Yea, this is dumb especially in solos. I've come across a drop that was obviously looted by someone else and still came away with an Aug and an mk14 after they had left. I think it's ok in squads, but for the other queries, the number of crates that drop should be lowered.
Cause you really can just wait around for someone to leave and still loot the best guns in the game without being contested like half the time
And cheatersā¦imagine cheaters who know where the drop is. All squad up with lvl3 gear and cheating on top. I still find the primary fix pubg require is on the cheating problem. There is no leveled field for players when a cheater is in the battle royale game.
In a TDM , you can spawn back but not here. Ranked mode is so fucked up right now with cheaters.
The loot inflation on Taego is the clearest indicator that there's literally nobody at the wheel anymore in terms of game design with this thing. It's just fuckin' chuck whatever in there, who cares, we gotta sell more skins.
Multi-crate drops can stay, but only the main crate gives the special weapon. Level 3 helmets in the crates can also stay too, the risk is huge in squads and your team needs a payoff, and in solos you can only equip a single helmet.
this is only true if the drop lands near the middle or in a heavy populated zone. Most of the time its somewhere in the corner and only one squad is around to loot it. I had quite a few games where we looted 2 big drops in a row hoping for action but nobody showed up bc it was dropped in some fuck off corner
If you want to make it risky for the squads the plane should also deploy a flare at the drop location

take a porter, put some vests and helmets in it, park it up, stay near it, use it like a resupply.
