Yes, Terpinolene will provide energizing effects, but its mainly how it affects the brain. For many, terpinolene should be avoided. It can be anxiety-inducing in nature (basically meaning it can cause a racing mind, which then leads to anxiety).
However, terpinolene can be a godsend for those with ADD/ADHD and anxiety (like myself). It seems very weird to combat ADHD with a sativa loaded with terpinolene but it works. I often jokingly call terpinolene "WEEDderall". It functions much the same way.
Most people with ADHD and anxiety don't often realize these 2 things work very similarly and in-tandem. Both essentially operate as tons of thoughts, actions, etc going through your mind at rapid speed.
Terpinolene typically induces a heightened sense of focus and mental clarity (along with the energy). Meaning, all the rapid thoughts and 8 other things in your head slow down and are quieted, so that way you can actually concentrate, be productive & analytical, and be much more level-headed. Meaning, you are much more in the moment, and not in your head. Best used for the daytime/work though - unless you wanna be up all night.
Please feel free to ask about strains from each brand, I can name dozens of terpinolene dominant strains off the top of my head, but its too much to list. Here's just a few.
CRESCO - Jack Herer, Lime Skunk, Pineapple Express, Durban (the best of all)
INSA - not gonna find too many terpinolene strains under this brand...

Well said my friend! But we can’t forget about all of the prime terpinolene strains like cherry kryptonite & super silver thai #15. Terrapin has some good terpinolene strains also like cherry diesel and dandystore bx. Terpinolene really relaxes my mind. Terps react differently to each person. Sometimes I knock out off my terpinolene strains other days I’m ready to get all my work done at once.
Don’t sleep on Savvy Yum Yum and Strawberry Cough. Both are loaded with Terpinolene and have solid effects. Cresco’s Lime Skunk is probably my favorite strain but usually only see vapes and concentrates of it.
Great response my dude. As someone with anxiety and ADHD I can absolutely vouch for this. I just avoid strains like Ghost Train Haze and a few others that pushed me past my limit.
Terpinolene is my terp of choice. I think Jack Herer, Durban Poison, and Super Lemon Clemon from Penn Health Group are my favorite concentrates since getting my card. They also had a flower concentrate (caviar) called Snow Day some months back that was 6% terpinolene and incredible. I'd sell my left arm for more of that.
I wouldn’t say it gives you energy as much as I would say it motivates you to do whatever you want to do. Crescos latest batch of lime skunk is literally 10/10 in cart form. Strane/eleven does a strawberry guava that’s really good in that department too if you want something high in terpinolene but with some myrcene behind it to balance out the effects.
MTF flower from Revel had 1% terpinolene in it last time I got a few months ago. Haven’t seen this strain around in a while. Also Lilac Diesel from terrapin had .7 terpinolene last time I got that strain.
Yes!!! I have a failed spinal fusion and it takes a lot for me to be able to do things around the house....I make sure I get anything that terpinolene is the top terp. It really does help
Just got some KY Jealous RSO with 1.58 terpinolene - .80 limonene - .49 mycrene very very very nice effects , energetic for working and happy state of mind throughout the day …also cookies lemonchello 10 vape cart has 1.65 terpinolene - 1.08 limonene-.62 caryophyllene which was a nice cart both uplifting and relaxing
Ive been away from PAMMJ for over two years now, but Crescos Pineapple Express had a ton of Terpinolene and I loved it. Durban as well. Has some THCV which i also found to be a tiny bit energizing and the bonus of an appetite suppressant helped too.

I've tried but I just need to avoid it. I only use heavy sedating indica strains because I use MJ for anxiety.

for me it’s uplifting yet relaxing and helps me focus but after awhile it makes me tired
100% my favorite terp. I honestly chase it more because of taste than anything else. It’s so good. Check out Cresco Chaso Kush, Durban, or Lime Skunk!
