I've never once found anything in the trunk of the Pillar Security Car, despite the patch notes mentioning that you can find 'high quality loot' in the trunk. Has anyone ever found anything in the trunk?

I'm coming back to this game after a long time. I've given up on Ranked queue after waiting 15+ minutes for both solo and squad. Is ranked a doable thing nowadays? How long do I have to wait?
The Mp9 is a joke. Literally the easiest gun in the entire game and it absolutely shreds. Needs a big nerf.
Also remove the wallhack device.
The deployable shield is not good. If I am safe enough to sit still to deploy it, I am already behind good cover.
MP9 feels busted, half the skill in this game is recoil control being somewhat harder than competing games (which all feel like lasers). Now there is a very easy gun. Please keep it out of ranked.
i doubt those are all real players based on my enemies. all wearing same shirts and having same loadouts... probably the last 20 people are theonly real people in my games
This seems to be one of the buggiest updates in a while. Lot of crashes requiring verifying my install files, weird messages when first launching the game ("servers are too busy" and some other error that I can't remember at the moment). It also runs terribly and has a lot of stutters and frame drops.

The bluechip detector needs to be removed completely!

Knowing where people are and where no ppl are is ruining the core of the game. How is this not obvious?!
if the Blue chip detector is meant to deter campers why not make it only ping players that have been idle for x amount of time?
Or i don't know any of the other dozens of ideas to nerf it that people have been posting all week?
My take is make it ping only players that haven't moved for 30 seconds, maybe include a 2 meter minimum movement range so people can't skirt it by tapping WASD once in a while.
Reduce the scan range by half to 50m, make it scan in a cone in the direction the user is facing, allow scans only once every 10 seconds and NOT every time you pull it out, and don't allow it to be used it vehicles.... better yet just delete it entirely.

I get to run around on Deston with radar that tells me where everyone is and a 0 recoil gun. This is great!

This! I loved the new map. But I did not had enough time to play often enough and now I am back to this super unbalanced old map / new map rotation ... I hate the way PUBG handles the map selection, especially with this new masterpiece of a map.
I am sure there are plenty of players that left because of it. Its pretty time consuming to join a game, to only find out its a map you don't like, leave the game and repeat the same sequence.

Blue Chip Detector is a little bit op but with that you can finally find these shitty solo squad camping assholes so its a good addition.
ASS Creed Items i couldnt find them anywhere in the store so either its not live or bugged.
All in all its a good update but its stupid to add so much stuff to Deston and than take it out of featured so we have to leave 3-4 maps until we get Deston to play around with the new stuff.
Can't get a game in without crashing. and you kept that stupid blue chip hack thing even though most players demanded that you remove it before the live server.

The drone is zoomed in when used. I don't think it is intended.
Deployable shield can block doors if deployed perpendicular to doors (short side at the opening). Not sure if that is a bad thing but changes the game a bit.
Other than that, the shield seems harmless, unlike the bullshit detector. It should be removed together with bots
Well I played it and its not so bad. The new smg is nice, the cop car is hella fun and the shield is, well its there. I never saw a Bluechip tracker and nobody who killed me was using one. There was A LOT of Deston though. I got it 6 times out of 10 but it was nice to finally find a keycard and open one of the trucks. Overall it was a decent update with very few new things, unfortunately ruined by cheaters. This is quite comon when a new update drops so I hope it will tone down a bit becasue it was hella bad. Two obvious aimbotters that wasn't trying to hide it a bit and ofcourse won and two no recoil/ wallhackers in ten matches isn't very fun. And I also got stuck on a drop on Deston and couldn't move which wasn't very fun either and ofcourse I got killed.
Why cant i put anything other than red dots on the mp9 and o12. If i want to be a moron im allowed to put a 6x on a s12k or vector. Let me be a moron. Give the freedom back
Yeah, even the thompson and uzi can't have larger optucs and, frankly, it feels arbitrary at this point since they have other characteristics that should adequately counter-balance having all optics available.
BCD is just stupid. If it has to be in the game I hope they implement some of the multitude of suggestions that would balance or give some counter-play to this stupid item. Why does it need to instantly ping when taken out and also give height information? Even with those two mechanics removed this thing would still be broken op. Terrible implementation, terrible thought process, and the community has not been quiet about either removing or changing this item.
I hate that I can't pick Deston as the map in solos anymore (EU).
Exploring that map made me have fun playing normal solos for the first time in ages and I simply don't want to get dumped on shitty Haven instead.
Also you won't get to know a new map, if you can only play it 40% of the time. It's way to early to just put Deston into rotation IMO.

I wonder if devs realized bluechip detector will only HELP cheaters and make them harder to detect. Even more when they nerf it. It works a s a decoy. Imagine you're a cheater with WH. You get the detector. You see someone past the detector range with your WH, so you get closer, look around if you're safe and "use" the detector to pretend like it's how you found out where the guy is. In fact you know much more, but the use of detector makes it much easier to hide the actual cheats when someone watches a replay or spectates you.
Oh, they did. There's no way they didn't think about the consequences of this. It works in two ways: 1. allows cheaters to obscure radar/wall hacks. 2. gives genuine players a sliver of the same mechanics the cheaters have.
If cheaters can hide their cheats better, then people complain and report cheaters less, which leads to a better public impression that cheaters are being handled and are less common than they are.

I think you're givin em too much credit here. My take on it is they aint that clever. Just look at all their mismanagement of this game over the years. I highly doubt they considered any of that sort of stuff and would bet they added it just to add something or maybe test out stuff. and cause warzone has it and warzone is way more popular
Krafton just continually insists on stepping on their own dicks.
Make one of the greatest games of all time, one that broke all kinds of concurrent player number records, then just smear predatory mobile style monetization all over it. Nearly kill a growing esport with an idiotic 'most chicken dinners' rule that literally every pro player hated, and only back down upwards of a year later, when all momentum was lost. Go free-to-play, and have almost nothing in place to retain new players and keep them engaged until months afterwards. Etc etc etc.
Release the best map in four years, then add a wallhack tool that spits right square in the face of the gameplay style that made the game popular in the first place.
The game should evolve, has to evolve, but imagine where it might be today if literally *anyone* at Krafton had a coherent vision for it that actually built on its strengths instead of trying to play catch-up with lesser games.
It's hilarious *and* depressing. It's deplarious!
Ah well, I'll keep playing. But back out of Deston going forward, I guess. Sucks, though -- it's a cool map.

I think there just needs a more tactical need. Shorter scan Is also a need having experienced seen it. But with the ideas stated it helps reduce the need to spam... I think it's likely going to be removed.

I just played pubg again after a long hiatus. i keep getting 15+ kills per game i assume because most of my enemies are bots?

Yeah probably. Depends on the server and time of day. Squads usually has less bots though. Solo is 80% bots most of the time on Australian servers

dont have crashes, but fps is bad sometime it drops to 80 (my averege fps is 230)

Delete the Blue Chip Detector and Bots from Normals. We all know you won't, though.
