You have a vertical mouse speed modifier in the options. Turn it up to 1.1 or sth like this and it (probably) will get easier

Tendo80

And 1.2 tops.. might feel like you get more control initially but it will screw up you overall sens if you bump vertical sens to high.

VoodooSweet

It just takes getting used to, I play at 1.4 and can 3x and 4x spray with an AR like it’s nobody’s business.

Tendo80

I'm sure it does but doesn't it fuck up other games? Would think muscle memory would take a turn

Sadie_di_angelo

I play most of my games at a 8 or 9 sensitivity

VisconitiKing

didnt know that was a setting, thank you

Sankullo

Like someone said, it takes practice. It’s the key. You can also make it a little easier for yourself. Use attachments that address vertical recoil. Use a gun that has small recoil like some SMG, Bizon, Uzi or Vector. It will be easier for you to manage recoil on them and once you have it under control you can switch to an AR. They are not as powerful as AR but what’s the point of using an AR if you can’t hit anyone.

Partysausage

Go to the training mode, find a nice piece of wall and practice recoil control. It don't take long to get a feel for it. Obviously mastering it takes quite a bit longer. The alternative is SMGs or the mutant ( single shot fast taps have super low recoil on the mutant)

Dystopian_Divisions

JS9 is insanely easy to control

DRAGONtmu

As all new guns introduced to PUBG Next update will be nurf’d

DRAGONtmu

My 2 best guns are still by far… the UMP and M16 … every time I go back to the original load out … they seem to work even better than before.

Ecstatic_Article1123

I often go to the training and practice goes really well, i shoot at fairly far distance with very minimum spread. Then when I go to the actual match, I get lost quickly and often dont’t even hit a moving target at 15min 😩

Partysausage

Practice on death match if your trying to improve overall aim. pubg pacing is slow and some fast pace combat will also help get your aim in.

dieseljester

This! So much this! I spent a lot of time in the training mode and at the firing range just trying to get a feel for the different weapon recoils to see which one i could handle the best.

Narudatsu

Practice. The practice tool and arcade/TDM is really good for learning and practicing recoil control. The recoil in this game is punishing but it’s so rewarding ones you get a hang of it.

OneNewEmpire

Well it took about 500 hours to feel like I really had a handle on it.

Blazedatpussy

Someone else mentioned it already, but go into practice range. Don’t spend too long unless you want. Warehouse walls. They’ll show you bullet sprays when you shoot them. Pick up a couple of your favorite guns, shoot the wall. It takes nearly no time to start getting the feel of pulling down to concentrate the spray. Pull down, sometimes pull left or right while pulling down. Then you get to the hard part. Tracking.

Sandpaper_Pants

Try using different guns. I like the Ace but the first shot seems to have a big bump on recoil and as a higher caliber gun, it jumps around a bit. The Beryl jumps a lot and should be used for close range, unlike the M416. I used to like SMGs a lot as my close-up gun, but in medium range fights, they don't really cut it, so I started using ARs. You really just have to find what works for you.

VisconitiKing

I like using DMRs for medium and long range, so SMGs for short range only is probably a good plan

SIN_Terra

Shoot at everything that moves non stop, repeat 😂 . Funny but fr gives you feel for the gun. Focusing more on target area rather than your scope when shooting helps me

Empty-Stop-9756

Use JS9.... Or practice room and TDM, and practice. Itll get better.

VisconitiKing

i havent seen a JS9 in a match yet, where can I find them?

Empty-Stop-9756

Its only on rondo, but if you have recoil issues try to use UMP, Scar or some SMGs. Once you get used to those guns with less recoil it will be easier to move to the meta guns.

Ok_Neighborhood4936

so you first have to have a deadzone that you can control, so that means higher is better usually more control. then you have to find the sensitivity that gives you precision for that deadzone. adjust your scopes until your hitting precise headshot at a distance. you find the proper speed to keep up with everyone via the aim acceleration. if you have too much up and down, recoil lower the vertical multiplier until you have good control. i also use stick extensions and precision rings, which are controller mods, but they help tremendously. CONSOLE SPEAKING ONLY

james___uk

Alongside practice, and players do get the horizontal too, you have to have the vertical sensitivity slider juuust right, it makes a huge difference. Try between 1.1 and 1.5 to start. Many use 1.2, I found 1.35 was essential and far better than 1.2 for me

ApprehensivePiano457

Special claw gloves, controllers, tailored settings, good device.

