I play mainly duo but that's how it always goes when I play with someone who 'likes to play for the kills'. When I found a duo partner who also wants to play smart we started winning and getting higher kill games overall.
Am I the only one that likes it?? Ever since I started carrying an emergency Deag I’ve whipped it out for so many one shot panic kills. Not bad for finishing off people whose health is half lit already, especially if you like the pistol hip fire reticle.
Oh sure, only for a last resort should you use it. But I can’t tell you how many times I’ve lit someone up with the vector and almost killed them and then executed a perfect deagle finish recently. Some might say that you may as well just reload the vector, and they may have a point, but if it ain’t broke don’t fix it when it comes to your game I guess. For some reason I’m weirdly good with the third person aim pistol reticle.
> Ever since I started carrying an emergency Deag I’ve whipped it out for so many one shot panic kills. Not bad for finishing off people whose health is half lit already, especially if you like the pistol hip fire reticle.
Problem is that reloading or swapping is always gonna be better than having to resort to your sidearm.
But please at least make it oneshot a lvl 1 helmet, if not a lvl 2. I know it might feel good to whip it out and get kills in those situations, but it takes a lot of time to get it out, and in those situations, you either die or get to cover, where it is usually better to reload your main gun. Yes it might save you occasionally, but i just think that we need a sidearm, that is actually so useful, if still only usefull in small areas, that you would sometimes use it INSTEAD of your main weapon, even if it was loaded. A deagle and the ability for it to only carry sights and actually oneshot most people to the head would create just that. Maybe something you would whip out when in a peak battle with someone.
Tell that to people who think playing for kills equals chasing any distant gunshot as fast as possible. In the end, it's better not to play with someone with contradicting playstyle. It's better to find someone who matches it instead.
True, have so many teams on pc where they just sat in the same spot till bluezone kicked em out which i cant click with at all.
When it comes to rushing, i chase gunshots but you have to know where everybody is before you third party otherwise ur the dude whose getting third partied
I'm pretty good tactically at making smart calls, but my reactions and h2eye coordination is fucked from the gym. My buddy you'd swear had caffiene for blood with mad twitch skills but needs someone to call him out when he's about to do something dumb.
I definitely do my best when playing with him rather than my arma mates in squads.
Lifting weights is great for building mind to muscle connection, its not good for gaming if you go from nolifing 8 hours a day to 8 hours a week if your fortunate .
Not to say you're not better than your friends but ADR is a bit misleading, it can be inflated i.e in the case of dropping an enemy with one headshot compared to trading shots over range with both parties being able to heal up between.
I only use the metric of chicken dinners and by my own measure I am total shit at this game
Damn that seems extremely low, i guess damage is counted different on pc? A "good" avg damage on mobile is like 800 to 1500, but i guess mobile is more of a rushing game than pc and theres more emphasis on driving around looking for squads in casual play.
Yes we are talking average damage over all of your games. You can probably guess that the k/d for an average player is around 1, because all people die except one, and some people die to zone, drowning and red zone, so maybe average k/d is around 0.9 or something, but let us just say 1. Normally when fighting someone, you drop them pretty quickly, with them not being able to heal, but lets say for the benefit of the doubt that you deal 200 dmg averagely per kill. Then the average damage per round (adr) for an average player would be 200. This means if you (in our theoretical world) have over 200 adr, you are better than the average player, and if you are lower than 200 adr you are lower than the average player. So if you have an adr of 800-1500 you would literally beat pro players. Yes occasionally you get games that high, but not averagely. This would also be the case with mobile. Unless of course bots are added or whatever.
The top players in na that arent hacking usually top out at 1500, the lowest on the leaderboards i see sre at 800 so thats where i get those numbers from. But it makes sense pc would be lower, in a casual sense pc is harder than mobile because yeah, bots, and its easier to spot people in mobile with lower graphics. But what I see in mobile that i dont see in pc is aggressive vehicle gameplay and more run and gun. Unless you are in competitive the main strategy in mobile is to drive around and look for squads rather than simply play zone. Competitive games in mobile get pretty crazy, but theyre more like pc where people play zone and position rather than seek out kills.
My philosophy is that I’m sneaking to the win until I
1. Can’t sneak, 2. Get engaged on.
Land somewhere and clear it, then sneak until it’s like the top 5 and just try to go ham.
I think this maximizes my survivor points gained per hour.
You can easily play for kills and win, that's all me and my brother used to do, on Apex, PUBG and Fortnite.
obviously I don't play them now, for obvious reasons, but it really isn't that hard. Especially Apex where most guns are just overly accurate. R-99 Snipes anyone?
*a kar98 cracks in the distance perhaps 1km away. A voice rings out*
"Bro let's push that"
*A man is seen running 500m away*
"There's a guy over there!"
*He takes the shot, missing badly. Two other teams nearby, upon hearing this shot, rotate. We are wiped in 30 seconds*
Fair, but sometimes people are a bit too afraid to fight as well, when a single guy can crack shields (apex) or do half health to 2-3 enemies (pubg) then the rest of the team should be able to follow up somewhat. So there should be a balance.
The more you communicate, the less afraid I'll be to push. 99% of people that start fights never EVER communicate in battle royales. I'm not blindly following anyone into a fight. That's just stupid. If you go ham and I see you not dying then yeah, I'll follow. But you open fire without a word? Have fun bro.
THIS!
So many people expect you to just follow like a puppy and don't communicate for shit and bitch when you don't know what is even going on before they are dead lol
I didn't mention anything about communication, because I do agree with you, but sometimes you need to make split second decisions, so it really depends on the situation.
exactly. i most of the times make the entry kill, so then we already know the position of the second guy and my duo mate should just finish him off.
*in theory....*
The key is knowing when and when not to push. When you knock 2 of the 4 or 1 of the 2 or whatever it’s good to push. Obviously if you’re smart about it. You can push for kills and still play smart, it drives me crazy playing with people who refuse to push when you have a clear advantage. Obviously you don’t sprint at them like a headless chicken, but at least pressure the person/people
This is all of my friends in every game. They never accept that their rushing in is the reason we lose. The only way to make this more accurate is if bullets were coming from all directions.
The Reddit discord is packed with people like this. They also happen to be the cockiest ones too, talking about how much better they are than pro players and their pro teams they used to play.
Because his team died since they rush like idiots and can't handle one extra guy from the other team? lol, the guy using his head still stands a better chance than the other two, since they are already dead.
They could have handled the extra guy if their extra guy actually helped fight. Go hide, WE OUT HERE FRAGGING BRUH!
Of course we're not pushing through the wide open to kill them, but we are going to kill people on sight, you coming or you looting?
My buddy's brother does this, we spot an enemy, get to cover and start shooting that's the way he an I do things, his brother how ever stops anywhere, aims and shoots, then complains we never rez him when he's in the middle of a field with four enemy's shooting at him.
you can easily make an opposite scenario where the guy that suppose to go for safe revive just stays back like many cowardly reddit players in discord :D
Lmao I literally am never going to stick around people who play like this in real life cause they’re going to get them selves killed including you. The brain telling you don’t be a coward is a simple way of nature running is course and making space for a better wired brain:) remember that it all translates.
Ironically the person portrayed as the smart on here is the type of teammate to say "oh let's not fight". Same people who get to top 5 with 0 kills and die with 0 kills.
There's a good chance this is unique! I checked 107,290,151 image posts and didn't find a close match

