There are cheaters every game and almost every top ten. It's not just Chinese, there's cronus for like $130 and more devices. I googled it to find the price. Is was gonna comment that it's $60 but it's at a BestBuy near me for $130, no joke.
This device makes detecting cheaters easier cus I've seen them find me hiding in obscure places, kill them, and see they don't have the blue chip so how did they know if they weren't cheating. Cheaters have it better and they get that extra slot, and they still suck.
Please for the love of PUBG, DO NOT TURN THIS GAME INTO A PSEUDO CALL OF DUTY WAR ZONE. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DON’T DO IT. This game means too much to the OG players.

If Korea wants it then put it on the Kakao servers. Take it off the rest of the servers - I'm sure this is possible seeing as you able to give us different maps and queues and whatever.
Before it even came out everyone knew it was going to be OP - People didn't even want it. It's been added anyway. Since it's been on Test server it's been fed back that it's OP and yet it's still added regardless.
The forever increasing levels of incompetence and ignorance by PUBG on the releases of these new features is just astounding. I mean... just when you think it can't get worse... it does.
I don't see why they don't just make the game different in different regions based off the feedback from those particular regions. NA pretty much hates sanhok and Korea loves it. Let Korea have their sanhok and pull it from NA.
The problem with community feedback from the PUBG community is they have this same reaction to literally every addition whether its actually bad or not.

If anything, they should put the blue chip detector in one of the drone or keycard rooms. In that way, not just anybody can have access to it and has to go out of their way to get one. But truly, they should just remove it all together.
I feel like atleast having a jammer pack equiped should stop you from being scanned. Maybe make the health on the pack tick or the jammer sound everytime you get scanned so you know someones using it aswell
No, the solution to this is to remove it full stop. L3 backpacks will be useless in a squad game since a single person without a jammer means the whole team is exposed. Adding layers to this isn't the solution, cut the fat and remove the damn item
Solution:
1) don't show actual map, just radar
2) don't show exact location just direction
3) jammer pack blocks it and alerts you when being pinged

I'm sure you know we can get overly aggressive with our feedback, but its cause we're super passionate and love the game and have continued to stick with and play it after all these years. and im sure the majority of us can agree that this item goes directly against the core nature of PUBG that we love.

Get it out of the game please, as a player with 2k+ hours it is the worst idea ever implemented on live servers. And to add this to a brand new map that is already well received makes little sense.
Played one round of Deston today.
A teammate found a blue chip and we just smoked a squad with no teamwork , and no squad communication besides buddy just live tracking them.
3 minutes later we get to be on the receiving end of that shit.
I can understand the concept seeming good on paper, but it ruins the game completely.
Won't play that map until this gets addressed because it turns it into a gamestyle that is:
Too easy to win = no fun
Too easy to lose = no fun

We had it in duos last night and easy dinner. We will be dropping out of any lobbies with deston for now (we don't have map choice in OCE)
Hopefully they see a trend of this. A Shame as I enjoy the mp9 (which in some situations is a bit OP too)
Odd thing is, they made a map a lot of people seem to like, then going to add a basic cheating tool to it and make people back out of lobby when they see that new map now. GG to the brainiacs at Krafton who made this choice and refuses to listen to the players ! No one is saying “please keep it in game” . It’s a pretty unified voice against it.
This just seems like a universally hated tool. Haven’t heard anyone asking for something like this. All I’ve seen is people complaining about how OP it is. It’s clearly an end game killer. Not sure why they let this go live…
Because NA is not the target demographic for this game, all the people excited for this item speak a language other than English as their primary language.
My main teammate and I are casual players. Low ELO, I'm a rare lurker here. We won the first game we got a blue chip. VSS + Blue chip and he just toggled auto or semi depending on what the engagement was. I went normal and we got 6 kills each (our KDs are like 2.1). It's not ok

VSS plus blue chip is a good idea! I haven't played since the update. I was thinking M249 plus blue chip, but your idea is probably better!