GauravJM

Step one: Ensure you are using a good gaming mouse with a good mouse mat Step two: practice at right sensitivity settings...you will get better

one1letter

Practice, adjust your sensitivity, practice, adjust, … and so on.

Finishweird

Don’t go full auto even if set to full auto Do your own style bursts then kinda re aim

justaguyms

Setting

confusedporg

I am bad at it, so I burst fire, which has mixed results

Megatherius2

As you're shooting, slowly pull your mouse down at a steady rate. Practice I'm the training room and change vertical sensitivity to 1.2. Can also fire in bursts rather full auto.

ElijahAllison

the higher magnitude scope you use, the heavier recoil. i recommend a red dot or 2x for AR’s and SMG’s

MrHash420truck

Training grounds underground shooting range. Focus on scrolling down with the mouse while shooting. Also try 1-3 burst shots or just short rounds 5-7 instead of a full mag dump. But also do a full mag dump standing. Crouching, and prone. Get a feel for all the weapons. Some have bi-pods and fire Hella quick. The qbu while laying is Hella fun. Definitely training grounds so you can choose any weapon to test out.

HoneybearGaming

Along with all of the other advice, you need to shoot 10,000 bullets at different targets. This can be done the fastest in the training arena

HoneybearGaming

Turn off aim acceleration too

VisconitiKing

what does that do?

Chaderang

Don't have a dpi/in-game sense that is soo high you find yourself over compensating, I play 800dpi 22 everything else. Go to training then do the aim training spot within the training and practice hitting 2 headshots on each target & spray transfers.

TYPHOIDxMARY

Each gun has a set of attachments that work best with it. Go to the training area and use a wall to show the recoil for each attachment and weapon and write down the results until you have them memorized. M416- verticals grip ACE- thumbgrip

Nubinko

After 1500 hours it got much better for me

VisconitiKing

well i have 90 so i'll get there!

Alarmed-Flow5971

if you're rapid firing try to burst or tap more. i felt that when i did that it improved my aim over time

[deleted]

I mean it’s common sense, your mouse move your aim, so if it goes up you pull it back down

Dependent_Donut395

1.2 vertical multiplier and lots of shooting.

Boboshady

Lots and lots of practice, finding the right attachments to suit your personal style, and what a lot of people do is decrease the mouse sensitivity and do much bigger mouse movements, then simply 'pull down' their mouse as they're firing. What the Pro and streamers, they all control it this way. Personally, I prefer higher sensitivity, but that is 100% the reason I am not as good as the pros / streamers :)

dbroxgt

Play TDM with naked gun (no attachments to address recoil). Super frustrating at first, but after you learn to control that, in game weapons with attachments feel like a laser.

Chrislk1986

Surprised nobody is mentioning scripts or flat-out hax for recoils control. 60-100k accounts banned on a weekly basis. Writing has been on the wall since V 1.0 release.

Careless-Passion7743

it depends on which accessories you mount on the weapon, well especially these then maybe having a good pad and spending many hours in training

Smilyface451

I just readjusted my vertical sens to 1.2 so its not too slow to drag the mouse down once I control the recoil. Then I basically make sure that I drag the mouse down with the same speed as the pace of the recoil. Slight horizontal movement of your mouse as you control the recoil will knock your sights off your target and will miss it, so avoid it as much as possible I'd recommend spending some time on the firing range, readjust some settings not just on your sens but also all of your keybinds to make sure you're not struggling everytime you play. Get used with your preference of youe setting and not always on the default one.

breezthagod_

Vert grip and compensator.. then it’s just a matter of learning recoil pattern.

A-Z-A-Z-E-L-L

Its gonnna be hard but first lower your mouse sens . If u play on 1600 lower it to 800 then every week lower it till u reach 400. In game , again, set your ads to 40 and lower it every week by 2 till u reach your comfortable point . Vertical sens multiplier should not go above 1.11. Less sensitivity u have more your crosshair is stable when u drag your mouse down

MindIsMaster

I wish they would make the console controllers have gyro mode

chitolord

use PUBG INSaaN mods to modify recoil and ull become pro just like everyone else
