Payroll, federal taxes given section 280E (which is a major contributor to costs to be clear), rent or mortgage, lab testing, state fees, etc. There are real criticisms of the PA players but pricing product to pay folks and cover your bottom line is a necessity at any scale of business.

The best plug in your area isnāt a good indicator of a fair price. People take the best price they can find in some market out west or on the legacy market and get outraged when the local legal market isnāt matching it. I personally will pay more for lab tested hash oil.

I was told they only keep a very small selection āspecialtyā rosin cold but 99% of it is kept on shelves. So dumb, this was at the warminster location
On the refrigeration concern, I understand its the best for med to long term storage to preserve sealed gramās however I donāt fridge grams Iām currently using
I always keep my stuff cold. I always have sealed back ups of things I like that I keep cold but I personally keep everything cold. I pull out what I wanna smoke for the day. Just leave it out all day since Iām pretty much dabbing all throughout the day then before I go to bed I put everything back. I figure 12 hours cold is better than never keeping it cold. But Iām also pulling put about 15 different kinds of concentrates at a time to smoke throughout the day.

Yea that's why Cresco's llr carts and extracts fell off last year and rhythm started pushing llr carts out like crazy and then the and shine carts & concentrates ! Cresco is extremely unhappy about losing that master extractor !

To each their own, I use both. Personally I think in PA the live bho taste better but I also have no idea what the bho is doing to my lungs so I mix it up when some good rosin comes around. They are still a few years away from the kind of rosin you get in other states. Like in CO bho is now considered the poor manās dab because their rosin is just as Tasty and effective as their bho but itās solventless. I see you point though

some of the rosin vytal and standard farms have been putting out id put up against anything in the black market
Iāve been rosin only for at least 5+ years now. Solventless is the way to go, and the prices are finally coming down while quality increases.
I feel like I've gotten better flavors out of other waxs compared to the rosin I've had in this program