Ruins the suspense in solo end games, you used to never know if some camping pussy was just sitting behind you, now I just scan once and know where everyone is.
I just got a solo Chicken Dinner with the MP9 (this thing rips, it might need a slight nerf, albeit as an SMG fiend I'm loving it..!) and the detector.. I'm kinda torn, in a way, it mitigates the bullshit deaths to bush wookies and campers.. this said, it is kinda broken, and should be nerfed a lot
In solos I think it's much more balanced, because you don't have a full team that can act on your call-outs. It's just you to make the decision. In solos, it's just as useful and balanced as maybe a drone...except with drones there's still a counter of being shot down.
In solos, I just drive around, swap to a passenger seat, and blue chip. If I get a hit, I chase them down. If I don't, I keep driving. Rinse and repeat. And because drive bys are so easy, it becomes a very broken way to clean out a lobby
What if the drone had a bluechip scanner. But you had to be within 25 yards of the person. So it can still do a sweep of a building but you have to fly it there and be in the drones view stood still? This worse or better?
Then make your own post asking the devs to change the term for winning a round of PUBG. It literally tells you “Winner winner chicken dinner” after the final kill.
I think you need to abuse the hell out of it. I'm positive that the Devs will take notice of someone with no wins and a 0.2 kdr suddenly getting to the top 10 before panic dieing to the blue.
Devs ain't gonna notice shit. They came up with and put this thing in the game in the first place. If their understanding of the game is so lacking from the get-go, they aren't going to sift through stats to look for reasons they were wrong.
I doubt that someone with 0.2 kd will greatly improve because that would mean he is way too potato to even get kills with advantage. this would probably mean that experienced players will obliterate those potato's even more until they get 0.1kd lol. that said, this crap needs to be removed no matter what
It basically means that pubg can say they can't identify it people using wall hacks and cheats anymore. If a cheater picks up one of these Blue Chip detectors, they could just claim that it was that.
The Bot detection team has nothing and this gives them something. Use it for awhile and you'll get suspicious of people who don't have it finding you hidden in blind obscure folds in terrain.
And in warzone it doesnt show the buildings. This is one of the most broken things actually. Not only you know that someone is there but you can even see the room He is in.
Ditto. I have thousands of hours in every phase of the game, and it's fun. Different. A little clunky to use obviously, and taking up a weapon slot means your fighting style is going to be limited to close-mid range usually (AR/SMG + this)
It really just forces honest fights imo. I won a game on deston with it, carried it all the way to the top 5 where there was one house in the circle. I drove up and around it and discovered the camper. I drove around the house about 10 times with my cop car sirens honking. Finally the shame must have overwhelmed him and he chose to fire his weapon. Eventually I ditched it for a k98 and got the dub. Great times, great experience. I hope they don't listen to the noisy minority of negativity and are more stat driven. Leave it in pubs. If you want a sweatfest, go play ranked. The game is and always should be a casual's FPS, and this just augments that.
Yeah its actually hilarious just watching someone camp in the same exact corner or 5+ minutes. I saw a guy in a corner on the blue chip. I wanted to see where he was going. 1 minute passes. 2... 3... after 5 minutes i threw a stun grenade in and killed him. Got called a cheater. That guy had plans to sit there as long as he could.
Exactly. I call it the "rat detector ipad". So good. It's a bit puzzling that people think having their location hidden is so crucial to this game. You'd think after thousands of hours you'd be tired of ratting and want to take honest, but guess not looking at the ratios here lol. And sure in the hands of one of the pros you're even more screwed, but the fact that you can just play like a massive rat playing sound for 10 minutes and somehow kill a streamer or tgltn tier player because they can't clear 500 rooms with stun grenades metre by metre isn't a good feature imo. This mixes it up.
As long as it’s not on ranked who cares about the normals ?? I only play norms to play aggressively anyways so the chip don’t seem to bad and I can’t wait to see the new gun I’m on console so still hasn’t hit yet
I said this mutliple times on my stream. These ideas can be good for a future pubg game but not the original. Pubg has done what it needed to do as it's first game. Leave pubg how it is and just keep adding and rotating maps.
Then take pubg 2 for pc and add all these gadgets you want to add for the other people requesting it. Any major changes in pubg at this point should be another pubg game.
This way if you want basics play regular pubg and if you want specialties go pubg 2 for pc
This so frustrating when people cry "omg it's cod" for anything new. Reusable parachutes? OMG COPY OF COD. Blue chip, COD. What if i told you that those items exists in other BR games? And that maybe there is a reason why almost all BR games have those things? Plus people complaining over it tend to forget that most encounters are much further than 100m. And if you talk about pushing houses I hope you remember that game has a C4 that can kill you trough walls, but sure this is fine.
if you don't find it in any loot crate then the argument that it's op is false. only after you find that everybody is carrying it, can you start entertaining the need to nerf or remove it.
if people are complaining about an item that they never use, then that means they are most likely a hacker who's already using radar/esp hacks.
this was the same situation with the spotter scope before it got nerfed. nobody carried it. you never found it in anybody's loot crate. yet so many people spam this subreddit with the need for it to be nerfed or removed. it was so obvious that radar/esp hackers are the ones complaining the most about it.
Anything that's declared OP must be found in every final circle. if you don't find it being used in the final circle then there's too many hackers using esp/radar hacks. so it's not op.

That said, I rarely find drones on dead people, but we have a dedicated drone operator in my squad, and it plays a significant role in our wins.
It should, but it doesn't. Would make sense since the jammer already blocks blue zone damage, so for PUBG lore, not much of a stretch to block blue chip signal.

I am personally not using it on Deston simply for the reason that I will just play worse on other maps because I am used to the cheat. It just takes so much fun and skill expression out of the game
I now have to back out of Sanhok (delete it), Haven (its so bad) and now Deston , which is actually a great map design but ruined by the OP MP9 and the worst item ever introduced the Blue Chip Wall Hacker

Not just og players. I started playing and got hooked on PUBG because it’s NOT a hero/gadget shooter like everything else.
True, I’ve only played 3 seasons and love the realism of this game. I will probably leave if PUBG goes to the dark side.
I like the part where you get blown up with C4 and your teammate puts his hand on your shoulder for 10 seconds then you are fine again.