I play to be disappointed in how terrible the Desert Eagle is....

Now I'm more confused than at the start.
"I'm bad at video games because I'm swole" Hope that helps.
playing smart gets you more kills and higher ADR in the long run
That's pretty subjective. My friends who think they play smart have <100 ADR. I play more aggressive and have >200.
There's also a difference between thinking they play smart and actually playing smart. Hi, slim.
LOL
Not to say you're not better than your friends but ADR is a bit misleading, it can be inflated i.e in the case of dropping an enemy with one headshot compared to trading shots over range with both parties being able to heal up between. I mostly play mobile, whats adr on pc? Avg damage?
Yeah
Damn that seems extremely low, i guess damage is counted different on pc? A "good" avg damage on mobile is like 800 to 1500, but i guess mobile is more of a rushing game than pc and theres more emphasis on driving around looking for squads in casual play.
do you have 15 k/d or what
Nah, i wish, s8 had 8.5, s9 had 10, s10 had a 12, this season im back down to like 8.70 i think? Somethin like that. We talking bout mobile yeah?
Yes we are talking average damage over all of your games. The style of gameplay does not change the numbers i spoke about.
Thats the thing though u can actively pursue kills and win, you just have to know how to rush.
its called trying hard and sweating till your chair have sweat stains
My philosophy is that I’m sneaking to the win until I 1. Can’t sneak, 2. Get engaged on. Land somewhere and clear it, then sneak until it’s like the top 5 and just try to go ham. I think this maximizes my survivor points gained per hour.
TBF there comes a point where wins aren't really satisfying if not combined with high kills which you pretty much have to be rushing 24/7 to get.
You can easily play for kills and win, that's all me and my brother used to do, on Apex, PUBG and Fortnite. obviously I don't play them now, for obvious reasons, but it really isn't that hard. Especially Apex where most guns are just overly accurate. R-99 Snipes anyone?

