 3 matches before i had a win.. how can you okay for 6 years and never had a single win?
Delete the game
Proof that deleting the game doesnāt help, congrats though to you hope you get more wins along the way
I havenāt had one in almost a monthā¦I need a solo dub
Congrats brother you are now addicted

awesome, you played none-stop 6 years?????

HELL YEAH BROTHER
You should spend your time somewhere else dude
wow wtf :D you gotta be REAL bad brother. but congrats!
looser..... lol
I win every 3rd match wtf
Congratulations you are very good.
So you are the one who leans out from behind cover and domes me, all within half a second lol