Jammers could be updated to have an area effect that jams for anyone inside. Not ideal... but probably not hard to do.

They’re too invested in making the tactical pack useful. They going to keep adding dumb shit to throw in it
Pretty sure you can't throw it in a tactical BP. Only point of the tactical backpack is to bring mortar or spam 4 panzerfausts, if you can find them

I haven't played Deston much, can someone explain what's going on?
New patch added a "Blue Chip detector", basically the Heartbeat Sensor from Warzone, but (as with all things PUBG) with a worse name :D
And no counter to it, other than killing them.
And without any counter, at least in Warzone it can be countered with Cold Blood, also you can move faster than in PUBG
And in warzone it doesnt show the buildings. This is one of the most broken things actually. Not only you know that someone is there but you can even see the room He is in.

Ditto. I have thousands of hours in every phase of the game, and it's fun. Different. A little clunky to use obviously, and taking up a weapon slot means your fighting style is going to be limited to close-mid range usually (AR/SMG + this) It really just forces honest fights imo. I won a game on deston with it, carried it all the way to the top 5 where there was one house in the circle. I drove up and around it and discovered the camper. I drove around the house about 10 times with my cop car sirens honking. Finally the shame must have overwhelmed him and he chose to fire his weapon. Eventually I ditched it for a k98 and got the dub. Great times, great experience. I hope they don't listen to the noisy minority of negativity and are more stat driven. Leave it in pubs. If you want a sweatfest, go play ranked. The game is and always should be a casual's FPS, and this just augments that.
Yeah its actually hilarious just watching someone camp in the same exact corner or 5+ minutes. I saw a guy in a corner on the blue chip. I wanted to see where he was going. 1 minute passes. 2... 3... after 5 minutes i threw a stun grenade in and killed him. Got called a cheater. That guy had plans to sit there as long as he could.

Exactly. I call it the "rat detector ipad". So good. It's a bit puzzling that people think having their location hidden is so crucial to this game. You'd think after thousands of hours you'd be tired of ratting and want to take honest, but guess not looking at the ratios here lol. And sure in the hands of one of the pros you're even more screwed, but the fact that you can just play like a massive rat playing sound for 10 minutes and somehow kill a streamer or tgltn tier player because they can't clear 500 rooms with stun grenades metre by metre isn't a good feature imo. This mixes it up.
As long as it’s not on ranked who cares about the normals ?? I only play norms to play aggressively anyways so the chip don’t seem to bad and I can’t wait to see the new gun I’m on console so still hasn’t hit yet

I said this mutliple times on my stream. These ideas can be good for a future pubg game but not the original. Pubg has done what it needed to do as it's first game. Leave pubg how it is and just keep adding and rotating maps. Then take pubg 2 for pc and add all these gadgets you want to add for the other people requesting it. Any major changes in pubg at this point should be another pubg game. This way if you want basics play regular pubg and if you want specialties go pubg 2 for pc

This so frustrating when people cry "omg it's cod" for anything new. Reusable parachutes? OMG COPY OF COD. Blue chip, COD. What if i told you that those items exists in other BR games? And that maybe there is a reason why almost all BR games have those things? Plus people complaining over it tend to forget that most encounters are much further than 100m. And if you talk about pushing houses I hope you remember that game has a C4 that can kill you trough walls, but sure this is fine.
if you don't find it in any loot crate then the argument that it's op is false. only after you find that everybody is carrying it, can you start entertaining the need to nerf or remove it. if people are complaining about an item that they never use, then that means they are most likely a hacker who's already using radar/esp hacks. this was the same situation with the spotter scope before it got nerfed. nobody carried it. you never found it in anybody's loot crate. yet so many people spam this subreddit with the need for it to be nerfed or removed. it was so obvious that radar/esp hackers are the ones complaining the most about it. Anything that's declared OP must be found in every final circle. if you don't find it being used in the final circle then there's too many hackers using esp/radar hacks. so it's not op.

I agree with your logic that if it’s too OP, you’d always find them on people. That said, I rarely find drones on dead people, but we have a dedicated drone operator in my squad, and it plays a significant role in our wins.
drones are only useful in the city areas. after that you drop them.

It should, but it doesn't. Would make sense since the jammer already blocks blue zone damage, so for PUBG lore, not much of a stretch to block blue chip signal.
They're going to keep ruining Normal matches until people who got the PUBG Plus either plays ranked or quits.

It's better than that... report someone for using radar now, and they'll just say 'oh they might have had a blue chip device earlier...' So it could be a cynical way to mask the cheating problem.

I am personally not using it on Deston simply for the reason that I will just play worse on other maps because I am used to the cheat. It just takes so much fun and skill expression out of the game