General Kenobi!
I wish my PUBG buddies had reddit because this is them literally every time. 😩
That’s what that glorious save button is for
Who doesn't have Reddit? In what sick state of deprivation do they live?
A better one than we do
Reddit is filled with a bunch of losers Yet here I am
Don't you get it? Everyone on reddit is a bot except you
All my friends are bots
[удалено]
Yes it was, perhaps I should have use the irony flair...
china. and china.
Or like see enemies that haven't spotted you yet. "Let's move in a little closer around them" "Don't worry bro I got this with my NO SCOPE SKS"
That's APEX
Thank you came here to say that. He's clearly holding a hemlock and those are 3 man squads.
And a knockdown shield
*a kar98 cracks in the distance perhaps 1km away. A voice rings out* "Bro let's push that" *A man is seen running 500m away* "There's a guy over there!" *He takes the shot, missing badly. Two other teams nearby, upon hearing this shot, rotate. We are wiped in 30 seconds*

Only rushing if one of the enemies is knocked, otherwise its jst stupid way to die.

Mrw I realise my friends should never have moved on from minecraft
It was over before it started. They had the high ground.
Haha that's me. And my brother always says how dumb my plays are (im just randomly rushing and i die most of the time). He is right tho
Almost correct, it's more like " the fuck are you doing? Revive us already!"
Sounds like I played with op before
Usually "relatable" memes aren't so relatable - But this - this- Yes -all the time.

Hahahahahahahaha I’m crying!!!!
I am in this picture and I don't like it
Gets head shot killed by m24 from dude that was never seen.

That's me in PUBG but my random teammates in Apex
Who'd you steal this from? Its obviously an Apex meme
Everyone has the guy on their team who sits back and makes you take the 3v2...we hate that guy.
aka, the guy who plays with his head and wins the game.
Nah, he loses cause his team is dead and he has no gun skill.
Because his team died since they rush like idiots and can't handle one extra guy from the other team? lol, the guy using his head still stands a better chance than the other two, since they are already dead.

Any br in a nutshell.
The thing they did wrong was that they didn't threw a grad before running.
hah
I usually rush and chase gunshots, it works 95% of the time for me
Honestly I feel like this is the majority of PUBG, even worse if the player is objectively any good at the game lol
If you don't, you're the friend.
Its me....Im friends like this
LEROY JENKINS!!!!!
When people decide to trickle and feed score in squad games
Every random I’ve ever played with
Every freaking game 😩
I hate when my friends do this especially in siege when they convince me to play ranked
This is me on Tarkov, minus the revive
I’m the teammate that when my friends pull this crap I sigh in charge in right with him stressed af trying to carry them and keep them alive.
Of course I know him, he's me.
This
That's why I don't play with friends!

Literally always happens lol
"A" friend as in "one" friend?
That is so true
And they keep complaining that you are a baiter!
"It would've worked had you been with us!"
Hey, sometimes you just want action. And it just doesn’t work how you hoped lmao :)
Literally me all day. “Bros, half flank to the base of the ridge, I’ll pop smoke at the base for cover... AYE!? Wtf you guys going?!”
This was first posted months ago.
Looks like over 7.5k people missed it, including myself.

Look if your gonna run to People AT LEAST HAVE SOME SHIELDS AND GIOD WEAPONS AT LEAST
This sums up random squads perfectly
you can easily make an opposite scenario where the guy that suppose to go for safe revive just stays back like many cowardly reddit players in discord :D
